      There is a thread in the Throne Room with the public details about the upgrade:

      The upgrade has a lot of new features that will help with the pending opening of a new Debate section, as well as some fun features that will start rolling out in short order after the update.

       

      Upgrades are all about patching bugs and tighten security. To help the administration to find any and all issues that happened as part of the upgrade, some replies that are considered off-topic (including yours that I am responding to here), have been removed.
