I'm doing a contemporary Arts degree with a focus on Dance...don't judge meeee lol. 

I think right now I just want a job to feel like I can do it, you know? The fact everywhere keeps saying no without even interviewing me is upsetting...especially considering I have so much experience. I worked in a locally owned store for a year, a bar for a summer, I did a hairdressing diploma before deciding to move on to pursue my passion for the Arts and also worked in a salon for over a year. I've had tons of experience within the Arts and Performing Arts sector now, working as a stage hand at shows as well as running my own classes and such. And on top of that I run two societies and manage a variety of social media accounts for my University. 

Just feeling helpless lol. 

I feel like all I do is pursue my dreams whilst simultaneously gaining a vast amount of experiences and opportunities, but still...my brother who only just finished college doing a bricklaying diploma and has never worked a day in his life landed a job at the snap of his fingers. 

Sorry for ranting hehe, just need to vent I suppose. 

I'm saying college in place of uni haha, I have so many American friends online I've become so used to doing it for them! Hah. 

I'm doing a degree I love, but over the last three years I've realised it's certainly not the area I want to work in forever...but I'm too poor to do another degree, too deep into this one to quit, and too inexperienced apparently to get a job anywhere! Like I've devoted my life to education, work experience and gaining qualifications just as society dictates you should...but I can't even get a simple part time weekend job at Greggs or PoundBakery because I "lack experience". 

It's like you're expected to have ten years of experience, a qualification in the area, a mystical scroll of knowledge handed down to you through your family and need to be a level 6 Jedi to work at Tesco. Or at least that's how it feels, so I'm just over stressing and worried lol.

Now I have a hilarious image in my head of me at an interview and when they ask "why do you think you're suited to this role?" and I just get my butt out and stare at them like "duh". 

Hah I'm just being depressive because I'm in my final year at college and I have no idea where I'm going next.
