While I do think that Lightening dust was a bit mean to Dash, I'm sure Lightening never meant Dash any offense (Unlike Diamond tiara when she makes fun of the cmc) I mean, Lightening seemed friendly towards Dash at the start of the show, and actually, non of Lightening's antics caused any injury or pain towards the other pegasi and because Spitfire didn't punish lightening until the tornado incident, it must have meant Lightening had kept to the rules. While I do see how the Hurricane may be seen as making Lightening seem a bit reckless, it would have caused no injury to anyone if the mane 6 didn't happen to be flying past. Furthermore, even if Dash had not created that cloud to save the other mane 6, they would not have died 1. Twilight could have just teleported them onto a cloud, easy. 2. Fluttershy would have caught the others and landed them onto clouds before they hit the ground (yes Fluttershy can fly and Fluttershy is strong enough to drag the weight of the mane 6 behind her and still fly) 3. Lightening dust was probably the one who told the other pegasi to be ready to catch the mane 6 when Rainbow Dash bounced them off the cloud. Thus, if it wasn't for lightening's help, there would be no one to catch the mane 6 and they may still have fallen to their deaths when they bounced off Rainbow Dash's cloud. You may think that Lightening's expression near the end showed no compassion, but I would actually like to put forth a different argument. Lightening did show sadness, but was so sad that she could not cry. Lightening may also have been somewhat angry with Dash for not talking her out of the tornado and for advising spitfire to kick her out of the wonderbolts when it was just as much Dash's fault and Lightening didn't intend to cause any harm, nor break any rules. She may have felt the punishment was a tad severe and may have been angry at Dash for hypocrisy and not taking her share of the blame and for making it seem like Dash did nothing wrong while she had to take all the blame herself. There are other ways to show sadness besides crying tears you know and I still think Lightening does feel genuine regret for her actions. She doesn't seem mean enough to have ill intentions to anyone. I think Dash was somewhat to blame as well but thats just my opinion.

Fluttershy. Fluttershy is best pony and in my opinion the best character in both mlp and equestria girls. Sadly I would say I put rainbow Dash last because Rainbow Dash is selfish and mean and (as Applejack said) very untrustworthy. There's another reason as well why I put Fluttershy at the top. Kindness is the most important element in terms of friendship. Think about it logically. 1.If you're disloyal to your friends and betray them when they need you, then you're not being kind. Thus loyalty simply does not exist without kindness and someone who is kind must be loyal as well. 2.Lying to your friends for self gain, is not kind. A kind person does not lie and thus to be classed as a kind person, you must also be honest. 3. Kindness and generosity are similar. But for there to be generosity, there must first be kindness. Furthermore, generosity can be for selfish intentions, whereas kindness is always well intended. Without kindness, generosity would only be given for selfish reasons and that would be bad. 4. Joy and laughter... what better way to comfort a sad person who is sad by showing them an act of kindness and asking him whats wrong. I mean, a beggar with no money on the street doesn't want funny jokes, funny jokes won't keep him alive from starvation and you may only serve to make him sadder. What the beggar needs is for a kind and generous person(e.g: Fluttershy) to show him an act of kindness and to give him what others will not give him. Furthermore, Pinkie pie's obnoxiousness when trying to make others have fun often makes them feel worse because she is not being kind. Simply put, kindness brings more joy and laughter than any other element of friendship. Joy and laughter with no kindness would be like spongebob, it would be someone having fun at the expense of others and not being sensitive to their needs. In fact, I think that if you gave Fluttershy all six elemental amulets, she could wield them all by herself with no problems. Being the element of kindness means... 1. she is at least as loyal as Rainbow Dash if not more. 2. She is honest like Applejack. 3. She is more generous than Rarity. 4. She brings more joy and laughter than pinkie pie. 5. Magic,.,, Well I never fully classed it as a proper element seeing as magic doesn't exist in real life. I dislike the fact the writers of the mlp series make Fluttershy fail at almost everything she does and the way she is portrayed in the movie as being incompetent and less clever than the other mane 6 members. Fluttershy is also the least flawed character out of the mane 6 1. She isn't arrogant and bragging like Rainbow Dash 2. She isn't stubborn and unwilling to change opinions like Applejack 3. She isn't obnoxious and unintentionally annoying like Pinkie pie. 4. She isn't self centered like Rarity and cares more about others than herself. Whaddya think?

I don't know why but I can't help but feel slightly sorry for poor Lightening dust. I mean, Dash isn't exactly a very nice pony on the outside but as shown in the series she does have a softer and nicer side on the inside. Nowhere in the rules did it state that a tornado was banned and no one could have predicted Twilight and friends to just fly through when they did. I'm sure that just like Rainbow Dash, lightening dust does have a nicer side. I wonder what was in their head when the developer's decided to go with the new ending, the old one would have been so much nicer, seriously it would.

I thought it was a good movie. The humor was good. One thing I will complain about though is how the characters were flanderized a little too much and too easily tricked by sunset. I mean... they were good friends, it should have t least occurred to them to confront each other about the situation right. But other than the obvious plot hole, good film.

All in sll, I think its a good episode and all. Definitely one I could watch over and over again anyway, The humor was just spot on
