So I procrastinated and missed the deadline for the July art contest. Heh.... My bad... I did finish it though!! Featuring my OC's Whirlypop, Mint Medley and Silly Goose, and my best friend's OC Lemon Drop making a cameo as the little Door Mouse in this Mad Tea Party dream!! Whose dream do you think it actually is?

It's been a few years a little while since I was around, but I'm back! Getting back into the swing of things with a couple revamps of my ponysona as well as my secondary OC!

Hi there everypony- I’m...not exactly a new pony here but I was gone for so long I figured I should reintroduce myself- I’d only just barely begun to the community here when some personal things came up and I ended up going ghost. That was over a year ago now, but the desire for community recently resurfaced to the point that I just new I had to come back!! I hope to meet even more of you than I did before, and hopefully make some lasting connections and friendships!! I’m looking forward to talking to you all! -Whirly Pop the Pony

Her tail looks shorter because I designed it as being pulled up into a bun of sorts to try and keep her tail in check, it's even wilder than her mane so it needed at least a little order brought to it~

I actually just created a new DA today to start posting my pony art- There's not much there as of yet but there will be as soon as I'm feeling well enough to start drawing some more~ The username is WhirlyPopPony if you decide to look for it at some point.

So I've finally joined the community after following the show for years, and the first step was to create my ponysona- This was my first time trying pony anatomy, so any feedback would be appreciated~ Without further ado, Whirly Pop! Her cutie mark and color palette were both drawn from my actual professional logo as a designer, just so you have some frame of reference for the decisions made in creating her- Again, I would love some feedback since this is my first attempt at drawing a pony.

This is honestly a huge step for me, coming here- but I'm ready to join the community so let me tell you a bit about myself! I'm a 22 year old female who recently got a degree in graphic design with minors in illustration and fine art (I'm definitely eying up those creative boards already!), and I've secretly followed MLP:FiM since season one. I was in high school when it started up and although I loved it, I didn't have any outlet for it- the only examples I had of what "bronies" were was not good at all and I was scared to be associated with it. It's taken me years to finally come to this point of being able to accept and come to realize that the bad example I was shown was in fact the distasteful minority and that this is a group of wonderful people that I want SO BADLY to be a part of!! So I designed my ponysona and trotted on over~ I hope to make lots of friends that I can share this love with, I'm overjoyed to be here and can't wait to meet all of you!
