  1. I've got 5 from what I remember. -Sonic Beats (also an alias I used to put out a terrible rap about Octavia because I once thought I was a decent rapper) -Bass Clef (An OC I used for quite a long time in a futuristic Equestria for Facebook Roleplaying that I am sadly no longer part of, but can provide links for other FB roleplay pages!) -Sapphire Lightning (Recently also accepted for the EqE RP here) -Mythic Fashion (Haven't made her backstory yet, but she'll have a lot of elements I have myself) -Genn Krellion (OC made to bring more into Bass Clef's story) I was mainly a facebook page roleplayer, and will always be a facebook roleplayer if I can find more pony pages to RP with, but I'm open to pretty well anything with any of my OC's. I make backstories for characters without one as I go, and roleplay it out., Feels much more natural.
  2. Happy Hearth's Warming everypony. My blind bag collection increased by 6 lol.

  3. It's been effectively edited with the required fixes. As far as I knew, I thought Dam was a father pony. I was mistaken as I did more research.
  4. I'll fix these relatively quickly. Just in the middle of ranked on League of Legends.
  5. To be quite honest, amancia, it's not that the show wasn't originally intended for males, as I believe the creator of Friendship is Magic made the show specifically to break gender norms as far as childrens cartoons are involved. People viewed G1 ponies as exceptionally girly, and for good reason. With Friendship is Magic, gender norms changed. The ponies were no longer exceptionally girly, and to show this, I present to you Rainbow Dash. Quite obviously the tomboy of the group. Not only that, but the message is resonant throughout the show that gender shouldn't matter whether or not you enjoy something. They make that message painfully obvious, and Tara Strong did an excellent job with it. Defying gender norms isn't exactly what the Brony community should be attributed with, nor do I believe that's why people see us, however I do believe it is a significant part of why people view the Brony stereotype so terribly. For years, if you looked at things like little boys playing with Barbie dolls, or little girls playing with Tonka trucks, you'd swap them and say "This is what you were meant to play with, trucks are for boys and dolls are for girls." Adult males, especially ones with children that watch the show prove that there is more to the community in ways of defying gender norms, because they teach their children to love themselves not only for what they enjoy, but for the differences that make them special, much like the ponies cutie marks make them different from the other ponies. No one person can be set apart as more important than another, because everyone has their own special talents. Everyone has their own way of enjoying something, whether it be girls and cars, or boys and the color pink. I may have gotten sidetracked with that answer, and I do apologize, but I believe you brought up a valid question, and I feel as if your question would be best answered in a recorded discussion. Something of which I'd like to actually do for a Twitch talk show, to maybe add to YouTube or in a podcast style thing one day, and I invite all those interested to message me. Maybe we can get something going.
  6. Awesome! Thanks! This was one of my favorite profiles to write up out of all my current OC's.
  7. Well, the questions were much appreciated. They got me thinking into a much larger scale of detail that I was lacking when I wrote it last night. There will be frequent updates and I hope other ponies come in with questions, because questions fuel my creativity.
  8. Thanks you two for the warm welcome. I'm loving the community so far, and am currently waiting for my OC to be accepted into the EqE roleplay area. I feel it'll be much better for me once I get roleplaying.
