    I don't really like Thorax. He seem too wimpy and fragile (but I guess that's the only thing that makes him Thorax), and I thought changelings had a distorted voice when they're not disguised, to distinguish them. I guess he's either changed his voice to fit him or all changelings talk normally, in which case, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
     
    I was thinking of making an Abdomen Fan Club in Sugarcube Corner making fun of Thorax but then I realized the mods have to approve the thread, so that wasn't going to go anywhere.
     
    But seriously, do you guys want an Abdomen Fan Club? Make our own head-cannon changeling parodying Thorax or something?

    I don't know why, but whenever I make a comment in the Life Advice section, it feels like I'm not doing a good enough job, that I'm making the situation worse just by being there. That I don't know how to be serious and when I try to I end up ruining lives.
     
    If I want to post there I feel terrible doing it because I either feel like I'm ruining the section just by posting it there, that it's not something that should go there, or that I shouldn't have people online help me solve my "problems" because you shouldn't trust anyone on the internet.

    A lot of people seem to hate Season Six. It's not as good as the older episodes. They're messing up the value of alicorns. All that crap.
    So, let's actually sit down and take a look at when MLP jumped the shark.
    wait what the heck does that mean
    "Jumping the shark", according to Wikipedia, means, "an idiom popularized by Jon Hein that was used to describe the moment in the evolution of a television show when it begins a decline in quality, signaled by a particular scene, episode, or aspect of a show in which the writers use some type of gimmick in an attempt to keep viewers' interest, which is taken as a sign of desperation, and is seen by viewers to be the point at which the show strayed irretrievably from its original formula." Basically, the show does something so outlandish or desperate that the show starts to degrade in quality. This comes from the show Happy Days where a main character literally jumps a shark on water skis. Seriously.
    case 1: it's all a conspiracy
    Maybe MLP:FIM actually sucks. Maybe Lauren Faust was only in it to get people to want to love it because it's Lauren Faust. Maybe this is all a plot by Hasbro to make as many people as possible buy toys, so they get the best people in the business to make a good show to get people to buy toys. Hasbro has won. They can do whatever they want with the show, but every brony still wants the show to be awesome. People still buy toys. People still buy merch. Because Hasbro has won the mind game. Take a red pill guys. Spread the word. Let the tru-*dies*
    Yeah, it's silly, but it could be a possibility.
    case 2: when Lauren left the show
    This isn't really a case of "jumping the shark", but it could be a point where the show started to suck. Of course! Lauren Faust left! Our lord and savior left the show, so the show became crap!
    Though, some say that it's good that Lauren left the show, because then the show could cover more topics in more different and complex ways than Lauren did. What do you think?
    case 3: when Twee-lee Sparkle-Corn became a princess
    This is classic jump-the-shark material. "LOOK GUYS! THE MAIN CHARACTER BECAME A PRINCESS!!! BUY OUR TOYS!!!" Many bronies complained about this when it first aired. There was even a petition to change the canon back. This so far makes the most sense as a "jumping the shark" moment.
    case 4: when Twilight fought Tirek in the Season 4 finale
    That fight scene was awesome, wasn't it? It seemed more like a Dragonball Z scene than a MLP scene! Yet, maybe that scene was too great. The staff made something so good, so great, that they possibly can't make anything better than that. Plus, with the blatant market-ism of Twi's new castle, they already went downhill in the same episode! Jump-the-shark material maybe?
    case 5: when Starlight Glimmer was redeemed
    It could have been done better. Why does everypony all of a sudden forgive Starlight? She did some pretty messed up things! You can't just do a complete 180 and expect everyone to accept you for what you are now. Yet, that's exactly what happened. "Friendship", right? Everything is not rainbows and sunshine. If you make mistakes, you have to live with them. Everyone involved will too, and it will take a long time to make up for that. The Season 5 finale completely jumped over that fact and basically said, "Even if you did terrible things, everyone will immediately love you if you stop doing it!" No. That's not how life works.
    case 5.5: the whole of Slice of Life
    "Hey guys, we know that bronies exist! Let's make an episode about the background characters and put a bunch of memes in it! Everypony loves that!"
    case 6: maybe it's just us
    Maybe we're all just a bunch of nitpicks, criticizing every single thing about the show because we had our own dreams of where it would go, and now they're ruined. You have to understand, the people working on this are human too. They have their own visions, and just because they're not what you have doesn't mean you have every right to bash them. If it's a good episode but not what you expected, don't bash them just because it wasn't what you wanted. Look at the episode by itself and compared to the episodes from the rest of the season. This show has evolved over the years. You have to accept that. I'm not saying though you can't criticize an episode. I'm just saying that criticizing it just because it's not what you wanted the show to go is self-centered and makes you look like what all the anti-bronies think you are.

