  1. Desert Cruiser by Truckfighters. I think you can tell that I enjoy this song and album.
  2. Where would I post a topic about band auditions? Vinyl's Creative Resources, right?

    1. Snow

      Snow

you could do it in a status update if you are really unsure, or. if you want to make a thread but are unsure, set it to "wait for approval"

    2. Mentis Soliloquy

      Mentis Soliloquy

^ That is some sound advice.

  3. Maybe. Drone metal generally doesn't have drummers, but I don't think this project will just be in that genre. Send me a PM and we can talk more about this.
  4. About six times. First was my birth city to a small, nearby town in a different state. Next was a few years later across the country. Then we moved to another nearby house in the same town twice. Last summer, we moved to what's basically the same town, but in a different state. Even though it was a few miles away, we still had a bunch of paper work to sign. What's interesting about this one is that it's the first apartment I've lived in.
  5. I'm looking for somebody that can help me out with a project I started working on. I'm wanting to make a music project based off of themes from the show and fanfictions (primarily mine, but others, such as Fallout: Equestria) are welcome. The genre I'm thinking of is drone metal, but other genres, like post metal or doom metal are welcome. (Link to Wikipedia's page on drone metal for those unaware of what it is) In case the "drone metal" thing didn't turn you off, here's what this would entail: We'd be focusing on atmosphere rather than rhythms and technicality. The atmospheres will generally be dark and scary, given the genres. This would, obviously, require you to have some sort of instrument. Electric guitar will be the primary instrument for at least the drone metal part. A vocalist is optional (I use vocalist rather than singer because it's drone metal.) The songs can just be improvisations. If you're interested in helping out, or need something cleared up, reply to this or send me a PM. More than one person can help out with this. We might even be able to cycle people out.
  6. Hate This is where I reference I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream
  7. Fife "He is the prince of the land of Fife Noble and true with a heart of steel Now it is lost, vengeance shall be his Angus McFife is his name"
  8. Fine Just like you. *shoots finger guns while wondering why I'm still single*
  9. Been listening to a lot of Gojira lately. I've had this song on loop for the past 20 minutes.
  10. Recently discovered this band. They're going to be stuck in my head for a while.
  11. Not too into the new circular avatars, honestly. Seems out of place.

  12. 9/10. HammerFall never fails to disappoint.
  13. Rip and Tear from the new Doom game, mostly because I've got a friend over and they're playing the game.
  14. [SOMETHING ABOUT THE UPDATE]

  15. Nope. This is coming from somebody that lives in the Pacific Northwest, which is primarily where Bigfoot's spotted. The story's been around for too long (the earliest I found was 1890. Didn't look too long, so there might be earlier sightings.) Whether there was one Bigfoot or a whole species, we'd find it by now. Our technology's really good at finding stuff and people are tenacious, so there's no reason to assume that we wouldn't be able to find one by now. Now the reasons why we're still getting Bigfoot sightings? There's three I can think of. First is people not wanting to give up. As I said above, we're a tenacious species. Some will keep going, even when they know they're wrong. The second is a little thing called pareidolia. The mind sees patterns where there aren't any. This is what makes us see things in clouds or the face on Mars. The last is just plain ignorance. On the off chance that this thread is actually about the monster truck, then my answer remains unchanged.
  16. Frozen's definitely up there. That might just be because I had to see it three times in a month long period for school, though. Pretty much all the sequels, except for the Toy Story ones. Also, Mars Needs Moms. The animation is the least of its problems.
  17. Three. They would be the one that got me into the show in the first place and two people that I got into the show.
  18. I'm feeling that feeling you get when you're watching or listening to something that's so terrible it's amazing. I'm on a binge of terrible songs for some reason.
  19. The Raid: Redemption (I use the subtitle because I'm an American swine.) It's a damn good action film from Indonesia. It's kind of like Dredd, but with much more martial arts.
  20. Something that made me misplace my diaphragm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5bnvlhIp7Q
  21. Comfort Zone by Beardfish. They're one of those great bands that are have bad luck and don't get a lot of listens.
  22. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich on toast. Wasn't very filling, so I'll probably have another reply here soon.
  23. I'm fine living in this era, but to actually contribute to the thread, I've always had an interest in the 1880-1925 era. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't to help out with my writing. I'm working on stuff involving silent films, WWI, and the Russian Revolution of 1917. Seeing them in person or hearing about them from people involved would help me out with the stories, I think.
  24. Powerwolf's cover of Iron Maiden's The Evil That Men Do.
