In case the "drone metal" thing didn't turn you off, here's what this would entail: We'd be focusing on atmosphere rather than rhythms and technicality. The atmospheres will generally be dark and scary, given the genres. This would, obviously, require you to have some sort of instrument. Electric guitar will be the primary instrument for at least the drone metal part. A vocalist is optional (I use vocalist rather than singer because it's drone metal.) The songs can just be improvisations.
