  1. First of all, if you haven't seen the film and want to see it this might have spoilers. I have been waiting for a Wonder Woman film for about six years now when the idea was first pitched and Joss Stone was involved in the project. I've been a Wonder Woman fan for quite a time especially since watching the Linda Carter 70s series and Justice League. I must say, I am crying happy tears with how pleased I am with the film! It sticks pretty close to Wonder Woman's origin story and Gal Gadot is a great choice as Wonder Woman. Gal is independent, powerful, but also feminine and naive to an extent. I was curious if they would have WW fly in her invisible jet or just fly, but the compromise of her "jump flying" was well done. I must say I was not expecting Aries to be who it turned out to be and the battle between WW and Aries was epic. WW used her lasso, bracelets, strength, speed, and intelligence. It diverted slightly by having it set in WWI rather than WWII but I can see either one working just as well except since WW's costume is based on the American flag it might have worked better to have her working with the Americans in WWI. I did enjoy the nod to Batman/Bruce Wayne (yes I ship WW and BM). I also enjoyed seeing golden age characters that usually are left out including Etta Candy, and I actually prefer her in the movie's role rather than the golden age role. The WW film managed to balance hope, despair, and finally justice in a wonderful way. WW doubts herself and really doubts her mission and has to learn to understand the shades of grey issue but that human beings are capable of great good. I'm impressed with how they kept close to the original storyline written by Maurston and was surprised in a good way to see Dr, Poison included in this firm. Dr. Poison was the first villain WW faces and it isn't revealed until much later that Dr. Poison is in fact, female. The way they set up Themiscarya was on point and how I imagined the island of the Amazons to look. It's great to see they included the warrior Amazons training. All in all, blown away, so, so happy as a die-hard Wonder Woman fan!
  2. I would say about the same height as Twilight Sparkle
  3. During the school year I get sick more often because I'm a teacher and I teach 3-5 year olds and they pick up everything! I usually get the worse of it in winter when I catch anything chest related (asthma makes this worse). In spring and summer I hardly ever get sick, but really sick maybe about 3 times per year. I don't get sick during summer break (well for the most part).
  4. Lugia, that's a shame because not all furries are like that (I am a furry btw). The thing is, the press gets a hold of bad behavior in certain fandoms and runs with it.
  5. I like the first one and if the pose could be similar to my avatar that would be awesome!
  6. Oh wow yes, thank you for responding! I would love to see any work you have and I'm pretty open to interpretation from the artist, thank you!
  7. She is an awesome bad guy and she doesn't reform. I like that
  8. I guess I'm amazed at all the spiteful sentiment towards marriage. Marriage doesn't have o be a HUGE gala thing like a lot of people make it out to be, that's more a wedding show. If you really love someone, why not commit? You can keep it small or elope. Marriage is beneficial to couples and a pledge of love to one another. I am a Christian so I see it as the highest bond two people can have on this Earth. It's sad that modern society doesn't take marriage more seriously and more like they'll keep it until they throw it away. Children benefit from having two married parents. I don't think it's outdated at all, but a beautiful thing when taken and considered seriously.
  9. I have always found the whole Sparity thing weird. I can get that Spike might have a crush on someone older, but it would be creepy for it to actually happen. I think Rarity loves Spike like you would a little brother because I've seen hints she knows that Spike has a crush on her. Spike is a dragon and Rarity is a pony. I know in other worlds this wouldn't be a problem, but MLP does make a distinction between species and it wouldn't work (sort of like the Discord/Fluttershy thing but that's a different topic). Spike is younger than Rarity by quite a bit as Twilight was his "mother" in a sense and her and Rarity are around the same age.
  10. Whoa Regulus aren't you on My Lion King forum to? I'm a member over there under the name Pridelands Phantom
  11. I have no pics to post but I am a Rainbow Dash fan! I even like Rainbow Dash as a breezy. My favorite episode with Dash is probably where she's trying to decide on what sort of pet she should have and ends up with Tank!
  12. I think Granny Smith is pretty underrated as a character as she makes me laugh and I would love to know some of her backstory! Cadence is pretty underrated as a princess and I happen to like her myself. He hasn't been mentioned much but Sunburst is an interesting stallion and I'd like to know more about him.
