  1. April 28th, 1989. Other people with that day include Jay Leno, Harper Lee, Jessica Alba, Nina from 3rd Rock, Kim Gordon and King Edward the 4th. Oh yeah, and Saddam Hussein.
  2. Have to post one from today's episode. Excuse the pixelation, btw:
  3. Just remembered something that would've made the episode alone: Fluttershy's Badass Massage! I guess she does more than housesit.
  4. Okay, I'm in absolute stitches after this episode. Twi flipping out, Sweetie Bell liking manes, the new "Worst. Possible. Thing." meme courtesy of Rarity, Big Mac showing his softer side, Trollestia making them beg. I had this stupid, huge grin on my face the whole time! BTW, did anypony else catch the reference to this? Oh yeah, there was a whole lot of high-pitched screaming going on over those 22 minutes.
  5. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd-JJTs2aKU Here's a Dalek trying to be sexy. SISTER, PLEASE! ALL THE BOYS COME ROUND TO TASTE MY SUGAR LUMPS! YOUR LUMPS ARE INFERIOR AND MUST THEREFORE BE EXTERMINATED!
  6. Banned for having a cutely huge head. Also, Twi, what's the use of banning people if you want the post count to go up?
  7. Embarrassing but amusing story: When I first got Red back in 99' and popped it in, I spent the whole night trying to figure out how to leave my house. I didn't really play an RPG video game before, so I didn't know a mat signified the door. <-This is where a Derpy emoticon would've helped.
  8. Banned for not having a name that starts with V.
  9. That reminds me, try combining Absolut Apeach with ginger ale. It tastes just like peach cobbler.
  10. When they finally decide to release a soundtrack CD, it'll be on there. If the Simpsons can feature the Garbageman song with alternate vocals on a CD, MLP: FiM can do that.
  11. Glad to know there's other fans of it. Though it has to be said, "We'll show that creep the REAL SUPER POWER OF TEAMWORK!" just might be the worst video game line ever. As a kid born in 89', I can say that Sonic really did have a major presence in the media. He even took up half of that giant screen at Best Buy! (anypony else miss that?) Definitely remember reading the comics in my school's library and watching the cartoon with the voice stylings of Jaleel White. Of course, the games really were where it was at, and many wonderful memories were made blasting through Sonic 2 at my aunt and uncle's place (sometimes with cousins, one of which owned a SNES). Even at a very young age, I knew the Chemical Plant was a classic for its music, it's purple goo (and blue goo snakes), the steep drop in the second act, that twisted satisfaction I got from watching people drown. Suddenly I'd gone from this lush green paradise to a factory, so now anything was possible. It was glorious. It was Sonic. What a crucial moment it was when I finally got a copy of Sonic Mega Collection Plus and took to my spinball dash again. Here's the best remix of the theme I've ever heard: http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXUNyIHH39A As for Adventure, my best memory with that was playing it at Nickel Nickel on their Dreamcast during someone's party. Fun stuff, that.
  12. Cantleda has a nice ring to it.
  13. I'm addicted to these. It's very hard to take it off the screen once it's up. I know you're set with as many Lie variants as you'd like to bother with, but I just wanted to point out mine for teh lulz: Lie-nyl Scratch. Lionel's a real name, too, so it's perfect. I guess I'm also amused by the notion of not actually seeing the lie eyes, hidden by the specs.
  14. Somepony just posted this video that was based on a dream they had. I don't know if they are a member of these forums, but if you are (in the words of Hoity Toity) "Show yourself!" Edit: Forgot to mention, yes this is a response to "What I See With My Eyes Closed."
  15. I'd like to extend this topic to actions/perceptual results, in addition to the verbal ones. I was having a chat with a friend I had over. He was sitting on a couch, while I was in my computer chair. I forget what to (maybe at him), but I was pointing at something. It was at that moment I wondered: "Why is there this thing coming out of my hoof?"
  16. Why did I never think to use this before?
  17. Yes, in the chorus. The only ones with solos were the Mane 6.
  18. MLP Forums: Spaces Are Magic In other news, my avatar now graces all the most recent posts in every forum. I win teh ponynets! It'll go away in a minute or two, basically outweighing all the effort involved. Still, totally worth it.
  19. Oh, sweet Celestia. What has science done?
  20. Seems to work just fine on my iPhone's end since we started. One button is out of reach, but I never really use it anyway. Perfect for when I want to check what's happening on-the-go. Don't really need any fancy art or whatnot, because that's what my computer's wide screen is for.
  21. The best part about this: There's a song for every one of those. As far as beers go, Miller Lite, Red Stripe, Fat Tire, Stella Artois and Guinness are among the varieties I enjoy. Taurino is also a good Latin American brew. Edit/Side Note: How could I forget Singha and Chang? I always get that at the Thai place by my house. The Isan food (North-East Thailand) there is actually better than the stuff I actually had in North Thailand. It's one of the few places you can actually get nam khao tod, and they do it perfectly. Ever since my trip to Spain in '02 (It's Europe, I was totally legal ), I've always enjoyed the taste of a good sangria. In the tequila department, I've recently been enjoying a nice bottle of Don Viejo Gold. As for rum, I have to recommend Kraken. It's smooth and flavorful. There is vanilla, but I detected a hint of chocolate. This made me think of a story my folks told me about an anniversary weekend they had in New Orleans. There were Drive-Thru Daiquiris! The genius part is that they're sealed, so you can keep it up front 'till you get home because it's an unopened beverage. I really could go on, but I'm sure you've all got your own drinks to talk about. I'll be back. Oh I'll be back. PS - I have a Guinness messenger bag. Won it in a white elephant exchange. It's what I use for school stuff.
  22. Lope Angeles, Cantlefornia. I wish the pun was as easy to find as Fillydelphia or Manehatten. I could've said Canterfornia, but that's already in the name of the country. Maybe putting an "ia" in Connemara would also work, but I'm just going to stick with what I've got.
