Hmm. Even before I watched MLP, I wouldn't have dreamed of using "gay" as an insult. I'd like to think I wouldn't go around throwing something in the trash just because I didn't like it, but I can't say for sure.

 

Something like this has happened to me, but not with MLP. I would play "Yu-Gi-Oh!" with my friends in Junior High, and kids would throw our cards in the trash and call us "gay."

 

Well, I did probably fail in that line, indeed. I wouldn't have tossed it in the trash, mind.

Friendship is magic has helped me open up my eyes and realize I've been living apathetically from everything. I'm still far away from what most would call a healthy, normal life, but I've seen that I'm so different than six months ago.

It also helped me (re)gain a passion for writing, as beginning a fic for this fandom is what has sparked several projects and my goal of becoming a pro writer.

That's about it, for the time being :3

By pure luck I've never seen anyone hate on any ponies. Besides it's pretty hard to hate on adorableness like this:

In the beginning, I hold out my fanboyism for Fluttershy. I still do, and think she's the cutest, but I've come to like almost all the ponies very much. I never was in wars over it, though, I did like them too

So I was just looking through Facebook, and this person posts a picture of the toy she received in McDonald's: A fluffy Fluttershy, and calls it a gay pony. I asked her jokingly if I could have it, and she told me she had already tossed it in the trash

Now, most of us would've done that pre-FIM and still to the older gens, and you know it :3 Still, has something like this happened to you?

I hate humanized ponies.... except for Big Mac because he's kinda hot.

 

I ship way, way, WAY too many background ponies.

 

Oh, and, despite what my friends think, I secretly think Rarity's awesome.

 

I am not Rarity's biggest fan, but I'm irked when people hate on her and claim she doesn't live up to her element, because of a couple of things that have happened.

I also think Rarity is Twilight's best couple (I'm writing a fic for it :3)

I would simply take a look at the forums, amaze at these weird fans and then go on my merry way, no need to hate on anything.

I liked the finale pretty much, but then, I've been liking the series quite a bit. I may probably be one of the only people who likes this better than the original (Toph was what I liked better in the original) So much, that I'm going to rewatch it.

Everything seemed to happen pretty fast, but remember they had only twelve episodes to work with; had there been more, I'm sure we could've had deeper looks into everything.

That said, I wonder what will be their next step. The "Element" book thing can't be as straightforwards as it was in the original series. But I have hope in them, it has always been quite a good story.