    Well, today I am here to show you:

    It seemed like a good idea, but now when I look at it... No. Just no. No with extra no sauce.
    Maybe because in my head I had the music to go with it, and all my songs are extravagant rock songs, so... IDK.
    Maybe also this other song I made:

    It seemed like a cool concept song, but that's all it is: a concept song.     There seems to be a pattern. Whenever I think of a cool concept, once I put it down, I realize it's crap. I don't know why. Maybe the execution is bad? Maybe the idea is just bad? I don't know.
     
    So here's another idea that may be terrible:
    Making a video on Autism.
    I tried it a couple times before, and even though they were popular, they were terrible, so I took them down.
    This time though, I'll try to clean up my act and be professional.
    But will it still be crap? Is this world not ready for people affected by Autism to talk about Autism, even though they have been though Autism their entire lives?
    Again, IDK.
    But it may be a funny story to tell.

    That's the danger of putting information about yourself on the internet.
    So, I'm not using the Life Advice section at all any time soon. Even though I might need it, here's why I won't use it:
    Why would I trust strangers? I would need to go to my parents or a certified professional (a social worker) to get any good advice. The more information I put out there, the more I am putting myself in danger. If I try to tip-toe it, I could easily be influenced to tip-toe more and more and more until I eventually give out all strangers need to rape me.

    So, sorry MLPForums, but you are not a choice to talk about my problems.
    Hopefully. I may forget this whole post and post another one about IRL stuff anyway.
    But I will deal with that when the time comes.

    I haven't posted in a long while.

    So anyways, here's what's been happening in my lifu in the past week or so:
    School. Went to Klondike. It was meh. Got a Mountain House entree for Klondike. Ate it at Klondike. It was really good. After getting the Mountain House, went to Checkers, tried out with my dad the 2 for $4 Double Mushroom Swissburgers (which were really good), the Chicken Bites (which were good), and the Fry Lover's Fry (which was awesome). Overall, Checkers gets a 10 outa 10.

    The picture above shows a comment interaction by a guy who didn't like my silly guide about CS:GO's new ranks.
    It had a freaking PONY as the title picture. Of course it's going to be a little satirical.
     
    So, he acts a little salty. That's fine. But, he acts like he's Jesus and I'm just some twelve-year-old who drank too much Mountain Dew Game Fuel or something. And I never even tried that crap. I don't want to.
    It gets annoying.
     
    But hey, the world isn't a wish-making factory.
     
    P.S. The first person to get that reference in the last paragraph right will get a picture of my attempt at redrawing their profile pic. Oh boy here we go.

    Here's our problem with all of these big-name companies making MLP games:

    Let's be honest, Hasbro is probably going to restrict all official MLP games to be E-rated to appeal to the youngest audience as possible. The last time they made "movies" for MLP, they dumbed it down to appeal to the biggest audience, because it's not on TV, it's in store shelves. Kids don't have free access to that MLP stuff like they do (kinda) on TV. They have to buy it and watch it. The reason this stuff is bogged down is because Hasbro is trying to appeal to the young audience that the show was originally intended for, and still makes a considerable portion of the show's audience.

    Having a big-name game company famous for creating fantastic M-rated games (Hasbro, Rockstar, etc.) will turn off parents because they have a reputation for M-rated games. Even if the game is E-rated, you can expect some more adult references to be in the game to appeal to everyone but little kids (the kids won't get it), and some parents will be paranoid and think the whole game will be like that.

    Or maybe I'm just rambling. IDK. The point is, the game is probably gonna be EG-level of dumbed-down-ness, so you're all probably not going to get the game you want.

    One last thing: Fan games made for MLP that is NOT strictly child-friendly will likely not be accepted by Hasbro. If you try to talk to them about licensing your game, they won't accept it if it is over an E/E-10 rating in content. A fighting game? Nope. A pony dies? Nope. Any adult content will be refused, and a good portion of your game ideas will be rejected because it's not kid-friendly.

