    I quite enjoyed having a dream log. I lost my last one, but plan to start a new one very soon. I also experienced lucid dreaming a few times, which was both strange and highly enjoyable (flying, yay)! but I have no desire to seek it out personally.

    How long does it take you to fall asleep? Do you have to have white noise to actually sleep? Do you sleep like a rock, or are you a light sleeper? I usually sleep like a rock. I currently sleep in a bed, but would like to try out sleeping in a hammock in the future I sleep best with my kitty beside me! Also, I dream a lot depending on what's going on in my life. It's usually a complicated story-like plot, and my family and friends get a kick out of hearing them, lol. What about you?

    Villains are the heroes of their own stories. I agree with @Mesme Rize that they can be the most interesting characters to pay attention to, just look at someone like Frollo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. He definitely was doing the good and righteous thing in his own mind, and its captivating to watch his struggle as the viewer. I was also playing a video game a while back in which the main character resigns himself to doing a job no one else wants to do; killing off a few people that the government was taking too long to deliver the justice to. It's not something he wants to do, but he does it anyway. The main character here tends to come off as the hero despite the dark actions he commits, because in his mind he is doing them for the right reasons.

    @BasementSparkle @GrimGrimoire Well said. The debate of whether guys and girls can be friends is definitely solved with a big yes, but also depends on the people involved. As some have even said in this thread, there are individuals would rather not or are incapable of being friends with the opposite sex. That's fine. But tons of people, myself included, have had friends of the opposite sex successfully. And yes, I mean hot friends of the opposite sex that are extremely attractive. So long as you both understand where the other is coming from, and respect boundaries, you're fine. For me its evident at the start of the relationship how it'll work out (I make it very clear what my intentions are so that no one is confused as to where we're headed). Also, that last picture of Starlight and Sunburst together is too cute!

    I only joined a few months ago, and I recall my introductory post being pretty general, so no, not really. I've seen people re-do their posts after a long period of being away, though.

    That makes sense. It only just occurred to me how strange it is that the one and only brother she loves so much never wrote or visited, same for her. Even now, their relationship seems to be amicable, but not super close. I dare say Twilight seems to be more bonded to baby Flurry than the parents, lol!

    Have to agree, that song sounded extremely forced and directionless. I also didn't like "Best Friends Until the End of Time" from S7 Episode 2, the repeating didn't sound like it belonged to me. Looks like I'm among the few that actually found B.B.B.F.F. to be very sweet and fitting.

    You're probably right; I doubt we'll ever get a real answer to the question of foal-naming, namely (heh, see what I did there?) because there is no reason for us to need to know! At best, I view it as a quirky little hole

    I think you may be right. He literally has no reason to appear... although just seeing him hanging out in the background would be nice. I mean, how often do we see the other pets anyway?

    I was thinking about how ironic it is that a pony's name typically matches up with their special ability/gift, even before their cutie marks appear. Scootaloo was named long before she was old enough to ride a scooter, for instance. In fact, I don't think there is a pony without a name at least a bit relevant to their cutie marked abilities. So, how do parents name their foals? Are ponies just amazingly good at knowing what their offspring will likely be up to when they're older? I haven't seen any instances of names being changed at any point in the series, but it just kind of blows my mind to think of how fitting their names all are. I guess it is debatable that names like Pinkie Pie and Sweetie Belle leave some room, though!

    This episode didn't excite me in the least. I watched it only days ago, and my memory is already foggy regarding one of the tales. Felt very filler to have characters we've never heard any mention of before presented in a few minutes each. Not a horrible watch, but I probably won't be re-watching this one if I see it on.

    Have to start out by saying that, knowing someone personally who can't tell Starlight and Twilight apart, it really made me happy to see Ember screw it up! cracked up pretty good and simply had to make sure said person saw the clip I'm glad we got to see more of Ember, although Thorax's character still leaves... something to be desired for me. Not entirely sure of what that is yet, but I'll be interested in seeing how he fleshes out as the show progresses. I guess it still feels like the whole reformed Changeling thing still feels a bit "empty" as far as their culture and such goes for one, and Thorax really hasn't appeared enough in the show to appear as anything more than an insecure leader so far. Will give it time. Ember had a whole episode (or was it more than one...?) showing the depth of her kingdom, so maybe the Changelings will get one, too. Still, very cute to see Ember and Thorax become friends aww!

    Looks like the writers got to have some fun with this episode. It was a joy to watch, especially seeing them take a shot at some of the most common gripes in the fandom. Very cool to see a show like this tackle some issues that may come up in a realistic setting, and teaches a great lesson regarding intention and outcome.

    Nope, nope, NOPE! Reading your experience gave me similar anxiety lol, it's amazing how those things are built to feel like your life is over, but it's actually <rather> safe. I read a story not too long agtee I went on the Zipper where a carnival ride in another city wasn't maintained properly and it broke, flinging a few people far to their deaths and injuring others. There's a video of it somewhere. I can't imagine what it must've been like for families watching their loved ones below... man.

    I've heard good things about many of these, especially GTA, Overwatch, and TF2! I tried WoW once, I got to level 10, died, and never bothered to log back on lol. Used to enjoy League, but the raging wasn't worth it lmao. I'm trying out Tera online right now, after trying out FFXIV online.

    Colorwise, I'd agree that patterns like those seen on Sunburst are strangely rare, especially for a show detailing colored ponies! I'd expect to see more spots, socks, and markings, but I can't say that I'm disappointed in the ponies we've seen so far. The writers did a good job of differentiating them based on mane styles and colors, I think, although I had a friend get confused regarding telling Twilight Sparkle/Starlight Glimmer apart (hilarious for me, at least). I did like seeing some darker shades of colors recently though, like Burnt Oak.

    Just curious, but are you saying women in the past had lower standards? Are you implying that if women had lower standards, you'd have someone by now?

    I believe she would. It seems the species of the MLP universe have their own preset counterparts to turn into once they cross the portal. Since all ponies become human with no exceptions, I think it'd be strange if not all dragons became dogs!
