  1. I imagine me watching them watching me watching them. It sounds like my relationship with my cat. The kissing and loving might work because they're ponies and not humans. Humans that behave that way scare me but technically they're not. (Unless we're talking EG then I'd run screaming). This is all provided that the kissing is platonic.

  2. She's friends with every pony but doesn't abandon her original friends. She manages to strike a balance and learned to understand different types of friendships after A Friend in Deed. She's not easily offended. When RD said Doodle didn't want to deal with her hyperactivity or whatever the exact quote was she was sad but at the concept of not having Doodle as a friend, not the wording of RD. She's open to objective criticism.  She's random but she's also extremely organized as we saw in Party Pooped. (I think that was the name of the ep.).

I agree with your assessment. I think she's just an extreme extrovert with possible ADHD.

  3. AJ and Pinkie's friendship getting closer makes me happy. They're cute together.

Marble Pie is cute but I prefer Fluttershy. Not that she holds the monopoly on cute but my need for a cute timid character is filled. I don't dislike Marble but don't have any strong feelings about her except I think it's cool to find out she's Pinkie's TWIN. I think she would not work well as a couple with Big Mac. They're both too quiet and shy. No one would make the first move and now opportunity for growth when you have sooo much in common, behaviorally. Cherilee would be a better match.

Is Limestone her triplet, as they they look the same age? Maude looks older and I know she's older than Pinkie and Marble. I like Maude the best but I thought all the Pies were surprisingly endearing and and likable in their own way.I hope to see more of them.

And the Apples I enjoy as always but I'd like to meet some other families of the mane 6 they haven't yet been explored.

  4. It didn't sit well with me. And the test didn't seem particularly fail-safe. "Let's see which Pinkie doesn't act like Pinkie in this scenario and that's clearly the Pinkie that is the real Pinkie." Okay, what?  Pinkie IS Pinkie. She could have failed it too. How about interview them all and seeing which ones have the most memory and seeing if they could recall facts and life events only the real Pinkie would know. Also, the real Pinkie was the only one moping and looking depressed at her mistake. Nopony noticed.

For someone who relies on logic and science Twilight's method was neither logical or scientific in my opinion.

  5. I am underwhelmed with it but I think it has (had?) potential. I like the idea of getting various characters together. I wouldn't want every episode centered around it but I like when they mix up the character pairs. I was hoping Rarity and Fluttershy would go on a quest together. I think they work well together. Twilight and Fluttershy were a bit boring. Twilight needs someone like Pinkie or RD. They put the two most dynamic ponies together (and I totally get why considering Gilda's problems with Pinkie) but I like to see character balance. I do like Pinkie and AJ together. Ever since they discovered they were (maybe) family I've enjoyed both characters more. Rarity and AJ get paired together a lot it seems and while they play off each other well, I'd like to see some others.

I enjoyed Rarity investigates for that reason too. Rarity and RD are two characters who don't usually have plots together (except Sonic Rainboom way back in season 1)

  6. I have a sort of head canon about crossover talent or weaker talents.  I wonder if Fluttershy is a weak flier because at least one of her parents were earth ponies. Though her personality and confidence may be a factor because she can fly fine now when she isn't "performing." Maybe RD has some earth pony blood and that accounts for her strength. Maybe Scootaloo has two earth pony parents so she lives on the ground and never had a real mentor (before RD) to show her the ropes and why her wings are a bit too small.

But I don't think I've seen a plant (or food) based cutie mark that wasn't attached to the flank of an Earth Pony. There might be a few I didn't catch, but like I said before, who says their can't be occasional talent cross over?

  7. Contradiction what I see most people typing them as, I see Twilight as a ISTJ and Maude as INTJ actually.

If you look at the cognitive functions, ISTJ and ENFP (which I type Pinkie as) are in opposite  order (Ne, Fi, Te, Si for Pinkie and Si, Te, Fi, Ne) for Twilight. Twilight and Pinkie are opposites to me more than Maude and Pinkie, but they have similar traits too. Pinkie's very organized when it comes to her specific interests (friends/party planning) and Twilight can be random and jump to various tangents when under greats amount of stress.

Maude and Pinkie as INTJ and ENFP respectively make sense because even though at a glance they seemingly have nothing in common, they respect and understand each other more than Pinkie's friends seem to.  INTJ and ENFP are supposedly a very compatible combination.

Also, INTJ's are stereotypically deadpan and can be described as robotic. Maude is that way far more than Twilight.  ISTJs are known for being hard workers and obsessed with organization and schedules.  Definitely Twilight. Both types can be academic, and Maude is definitely academic an knowledgeable about her passion for rocks. :P

I feel like I could explain this better, but it's late and I need to go to bed. Maybe I'll expound on this later.

  8. I thought Amending Fences was a good concept but Moon Dancer's complete meltdown over one pony not showing up to her party (one with an antisocial reputation at that) was mellow dramatic and I couldn't buy it. Especially considering how famous Twilight is at this point. Wasn't it know what she was doing the day of Moon Dancer's party? (Saving Equestria).

I thought Ra Ra's voice in Mane Attraction wasn't that good, though the song was well written.

I have no interest in Equestia Girls. I gave it a shot. I don't like it.

I loved Tanks for the Memories,

  9. The only thing I really gather from her is that she's an only child. (Though I could be wrong) That's part of why Rainbow Dash being her sister is so important to her. We know she doesn't have a sister. She probably doesn't have a brother either because if she'd probably be less reliant on Rainbow. I never got the impression she was an orphan or homeless. Nothing implies that. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy's family members are never mentioned. (Heck, we just now find out the possibility of Fluttershy having a brother after 5 seasons). Who knows what the rest of her family is, like or Rainbows.  I just don't understand where the orphan and homeless head canons came from.

  10. I'm so glad they ventured away from what Showstoppers strongly hinted at. This is much more interesting, it keeps them able to retain t heir Cutie Mark Crusader title (it's not about getting Cutie Marks now it's about helping others understand the true meaning behind theirs) and even though they're all the same shape it does have individual pictures that represents each of them. I thought the episode was great, if not perfect. I have no real complaints with it and it was my favorite of the season.

I have to wonder though, are we going to explore any more of Sweetie Bell's singing talents. She sang Hush Now Quiet Now and that showcased her as the best singer but really all of them are equally good singers when they sing together. Scootaloo sang badly in Show Stoppers but Sweetie Bell sounded terrible singing 99 Barrels of Oats on the Wall or whatever it was in Sleepless in Ponyville. I know she was just screaming it, same as Scootaloo was in her song but really Sweetie Bell hasn't really stood out as being much of a singer above the rest.