  9. Yeah, characters. My bad. Will change it when I get on my pc. Excellent questions Hederik, and while I'm going to answer them fully and honestly, I feel obligated to remind you that it is in planning, so I'm subject to change things as I see fit. My initial drafts of things like this tend to change once or twice, sometimes more depending on when I wrote it, how I think things are fitting properly, and what I believe I need to remove. So here are answers to your questions without further adieu. 1. Well, we still do not know from the show how long each race of pony lives, therefore mention of the princesses, Lyra, Ponyville and the like are mentioned solely on the premise that they live an exceptionally lengthy lifespan. Most of Equestria remains the same, of course to a certain extent many lives have been changed by the afformentioned mysterious force. Some of the larger changes would include Canterlot having much stricter security, Manehattan takes on a different role from just a high society feel, politics are generally at a standstill over an agreement proposed in order to keep the values instilled from the time the show seems to be temporarily frozen in. As for the canon-playing roleplayers potential, they are encouraged to cover the back stories of the characters, but they really don't have to. This is up for discussion, as it's something that many canon-playing roleplayers may have an issue with. 2. There will be an index, notable through a Google Doc in order to rule out what isn't allowed, and what is approved, consistently updated as ideas are accepted and revoked due to the understanding that things will get complicated quickly with a system like this in place. The same tech will be available across Equestria due to a mutual effort to unite Equestria without further alienation from the main areas that will most likely be much more used than others. These being Canterlot, Manehattan, Ponyville, Appleoosa, with shops to stock commonly needed parts and materials. While it would be true that every region would be developing independently on different projects or areas of expertise, a treaty from the Princesses gives entrance to a share of that information among each region. As for the question about the extent of which the different techs should be unified, I'd like to ask you to elaborate on that a little bit, as I do not understand the question entirely. 3. Bass Clef's story was done on the premise that Equestria had advanced. However, when looking into the possibility of other countries expanding to the advancements made in Equestria, we cannot be sure of, hence why the areas Clef went into seemed to be underdeveloped, and rather crude in comparison to Equestrian ideology and technology. It was rare to see a pony on that side of the Equestrian Sea, and even when he did, there was a backstory to Genn Krelion that I did not include, as the time I spent playing out the story of Bass Clef with the 3 other people involved took just over 3 days of planning before we had even gotten past it. As for the mix of tech, and the appearance of architecture, it was more of a move with acceptance by the Princesses (kind of known to be the main source of power and Government in Equestria, which is why they're so often referenced) to preserve tradition. Not all regions of Equestria are practicing space travel, but in that regard, they're all capable of sending ponies to the capitols in order to train for space travel. It can be looked at much of how we look at space travel in our world. No region has multitudes of NASA-esque facilities to continually launch shuttles. We outsource it to one facility, much of which is to be expected to be the same in an Equestrian space age. 4. I'm inclined to remove the PvP system, as the algorithm I had in order to figure out battle damage has disappeared off my portable hard drive. I had an entire system based on a set of skill points and upgrades. I'm going to use the fallout SPECIAL system as an example, because it's the best example I can think of. Everyone participating was going to get a set number of points to spread into their trees, and missions would give them more points to spend at a fixed point, dependant on difficulty of the mission, and participation factor. All battles would have been expected to be roleplayed to their entirety using the results of the "rolls" so to speak. If the need for a system arises, I'll gladly revamp it and re-release it, but as for now, I don't see any need for it and will be redacting it in the original post. 5. To make it clear, I didn't give the creation of a ship, crew and photo a mandatory tag. It's allowed, but not mandatory. No one has to go into space if they feel it takes away from their story, or takes a hit on the story in general. It's an option I was looking at, and it's becoming clear it may complicate the story too much for me to keep in. The starting point I had in mind for everypony was the abduction. They roleplay out their abduction if they decided it was in their characters books for this story to be abducted. It's not so much as pre-arranged, as I felt it would have added spice to a story that could have been potentially dull without it. One pony getting abducted and pulling a handful into the mix with him just seems rude. On top of that, I did say mysterious force, but I did in no way mention that it is an alien race. We don't know the exact limit of magic in Equestria, what with Twilight being able to poof teleport to another location however far away, and now Starlight Glimmer using a time reversal spell in order to change the course of history from Starswirls original spell. Missions in and of themselves were to be requested and given out on approval of a squad of a minimum of 2 ponies, but beings I'm redacting the PvP encounters, and the potential of redacting the space portion, I may redact missions as well and see how ponies can roleplay in an almost limitless universe with highly upgraded tech and the ability to use imaginations to showcase what they can do. I will still be keeping an index on allowances of weaponry, armor, etc just for the simple case of value. 6. I did list 12 slots, because I feel that 12 slots may indeed be a lot, but as this is going to be open to applications even while in motion, I'd give a high allowance of players. I plan to take it out of planning phase before I launch anyways. As you can tell, this is a rather largescale RP that I'm planning. I need to flesh out everything before I give the go-ahead to begin. I'd also like to note that I linked the story of Bass Clef as a background because the universe I had RP'd him in had been much of the same as what I'm trying to create here, minus a few key details that I've opted to leave out due to the rules of the site. However, if you have any further questions I will answer them to the best of my ability while I try to look into editing the post a little more to take away and add what I need to. Thanks for the consideration, and the questions, Hederik.
