I'm old, so I'm hopeless at looking stuff up.  Just wondering if there has been any announcements on things like

Any idea when the season starts? (Spring, or next Fall)

How many episodes? (BIG clue about how long the series will last) 

26 episodes like every other season, except season 3.

twilight sent the fiends back into the pond, which is a sentient creature who creates duplicates and patterns there personalities after the person who stepped into the pond. twilight simply returned some of the ponds mystic water.

she was destined to be a alicorn from the moment she was born, she is magic incarnate and she should be overpowered. eventually she should become the most powerful pony in equestria. I cant stand hearing people say starlight is more powerful, its not that I don't like starlight as a character, its just that showing her as more powerful than twilight spits in the face of canon and continuity! starlights talent is nullification magic, not all magic like twilight.

Like a Necromancer or a voodoo pony? Yeah that'll be cool. Especially since there are some people who said they saw the "Slendermane" in the background of a scene in "Pinkie Apple Pie" not sure if the creators are planning to do anything with that though. 

a necromancer dark lord pony, kinda like sauron would be cool. he could summon undead alicorns . also,I know this isn't exactly like what your talking about, but id like to see some berserker pony magic. the ponies would get super strong and have red glowing eyes and attack everything around them.

FIM isnt ending, and I hope it goes for 10 seasons. I cant see any new show living up to FIM's standard. when GEN 5 comes( hopefully years from now) I hope they stay in the same universe and the mane 6 make appearances, with twilight as the ruler of equestria.

In the S1 finale, The Best Night Ever, Spike mentions wanting to show AJ the princess's golden apple tree.

they have GOLDEN APPLES! I KNEW IT! I KNEW NORSE MYTHOLOGY WAS IN THIS SHOW! THE TREE IS YGGDRASIL! THERE ARE DWARF PONIES! MAGICAL AXES SHALL RAIN FROM VALHALLA! ( does a jig of happiness)

spike is the male character! do not besmirch spikes manliness! if anybody should be considered as part of the mane 7 its spike, not starlight or some other new male pony.

give us a true evil villain! and as a bonus let him beat up starlight glimmer while twilight saves the day.

alicorns are far more powerful than the average pony. luna could destroy all of equestrian with just her dreams, that seems pretty overpowered. also chrysalis is a dark alicorn. twilight is not overpowered as she has not mastered her magic and has quite frankly slacked off in her study of magic. I hope twilight learns more magic in season 6.

we have seen that earth ponies can perform some magic as seen by zecora, so would you wanna see some other earth ponies do magic. I think it would be cool to see more alchemist zebras/east equestrians or, (and this would be soooo awesome) rune enchanting dwarf ponies! little Shetland ponies with beards that make enchanted items! please post thoughts.

see, the tablet is a perfect candidate to be the time stone. the mcu has already turned less plausible things into infinity stones( visions solar gem) the tablet has many of the same powers as the stone. also for you true believers reading this, the mcu version of the tablet has inscribed upon it these words, THOSE WHO SIT ABOVE IN SHADOW. if your a true thor fan you should know what that means.

Well, in Princess Twilight (Season 4 pilot) the Tree of Harmony was shown to be the source of the Elements of Harmony.  Their absence weakened it & so T returned them to the Tree.  Supposedly, this strengthened the Tree, but maybe not enough.

the elements being returned may stave of the destruction but eventually something bad is gonna happen if the mane 6 don't do something. according to my theory

I think minions are very funny and the movie was awesome.

metalmane the magesmith can be very egotistical about his inventions.( he made himself a magical rune engraved metal horn that can do magic and metal flying wings!)

This was an amazing finale for Season 5! Starlight Glimmer staying the antagonist until the end was a great idea, it allowed her the time any cunning antagonist needs to plot their revenge. The alternate realities show that friendship really is magic and the fate of Equestria depends on the friendship between ponies. Starlight started to accept that after Twilight showed her the last future and offered another chance. It wasn't a Cutie Mark that stole her friend, Sunjerk was just being a jerk if he abandoned her like that. The humor was funny as well with Pinkie eating that cake when nopony was looking. I'm glad Starlight can start over and I hope to see her return in Season 6. Especially to see how having stronger magic than even Alicorn Twilight will affect the story. She can learn how to use it responsibly like Discord not spreading chaos when there are no more Elements of Harmony. Now I just need Lightning Dust to get redeemed.

SHE IS NOT MORE POWERFUL THAN TWILIGHT! starlights special talent is nullification magic as evidenced by her cutie mark (which clearly shows magic being sucked from a cutie mark) and her ability to remove cutie marks. the reason she could stand up to twilight is because she dampened twilights magic until they were equals, perhaps she did it subconsciously, I don't know but I am going to be angry if she is shown as more powerful than the princess of magic herself.

As well-written and convincing as that theory is, there's one issue I have with it: The alternate timeline in question was caused by Starlight Glimmer being sucked into the time portal along with Twilight Sparkle, meaning that it was most likely the lack of Starlight Glimmer's presence that caused it. However, if it's possible to be in multiple places at the same time in the MLP:FiM universe (which could be possible, seeing as it did happen to a lesser degree in It's About Time and Too Many Pinkie Pies), then the theory could work. Still, it seems too convenient and I find it hard to believe that all of Equestria could go to total waste in the time span of less than a season (although this is the same show that gave us Magical Mystery Cure, in which Ponyville turned into a total mess overnight).

 if, as I believe, the tree of harmony is a magical lock keeping a great evil at bay, then the movie villain theory makes perfect sense.tree of harmony would stay intact as long as there is more harmony than chaos, but if there was more chaos than harmony the tree would be destroyed or turn into the tree of disharmony, loosing the great evil locked beneath. each time the timeline was changed to repair itself the multiverse created a new universe was created mirroring that timeline. unfortunately the table was connected to each of these new universes and if the table was connected then so is the tree, for the tree created the table. since the tree is now connected to those chaotic universes the balance of the universe shifted, releasing the great evil. if my theory is correct then in the show the tree of harmony shall be destroyed or turned evil and in the movie this evil being will come forth, for the tree of harmony is still connected to the chaotic universes! ALAS! equestrias last days may be at hand!
