The first ever live action Monster High movie is literally tomorrow on Nick and Paramount+, and the hype is real. I loved Monster High growing up. Maybe it'll be a shit movie, but shoot, I can't help but be a little excited. This was announced over a year ago, I've been waiting for this moment. Originally the series was supposed to premiere with the movie, but I guess there were scheduling issues and that promise couldn't be kept. Which is fine, it's just that I only today found out it wouldn't be the case anymore, and thats not me for not keeping up with the news on this for a while.

I think it's actually a safe assumption that alicorn status is what defines a royal. Primarily because Twilight became an Alicorn and was immediately crowned royalty, and the same happened to Cadence. It's not based on blood dynasty like it is in our history, but seemingly based on the status of being an alicorn.

I want to see them take full use out of this new generation taking place in the same Gen 4 Equestria
It means they can take things like ruins of locations from gen 4 and use those to plunge our new cast into an old problem, like maybe Discord, since he's implied to be immortal, and see the new characters handle the situation in a completely new way. Apart from that you can expand on worldbuilding and slowly tell a story of what happened to Equestria between then and now

I think this looks nice. I'm surprised Windows hasn't jumped on Android app support in the past. I just hope that it's more stable than what Windows 10 started out as. Normally I would be fearful this would be the same confusing mess of a navigation panel that Windows 8 brought, that wasn't really streamlined until Windows 10. But actually the little I can see in that video shows me a navigation panel that looks very intuitive immediately. Of course this is just an announcement and everything in it is subject to change. I'll have to wait and see but this video makes me hopeful for a more refined version of Windows 10

An important part of world building is making sure everything applies to a central theme. The reason Pony Life tech seems out of place is because it deviates from the pre-established worldbuilding And lore. If you took the same things but gave the basic concept a twist like the video call with the Storm King in the movie, you’d have something much more thematically accurate