  10. Concept "Equestria has advanced not only in technology, but in Unicorn magic as well. Leaps and bounds in these advancements allow for things unseen in Equestria for things such as space expeditions, weaponry, and time/spacial anomalies. Though these advancements exist, a universal agreement was made to keep the original designs of buildings as they were before new tech came into play. A mysterious force orchestrates a mass abduction plot, with reasons known only to the ponies the entity abducts placing them in lands unseen. Missions across Equestria, or past the Equestrian Sea are to be expected. Expeditions into space will be few, but needed. Will you take the step in order to find out what this entity wants?" From laser weapons (think Mass Effect) to stasis rooms where time slows to a near halt, the sky is the limit. If you can think of the tech, or somewhat import it from a space-age type medium, it's most likely able to be used or seen in this universe. Equestria is facing a new force of evil, one of which had never been seen before. It comes as a mist, abducting ponies and dropping them in strange, unseen lands beyond the Equestrian sea. It's up to these ponies what they do to survive and make it home. One pony by the name of Bass Clef had such a tale. Each pony is taken with certain intent, all of which is to be discussed privately between myself and the pony whom wishes to be abducted for the story. Bass Clef's story : Please read in order to gain a feel for the type of RP will be expected here. The Rules Alicorns are barred from this roleplay. Exceptions made for canon Princesses (ie. Cadance, Twilight, Luna, Celestia) Mecha ponies are barred from this roleplay. Due to the nature of Mechs, upgrades and the type of tech needed to make a Mech would be too powerful for this. Autonomous armor will be accepted upon strict review. God-modding will not be accepted. A system will be put in place for battles between two roleplayers, however, battles between NPC's will be roleplayed out. Weapons are accepted in all forms, minus nuclear weaponry. Nuclear weaponry is considered far too powerful for this universe and will not be acceptable. Housing mods are to be reviewed, and allowed upon approval. Ships for intergalactic travel are allowed, however photos will need to be approved. Missions must be put in for approval Other Important Information Missions: Any and all missions will be given out on approval. Each mission will require no less than 2 in a crew, and will be subject to a separate RP in the IC thread in which they mission crew report to their respective Officer. Ships: You can have an NPC crew, but the NPC's cannot be over the top. Think Normandy crew. Autonomous Armor: To a certain extend, autonomous mod armor can be used, but cannot be full body, much like the Power Armor of Fallout. Weaponry: Simple. No nuclear weaponry. To Apply For This RP Post your character page in a comment below, and tell me why you believe you could be an integral part of this roleplay. As an advanced roleplay, your posts must be lengthy and descriptive to better describe how things are being done. Actions speak louder than words, but words are all we can really use in here. Explain what kind of weaponry you'd use, whether or not you're interested in the war-type storyline, or whether you want to take a peaceful stance during the roleplay. I'd like to see at minimum 1000 characters on how you plan on making your character fit within the universe. If your character is a canon character, explain how you wish to fit a canon character into a universe like this. 11. Thanks a bunch! I'm getting along quite well thus far, and I'm actually gearing up to begin typing up a concept for an open roleplay for the Everfree Empire with an OC I've had since I started watching MLP while I await acceptance on my Equestria Empire OC. If you're into RP, which I believe a fair amount of people here are, feel free to send a message! Planning this is going to be fairly large and I wouldn't mind feedback over time!

  13. Ah, you're military. Yeah, that's not a hurdle you want to mess with, and I don't blame you at all.
  14. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you seem rather exceptional. Currently I'm watching your latest video, and so far I'm impressed! Have you thought about bringing out a podcast style show to go into lengthy discussions with more than just yourself on topics such as those? As for RP, I'm open to whatever, whenever. I love it, and actually began starting to write a solo RP on one of my Facebook pages that I ended up unintentionally abandoning because life got in the way. Hah. I'll PM you. You seem like someone I'll get along with quite well!