  13. 1. Applejack: I like the apple family including the very underappreciated Granny Smith. I love the episode in the Apple Reunion focusing on her as a young mare and would be interested to hear more from her. I also like Braeburn as far as a more minor apple character. Out of AJ's family I'd say besides Granny Smith that Big Mac is my favorite. 2. Rainbow Dash: Yes, I'll admit I'm biased to as I really love Rainbow as a character. Her parents were a surprise to me, in a good way! I like that they love Rainbow and support her, but need to tone it down and learn that you can be too supportive. I especially like Rainbow's dad because of his design but Rainbow's mom is sweet too! 3. Twilight: I really like Shining Armor and think he's a pretty cool stallion. I like that the writers are adding a dose of reality of what being a new dad and father to a baby is like. I actually like Cadence and Flurry. 4. Pinkie Pie: I actually like Marble Pie more than I do Maud. Marble is really shy and I can relate as I'm introverted. I think Pinkie is more the black sheep (um I mean pony) in her family being so outgoing. Pinkie's family remind me of the Amish who are very quiet and don't show too much emotion. Lime Pie is the more greedy and scheming of the siblings. 5. Fluttershy: I know that Zephyr is a character most people hate, and I can see why. The bad thing is I can relate to him on a level of fearing failing. However, I don't believe in never trying or mooching off family. Fluttershy's mom and dad didn't really get fleshed out enough. 6. Rarity: I don't hate Rarity by any means, but she's not my favorite pony and we barely see her parents! Sweetie Belle is alright, but my least fav CMC.
  14. I really liked this one because my opinions on fashion are pretty similar to AJ's in that I don't get it and find it ridiculous. However, I appreciate that some people enjoy it and put work into it. I liked seeing Inky Rose as she's a goth pony and I like the goth culture (I had a lot of friends who were into it). However, I was getting a little annoyed because AJ didn't realize she was being hurtful rather than helpful. I can understand why AJ did judge the show, because her and Rarity are friends and she didn't want to hurt her feelings. However, I can understand why AJ wouldn't want to do it. I would be useless as a modern art judge because I don't get it either. It was nice to see that AJ started to understand why she was hurting Rarity's feelings and I really was surprised and amused by Rarity's hard guitar riff! I really have never been big on the whole Spike crush thing with Rarity, it seems rather silly. Someone said this made them hate AJ. The thing is AJ knew she wasn't a person to judge fashion because she's into function and practicality. I am the same way when it comes to fashion: give me my jeans and a t-shirt and I'm happy.
  15. I happen to really like AJ and think she is level-headed and has a really interesting character. First of all, she's a country girl which I can relate to. She helps her family run a farm and is an earth pony which means she doesn't have any magic to help her, it's just pure hard work. I like to see the bond AJ has not only with her family but also her dog Winona. I like seeing animal bonds and I can see how much AJ really loves Winona. I think AJ doesn't get as much recognition because she's not as in your face as say Pinkie Pie.
  16. Hello, I was just wondering if you already need to have a reference photo because I do not have any reference photos of my OC.
  17. I'm a huge animal lover so this could be a book in itself lol but I currently have four dogs: Mija a Chihuahua, Sango a Japanese Chin, London a Golden Retriever, and Misty a Peke/Japanese Chin mix. In the future I'd love to have a Saint Bernard. Three of my dogs are senior dogs
  18. I'm usually a shipper but it's hard to do with MLP since I only ship straight couples. The ship I supported most is down in flames which was Big Mac and Marble Pie. I also really like Sunburst and Starlight Glimmer.
  19. I have several favorites including anime. I love anime and there's too many to list here! My most recent cartoon favorite besides MLP is The Lion Guard. My other favorites include Hey Arnold!, Road Rovers, Zeta Project, Justice League, Teen Titans (not Go), the Wild Thornberries, the 80s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Duck Tales, Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin, 80s Care Bears.
  20. For English speaking people Asian languages are the most difficult to learn especially the writing system.
  21. I love the French language, and it does get harder to remember after a certain age. Before age seven it's easy to pick up a second language, after that it can take work
