New year, new era... as they would say in F1.
2026 will mark the beginning of the championship with the new rules concerning the power unit being half V6, half electric and an emphasis on electronic components for race strategies and overtakes, leading to the end of the "Ground Effect Era" from years ago.
While I'm focusing more on the F1 part, being my main motorsport of choice, I will do my best to cover other racing events such as WRC, indyCar and the lot. This time I will commit to the thread throughout the entirety of all year long.

Now that all is said and done, here's the (spoilered) grid lineup for 2026.
Pretty much the same as 2025 but with Isack Hadjar being promoted as Verstappen's sacrificial lamb partner, after a splendid maiden season, with British-Swedish Arvid Lindblad filling the VCARB spot and Cadillac making their debut with fan-favorites Valtteri BottASS and Sergio "Checo" Perez.