  15. Quite bored at the moment, wishing I had a colored version of my avatar.

  16. I understand this may be kicking a dead thread, but I may be able to lend my voice if needed still. Add me on Skype if you wish to talk in detail. OdiumGaming.
  17. It's hard to deal with the legal issues, especially with handmade crafts. However, there are ways around it. Especially since you say you've been wanting to do OC cutie marks. But once you're able to open up commissions again, let me know!
  18. Thank you very much for the kind welcome! So far it's been warm and exceptional. I can't wait to see how things pan out.
  19. It all started with me moving to Ponyville. Lyra was the first pony I had met, and to be honest, we hit it off rather well. We went on a great date and everything, and it wasn't too long after that that I had been torn away from her, and everything else here in Ponyville. My house was left pretty well abandoned and all my belongings sold off because everypony thought I left without warning, and Lyra moved on. It's odd, you know. Being pulled away in the middle of the night, by some unknown force. I didn't even know I'd been moved until I woke up in the middle of some gigantic forest. *He laughs* I find it funny though, because I used to be a simple Stallion. I used to play the bass. You know, the classical instrument? About twice the size of a cello. It used to mean everything to me until I woke up, realizing I was thousands upon thousands of miles away from Ponyville. *He looksup and smiles* I'd been walking for about 2 days. I didn't want to sleep, probably because my adrenaline had been driving me to find at least a hint of civilization. Once I finally broke free of the what felt like never-ending trees, I'd stumbled upon a rather quaint looking village. I figured I may as well check it out, because somepony there may be able to help me. That's when I met those odd creatures.....*He lets out a small laugh, remembering them* They called their species, monkey. They had tails and what they had called hands. It was odd though, because their feet could be used as those hand things as well. Hands, as it turns out, were used to grab and hold things, much like we do, but they can wrap what they call fingers around whatever it is they touch, grab, or what they feel like doing. It's odd, as I'd previously pointed out. Anyway, as I had gotten into the village, there were a couple ponies there as well. One stallion in particular took a liking to me. He was a swordmaster. He was the one, actually, who had trained me. Who had taught me the basics and a few advanced techniques in order to defend myself on my journey home. His name was Genn Krellion, and the ponies and monkeys in this village were quite fond of him. Apparently he'd saved their village from something. Everypony and the monkeys wouldn't explain what it was. Every time I had asked, they'd shy away from the subject, asking where I was from, or let out a rather shrill scream that sent Genn running, no matter where he was at the time. Actually, it was these monkeys who had created my sword. The engraving you see in the blade was done by them. They say it says 'Bravery'. It wasn't even my choice to have it engraved on the so-called 'hand' crafted blade. They'd done it, because they said it takes much bravery to even try to go back after such a scarring incident. The blade though, was created from a process they called folding. They would literally fold the metal they use to create the blade, superheat it, and repeat until they felt the blade was strong enough. I believe it turned out beautifully. Not long after I'd received the blade, I figured it was time to head out. As I was leaving the village, one of the mares there came running to me. She'd given me the cloak hanging in the living room. That tattered brown one? I'm sure you had noticed it when you first entered. Leaving the village with the sword, a few rations and the newly acquired cloak, I had set out on my journey home. Genn told me I wasn't even in the lands of Equestria anymore, that I was across the Equestrian sea, so I had to go north in order to get to the sea, obtain a boat and get home. The journey to the sea wasn't too long, lucky for me. It was however, very boring, and rather cold so I was grateful for the cloak that was given to me. Upon arriving on the shores, there was a boat already set up for me. Genn had taken care of so much for me while I trained and learned how these monkeys functioned every day. The journey across the sea was rather uneventful as well, because nothing really happens on the Equestrian sea, since the Pegasi keep it rather clear over the water when they spot a boat or other vessel on the water. It was about 4 days until I arrived on the shores of Equestria. This was when I set out towards Ponyville. Seeing a small shack near the sandy shore, I had asked the Stallion and Mare there for a look at a map since