  1. WWCD-FM, 102.5 in Columbus, Ohio, is a very rare breed--it is an independently owned rock radio station. While most stations (and by most I mean 99%) of radio stations in this country are owned by large media conglomerates or corporate entities (such as ClearChannel/IHeartRadio), CD102.5 is locally owned and operated. They tend to play alternative stuff, so there's a lot of Indie Rock, but they also mix in local artists and even have occasional guest DJs--who are just local folks who wrote in with a playlist for their free day and get invited to the station to take it for a spin. While I don't always love their rotation, I'm proud that my local market has such a unique station.
  2. Windows 10. I find myself trying to touch all kinds of non-touchscreen devices now, including my desktop (which still has Windows 7).
  3. I know English (obviously) and some German, but I'm horribly out of practice. I would love to learn Polish, though. I've got family over there somewhere and I'd love to get back in touch with them.
  4. I could see it working out as something that happens by accident, where Mac just happens to be in the right place at the right time, and he realizes that he's the only pony who can act to save Flutt--I mean, uh, the pony in trouble.
  5. I feel like there has to be some sort of way to address this through the context of a friend moving away. Like, sort of develop it along the lines of what ended up going wrong with Starlight Glimmer, where Scootaloo starts to get frustrated, but instead of turning into a psycho she reaches out to friends who alert Dash, and Dash finds a way to work things out.
  6. I'm sure one of you can finish this one: "Five hours of summer..."
  7. 1-I wish I could just charge myself the way I charge my phone instead of sleeping. 2-I don't want to go to work tomorrow.
  8. Well, on the bright side, the Browns have pretty much clinched first pick in the draft. On the downside, I don't see an obvious #1 pick coming up. And holy crap have they been terrible this year. The same goes for every year I can remember, sadly, but this year has been extra "special." I do think that they have the groundwork for what could become a decent team, but they are taking all of their lumps at once, and it isn't pretty. Oh well. I'm used to it by now. As long as they don't draft another Johnny Manziel...
  9. As an Ohioan, with family from the Cleveland area, I am sadly cursed with being a Browns and Indians fan. I don't much care for basketball, so LeBron only offers so much of a respite. The Detroit Red Wings and Ohio State football are a little more fun, though. Carwise, I'm not a fan of trucks, tuners or hot rods, but any nicely restored classic will get my attention. I have a soft spot for the more obscure, though, so I'm much more likely to salivate over a Studebaker than a Mustang. Cheers!
  10. 3-5 times a week. It's the fastest, easiest, cheapest lunch I can get when I'm working. It's terrible for me, I know, but I'm not really in a financial situation where I can afford to be too picky.
  11. Part of me says Fluttershy, just because that'd be so cruel. But the self-preservationist in me says Applejack, because she'd beat me to a pulp if I hit her. Then again, AJ would probably beat me to a pulp if I hit Fluttershy, too. So let's just go with Fluttershy.
  12. There was a guy who lived in my dorm a few years ago that I hung out with on occasion who was a big fan of the show. Went as Rainbow Dash for Halloween, as I recall. Kinda don't talk to him anymore, though, because he was a jerk. My younger brother was a fairly active brony once upon a time, but I don't know how much he follows it anymore. I suppose I should ask him next time I see him.
  13. I had friends who were into FiM circa fall 2011, but I only half-paid attention while they were watching. Interestingly enough, my younger brother found the show around the same time and got super into it (I figure he has an account on here somewhere; I just don't know his screenname). I'm a longtime furry, going back a full decade now at least, and so I'd see the occasional pony artwork over on the furry sites, but other than the sudden impossibility to search for artwork of horses I didn't pay it much mind. I knew enough about it to know the Mane Six and the general premise of the show, but not much more than that. But in the past month or two it's changed; searching for more artwork, little snippets of fanfiction here and there, and really reading into the show itself. The whole thing is incredibly well put together, and the characters are distinct without being entirely stereotypical. Plus, I got into a couple of the more "epic" style fanfictions, and now? Well... here I am.
  14. Hey there! I'm kinda new to the whole brony thing, but I'm slowly starting to find my way around. I'm 24, male, and I live with my girlfriend in Ohio. I'm into sports, cars, history, random nerdy things, and the occasional video game. I've been a furry for about a decade now, and I'm plenty immersed in that side of things, but I don't really have much connection in the realm of Equestria. I'm here to hopefully change that, find some cool ponyfriends, and stop bothering my uninterested non-pony friends about this show!
