So yeah, two weeks and a lot of laughter passed in the blink of an eye. Then I did what I tend to do when I fall in love with a franchise and consumed everything related to it. I tore into the Equestria Girls, the comics and hunted down the books. Six seasons late, but hey, maybe my newbie outlook can add something fresh to the discussions?
Then of course I went about creating things myself. My OC's are still in the development stage (a few background details need to be hammered out and finding the right name for the main girl has proven to be quite a challenge) and spend another two weeks pasting together a music video, which I'll post in the appropriate place later. Edit: There we go.
Then I realized that since it was the fanworks and the community that made them that made me actually try this series to begin with that I should probably become a part of that community. So here I am.
I'm looking forward to many fun talks together!
Cell-shaded CG could be a good compromise here. The timberwolves from The Cutie Re-Mark were CG while still being consistent with the style of the show. And that's what's most important to me: that the movie stays true to its animated origins. You don't need CG to attract larger audiences, you simply need to be a good movie.