I hadn't known where I was. I had ended up on the shores in a place called Bad Wolf Bay, and from what I understood, there was a rather mean pack of wolves roaming the area I had to watch out for. Needless to say, it wasn't long after that I'd run into them, their pack leader demanding I give them the possessions I had on myself. This is where things began to get interesting as I drew my sword. These damned wolves had me surrounded. The Stallion I had talked to was right. They didn't fight fair. They fought with the rest of their pack, or not at all. Little did they know that I had been trained in sword combat, and even though the numbers they had were staggering to my single figure, they really had no chance in defeating me due to their tendency to attack in single numbers to try to wear me down. That is, until I'd seen what they called their 'pet' walk out of the shadows.... They had a damned Manticore! This thing had armour on, which I could only guess was forged by a skilled armour-smith. I knew I'd have one hell of a battle on my hooves at this point. Getting up on my hind legs, I'd placed my sword in my front hooves and lowered my stance to get the most speed I could. This was when the wolves decided to make their attacks more frequent. The wolf directly behind me had pounced to try to take out my hind legs, while the one directly in front of me went straight for my throat. I jumped, avoiding the first wolf, bringing down my back right hoof and smashing into his skull as my sword cut deep into the wolf attacking me from the front. Next thing I knew, the two on either side of me went on the offensive as well going at me from both sides, but the mistake they made was trying to lunge at me while I was in a control position in the battle. Swinging my sword over my head, horizontally, I caught the wolf to my right off guard, killing him instantly by digging my blade into the back of his neck, while the one to my left dodged and was now in front of me, ready to attack again. This stand off was what had my nerves spun right out. I had taken down the other three just out of sheer instinct. They were no problem, but the one I was facing now clearly had studied my moves as I took down his companions and judging by his teeth, the growling, and his eyes, he was pissed. I took the chance, lunging towards him, sword at my side and ready to strike as he began to sprint towards me. As I ran, I kept thinking to myself 'This is suicide! This wolf is insane! He should know he's going to die!' Little did I know, his plan had already been set in motion. As I swiped, he dodged, and the Manticore hit me from my left side sending me flying into a tree. I'd broken 3 ribs on that impact and I could barely stand, let alone breathe. The wolf had retreated and the Manticore was closing in on me fast. I didn't have much time to think, and the adrenaline decided to seemingly go into overdrive at that point. Somehow I had gotten up, charged the Manticore, swinging my sword horizontally, cutting off it's tail, circling around, and striking at the Manticore head on with a vertical slice to it's stomach as it had reared up getting ready to strike a heavy blow from above, killing it. I was laying there after killing the dreaded Manticore, battered and bloody. My broken ribs throbbed every time I had moved, but I knew there was nothing I could do without the help of a skilled medic. The wolf whom had fled had decided to come back, and was circling me in the darkness....studying me, just watching me. It was nerve wracking. I was scared, because even though I'd just killed a Manticore, I was beat down, battered and broken. I could barely move through the pain, let alone fight! The wolf was growling, just circling me in the darkness just out of the view of my eyes. I could hear every step though, and that's when I came up with a plan. I knew that, no matter what I did, I had to survive. I had to get back to Ponyville. I had to try to get my life back. I won't die this day. It took all of my strength but I had risen slowly to my hooves, my front hooves around my body, trying to slow the throbbing, as I walked to the centre of the small area the fight had occurred in. I had stopped in the middle, put my head down, and closed my eyes, simply concentrating on the footsteps of the wolf. I knew, though, that the footsteps had stopped when I had gotten up. This wolf was in shock! I just stood there as this wolf was out of range of my sight, listening for any sign of it. That damned animal. It may be a predator, but today, it was my prey. I used what magic I had left to levitate my sword up and in front of me, in position to have a jab attack if needed. My plan was now set in motion. It seemed like forever, standing there, listening. The wolf was obviously studying me, trying to anticipate my next move. I felt its eyes, but I couldn't pinpoint the animal on just feeling alone. I had to wait for a