    A.K.A why I hate having my jimmies rustled vocally in MLPForums.
    Because I feel like a lot of people may think, "Lonk is just making this all up. It's all because he wants attention."
    And while the latter is true (kinda), the former isn't.
     
    I do want attention for what I do. I want people to look at it and give their opinion, no matter how crap it is and no matter how salty it is. It may influence me for the worst, but I want feedback. I don't want people to ignore me.
     
    The thing is, I am overly pessimistic. If things don't go the way I wanted it too, I think it's going to stay that way for the end of time. And when I goof up, I get mad at myself for goofing up. Overly mad. Overly. Ove-
    I guess the reason I try not to take much seriously is because if I do, it's all the more easier for me to go into a state of, well, depression.
     
    This should go in the Life Advice section. I know that.
    I shouldn't even post this because all the predators looking for young teens in brony forums will be so happy to find their next target. I know that.
     
    I don't even know why I draw. Most of the time I hate the work I put out. But as they say, you are your worst critic. If people like my derpy chibi art style, I guess I should do more of it.

    It seems like everyone is hating on Season Six huh? Never knew about that. Apparently @onlyone knows though:

    It's depressing to see a person who loves something get constantly, well, depressed by the majority of people he/she thought were his/her friends bash on the thing he/she has been loving all this time.
    It's not fair.
    So I posted this to comfort him/her:
    I then thought about it more. This is messed up. And I think I know the reason why this is all happening:
    Is that post going to get deleted? Yes, most certainly, because I'm criticizing people. You can't do that. That's harassment according to YouTube!
    Is this blog post going to get deleted? Probably yes, for the same reasons.
    But do I really care? I don't think so. I'm just voicing my opinion about this whole situation. It's screwed up.

    So, if you don't know, I have two YouTub channels. One's called lonkfania, where I do gaming.
    And the other one's called PeeDeeDee.
    Where... um... everything else happens.
     
    So that's where I put my tutorials.

    Let's go back in time to 2014, where the first tutorial I ever made on YouTub appeared:


    Cringe. Whole-grain cringe with extra pre-puberty sauce.
    Not only that, but the video isn't that great at teaching the basics of PowerDirector 12, to be honest.
    Did you know I was using PD12 since 2014? God, I'm old.
    To add to the halarity, he channel I put it on only has three subs. Myself, and two other buddies of mine.  
    So now let's go into the present, where I uploaded my second-ever tutorial, and the first-ever one on PeeDeeDee:


    The thumbnail makes no sense. That's the point. I guess.
    It's about PowerDirector 12 (again), but this time it's a tutorial on how to make an object spin really fast (a technique I abused back in the day). 
    Then the GIMP tutorials popped up. This one titled "HOW TO PAINT SOME HAPPY LITTLE THUMBNAILS". The mocking, satiristic, caps-locked titles became a reoccuring trend.


    This was coinciding with my "GO:CS part dos" video and its crazy, unprofessional thumbnail:

    So, the tutorial got its own thumnail:

    I liked both of the videos so much I put them on Reddit.
    A terrible mistake.
    GO:CS part dos has 7 dislikes so far.
    HOW TO PAINT SOME HAPPY LITTLE THUMBNAILS has 3. We combated that with 2 likes, but... the dislikes are still there.
    Oh well. Life happens. 
    The next tutorials were for Steam:

    I found it in my "PD Videos" folder where all my finished videos went. I decided to upload it for no reason what so ever.

    This is the worst thumbnail I've done for this series. Worst. No contest. I want to change it. But I won't. I'm lazy.

    Sorry I haven't posted much on here. No idea why honestly.
    So, some updates:
     
    1. Three people in my school has been implicitly told by me about my bronydom. One said I would be sacrificed to the sun gods, and I said "Which sun god? There's a lot." I then proceded to mention Ra and Princess Celestia. When they laughed at me listing Celestia in there, I said, "She's technically a sun god." Then one of them said, "How do you know all this stuff? Does your sister watch MLP?" "No..." I state. They then ask me if I'm a brony. I shrug my shoulders. Then one of them held up a ruler and a pencil and put them in a cross. I laughed at that.
    They never mentioned it again. I'm not sure it's going to stay that way, but as far as I know they expect only anything from me so they just shrugged it off. So tada.