noise, whether it be a sneeze or a step. Just then, I'd heard a branch break. Knowing no other animals were around because of the past battle, and the gigantic Manticore scaring them all away, my sword flew through the air and I heard a loud yelp along with the sound of my sword, sticking itself into a tree, firmly. I had gotten it! I pinned that damned animal! Though as I'd gotten closer, limping and wincing in pain the entire way holding my stomach, it was apparent to me now. I may have pinned the wolf with no way for it to survive once I pulled my sword out, but I was still shocked to what I'd found. It was a female. As I approached, her children who must have been hiding somewhere close were all huddled around her, crying. She was trying to console her young ones. She was trying to calm them with her dying breath. Telling them to remember their training, that they needed to survive on their own now. When asked why the wolf would give up her life so easily, her reply was simple but it made even me shed a tear. She was just trying to feed her family, most of which I had slaughtered in order to protect myself. This was an unfortunate incident and I still wish it could have turned out differently but there was no way I was giving up more than what I'd already lost. I had defended myself, and I had come out of the battle as the victor. I didn't feel like one though. I felt like a murderer. I had just killed these children's only family. As I walked up to retrieve my sword, it was obvious the wolf was too weak at this point to do any harm. I grabbed her after pulling out my sword, and laid her down on the ground, put down most of my rations so the children wouldn't starve that night, and walked away. It had been a while since that battle now. What felt like a while at least. In reality, only 4 days had passed. I had gotten used to travelling during the day and stopping to set up a camp fire during the night. About midday on day 4 after the battle, I'd arrived at a small village which I had no choice but to stop in. I hadn't eaten in 2 days since I had given most of my rations up to feed the children of that wolf I had killed so I had to eat and restock. The townsfolk were very kind and understanding, giving me more than I had deserved for the bits I had given them. They'd even bandaged me up, and their resident medic healed my wounds to the best of their ability. My ribs still hurt a fair amount, but they weren't broken any more, just bruised. On top of all the kindness, they had given me a saddlebag to carry the rations I'd received. They seemed far too kind, but from what I was told, it wasn't often they had gotten outsiders in their village. They even graciously pointed me towards Ponyville, and told me it was just over a week before I'd be arriving back home. I thanked them all greatly and continued my journey home. The rest of my journey was quiet, up until I had gotten a day away from what we know as the Everfree Forest. I had felt a presence around me. It was clearly magical, but I couldn't tell where it was coming from. I just knew it was getting frustrated with me, because I must not have done what it had wanted when it had abducted me from my life. A few hours later, that's when the mysterious Stallion showed his face, or rather, his mask. It looked tribal, from the times of old. I didn't know what the mask represented, and I still can't remember what it looked like. I do remember his words though, because his voice gave me chills, and sent me to my knees. His voice was cold and you could tell this Stallion practiced the black arts in magic. He wasn't here for some sort of sales pitch, and that much was obvious. "I will see you again soon, when you don't have that forsaken swordmaster watching out for you." This made my whole body lock up. Though he disappeared, I couldn't move. I was in too much shock. Why was he after me? Why did he care so much about a bassist? I used to live a simple life, and I never harmed anypony, let alone killed anything up until I was abducted. That Stallion left so many unanswered questions. I knew one day, I'd be after him, and I know when I get to him, he will die at my hooves. Finally, when the shock had worn off, I entered the Everfree, and it was a short walk to Ponyville from there. That's actually when I had stumbled upon this clearing. Of course, it was much smaller than it is now, as I've done some work to create this bunker and that training area outside, but I had started construction that day, and rented a place in Ponyville. It was good to be home, but even though I was home, I couldn't bring myself to see Lyra. Besides, I was still working over all of the details of what had happened to me. I still wonder why it happened, and why I was chosen for this sadistic pleasure, but I have no say in it. I'm a swordmaster now, and I will train until I'm strong enough to kill that masked Stallion who had stolen my life from me.
  20. 1. How old are you? When did you first discover My Little Pony and what did you initially think? I'm 24 years old, and I found MLP during it's first season of Friendship is Magic. My initial thoughts were pretty relative to how others generally thought. "Why am I watching this, and more importantly, why am I enjoying this?" I found that the message the show delivered was a large reason why people had watched the show in the first place, and I too, had progressively gotten dragged into the show and fandom as a whole. 2. The words like friendship, loyalty and honesty seem to come up often when describing the show. Do you think these values are important to the Brony community? I don't believe these are at all important to the community. Now, hear me out because I understand most people would crucify me at the stake for this, but my reasoning behind this is sound. When looking at the community, there isn't a lot of friendship outside of a lot of social circles created. My main example is pages on Facebook. Marked as RP pages, they'll consistently ignore other pony pages to RP with only established pages. I can give prime examples if you wish, and I've got plenty. However, social circles within the fandom hurt the fandom. Not only that, but locations you see ripping on bronies are another reason Friendship isn't a largely important value. More often than not have I seen Bronies lash out at these sources, and come out with nothing more than tarnishing the community name. 3. What do you like about identifying as a Brony or being active in the Brony community? Is there anything you dislike about it? I like identifying as a brony for a few reasons. You meet a lot of great people, and you always have an interesting conversation topic with ignorant people that believe the show to be exceptionally childish (as it is a show aimed at a much younger audience than what has been the main demographic watching it). I dislike the hate-mongering not only attracted by the community, and put out by the community. It's everywhere, and it doesn't show how great the community is, or could potentially be. 4. How do you feel about the term "Brony"? The term Brony can not only be demeaning, but also semi-informative. Using the term to describe yourself as a fan of the show often brings ridicule and ignorance from any other party, but I also believe in some people, it also brings a genuine interest as to why you like the show. It's informative in many regards, because how you react to the reaction of people when you say you're a Brony is what shows people what kind of person you most likely are in the community. 5. In watching Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony, a few Brony members appeared to have "coming out" stories to their family and friends. In other words, there seemed to be this moment of revealing their Brony Fandom to others. Can you relate to this? Did you ever feel like you needed to tell other people about identifying as a Brony. If so, please describe the experience. Where you hesitant? Did people react positively or negatively? Both? I've never felt the need to "come out" as a Brony, because it's nothing to be ashamed of. I told family and friends when they asked why I was posting pony on Facebook, but it was always meant with positive comments. Of course, there was some negativity from people, but that is to be expected when you enjoy the show. 6. How many hours a week do you spend engaging in the Brony Community? I tend to engage with the community off and on as much as I feel is genuinely necessary. It can be complicated to do so at times, but I also have a life I have to juggle, and the community is still a large part of my life. 7. What do you feel makes you a Brony? My genuine love of the show. There should be nothing that makes a person identify as a Brony outside of the love of the show. If you love the fandom too, great. If you're a creator within the fandom, great. I just believe the term to be used as someone who genuinely loves the show regardless of anything outside of loving the show. After all, that is why the term was coined. 8. Who is your most and least favorite character and why? For the Mane 6, I quite enjoy Rarity. Elegance and class, as well as a wonderful heir of creativity. She's definitely (to quote the song) somepony everypony should know. For background characters though, I've got 2. Vinyl Scratch and Octavia. Not only are they my favorite ship, but I love music. Octavia being more of a classical musician, which I have an immense love of, and Vinyl being of a more futuristic, electronic musician, which I quite enjoy. :Least favorite? Discord. I cannot stand the rudimentary lack of comedic entertainment associated with him. Yes, he can be funny, and he is what his name suggests, but I simply do not like his form of humor. He's much more of an annoyance to me than he is a needed character. 9. Lastly, is there an episode that I should absolutely watch? There isn't a single episode you shouldn't watch. All of the episodes hold a certain merit of why you should watch them, and in my right mind, I cannot rightly choose just a single episode. Sit down and make a marathon of each season. You won't regret it.
  21. Well, I went to an art college, but I had admittedly failed out because I couldn't improve as they had expected. I understand drawing is legitimately allowing time and practice to get better, but it seems like for myself, with time, I progressively get worse.
  22. Your accident is 100x better than me actually trying. I have absolutely no talent in drawing whatsoever. I'm a voice actor and writer. Drawing is not my forte.
