8 years 7 seasons. 5 movies. 2 OVAs. A dedicated fan fiction website. A dedicated media archive. It's own social networking hub. Record setting convention attendances.

They must really suck at their jobs.

They're even worse than the people that dedicate their lives to hating SJWs.

  2. Once I can afford to get a Switch and a 2DS (may be some time):

Legend of Zelda: I only got to play the first two hours of Ocarina of Time and about a third of Link's Awakening. I find the games challenging, but fairly entertaining and designed extremely well in general. My brother loves the series to pieces (ESPECIALLY Ocarina of Time), so it'd give me more to relate with him on. I really want to play Breath of the Wild, as I've heard so much about itm, and have seen enough of it to peak my interest.

Metroid: I think I'd absolutely love it from the little I've played of Metroid Prime 2. Yeah, and that's supposedly worse than the first game in the sub-series. I also have watched a couple of speedruns of Super Metroid and enjoyed them. I'm really excited for the fourth Metroid Prime game.

Newer Pokemon Games: I haven't played any game after Gen 4, and really loved all of them, even my least favorite (Pokemon Gold). Gen 5 sounds like it would be up there for me, and I'm pretty fascinated with Gen 7.

Kirby: Planet Robobot: Absolutely necessary. I've been missing out as you can see, and I've heard this game is among the best in the entire franchise. That's saying something, for a franchise that consistently pumps out simplistic, but nonetheless great games.

Super Mario Odyssey: I almost forgot.

Once I can afford them on Steam:

Shovel Knight: I confess it, I've yet to play the game. But it sounds like an absolutely amazing game, and I really want it.

Shantae: I've played some of the first game on an emulator, and have really enjoyed it. I'm really looking forward to getting Half-Genie Hero.

Fallout 4: I've still yet to get it, but since completing my NCR playthrough of New Vegas, I've really wanted it (and I STILL haven't gotten it!). I really like the new perk system, and the factions seem intriguing, particularly in their philosophies.

As you can see, a LOT.

  3. 01. Grand Theft Auto games are terrible in general. Boring, repetitive, and bland.

    02. I can't stand Elder Scrolls games. They are too difficult, and have a tendency to get very repetitive. Fallout is good, though.

    03. Wesley Crusher is far from my least favorite Star Trek character. True, he got to be a bit aggravating and even idiotic at times, but I actually found his character likable most of the time when he isn't. Even then, Captain Janeway is much dumber.

    04. I don't like Greninja. I think his design looks stupid, mostly the tongue scarf.

    05. I hate Deep Space Nine. I think it's too much like a soap opera. It's my least favorite Star Trek series, by a longshot.

    06. I think that in "Honest Apple" Applejack was completely in character, and also that Rarity caused the conflict in the episode.

    07. I dislike Scootaloo. I think she's an inconsiderate jerk who completely doesn't fit in the CMC.

    08. Goldeneye 007 is a terrible game, and the people that love it have said plenty of times why themselves. The difficulty curve of the game is off, the game is poorly designed, and it has Superman 64 quality graphics.

    09. Marvel stuff in general is extremely cliche, and way overrated. I also don't like Superman for the same reason.

    10. "To Where and Back Again" is one of my favorite episodes of MLP.

    11. Starlight Glimmer is a well-written character.

    12. I don't like Star Wars, and liked it LESS after Disney bought out LucasFilm.

    13. William Shatner ruined Captain Kirk's character. It was done better in the JJ Abrams movies.

    14. Super Mario Brothers 3 is a pretty awful game, and Super Mario Bros. 2 was far better.

    15. Ronald Reagan is one of the worst presidents in US history, if not the worst. Most of the good he did was negligible, and this image describes my problems with him, almost perfectly (even with how much I don't like the source).

  4. I admit it:

    • I'm a lazy procrastinator. I have a way about not doing anything until it's almost too late.
    • I am probably the most socially inept person I've ever known. To the point where it has affected my ability to contribute to society.
    • I'm kind of dead inside, and have been that way for a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if I were diagnosed with clinical depression.
    • I'm very bad about not asking for help, even when I need it. Probably because even the thought of doing that makes me tense up.
    • My dad makes me very anxious and peeved. It's probably because he's kind of screwed me over, to put it nicely. His pipe dreams have screwed him over so much, that it's kind of doing the same for me. It doesn't help either that he has a way of being way overdramatic, especially about his condition. Constantly over-exaggerating it to the point to where I'm not even sure of the degree of his problems.
    • I'm extremely clumsy, to the point I couldn't even tie my own shoes until I was ten, or double-knot until I was in junior high.
    • I have a problem with anger, and have for a long time. I bottle it, usually to the point of uncontrollable rage.
    • I wish I lived with my brother. Although he has his own issues, they aren't as bad as my dad's. He could at least sort of support me financially, unlike my dad who can hardly make things work for himself, let alone me too.

  5. It was to make the game more worth buying, and require more investment. The limitations of the console made it difficult to really make a game have more in the form of content, so they accommodated by making the games a bit more difficult.

    Just now, Lore Finder said:

It was boring, portrays Kirby completely out of character (Kirby is a nice, friendly character who helps people out whenever he can, not some crazy person who will go on a rampage just for cake), got its facts wrong (king dedede had already redeemed himself by then), it's final boss was lackluster and didn't even have a second form, and it didn't deliver on its promises. All in all its my least favorite Kirby game. I mean, I can tolerate it, but unless I have to play it I definitely would not choose to play it.

No offense, but that made very little sense. Kirby doesn't even really have much of a character. In a way that's part of his appeal.

I've played four of the games:

I first played Kirby 64. I never finished it, got about to the point where you face HR-H. Really interesting mechanic in combining abilities, and I found the sort of 2.5D aspect of it really intriguing. The graphical design could have used some work, but can't expect much from 64-bit graphics for a 2.5D platformer. Though graphics don't concern me much. Solid 9.2/10 from me.

Then I played Kirby: Super Star Ultra. Absolutely fantastic game, honestly. I can see why I played this game for hours on end on my trip to Texas from Washington State. Nothing to say but excellent across the board, and I absolutely loved the challenge the additions in this remake made. It really made the game very substantial, even compared to the original. 9.6/10 from me, very well made.

I played Squeak Squad after that. I found the game not quite as good as Super Star Ultra, because I felt that it got a bit repetitive afgter awhile, and the final boss was honestly a disappointment. Nonetheless, it was otherwise good with few flaws at all. The fact it had an actual plot was also nice. 9.1/10 from me.

I then played a bit of Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, not much htough. It was the first Kirby game I didn't thoroughly enjoy playing. I found the multiple Kirby distracting, I was also heavily disappointed by the amount and quality of power-ups in this game compared to the others. It's not a bad game or anything, but in my opinion the stand-out from what I've played, in this case not a good thing, considering I find the other games I've played to be stellar. I think something like an 7.5/10 would suffice for rating.

I really want Robobot and wish I could get Battle Royale in the future (although the initial list of only 13 power-ups is a shame, I love the concept), but the shame in that is that I'm in such dire financial straits that the likelihood of that at any time soon is rather low.

  7. Captain Falcon (Smash Bros.)- Just feels weird to play. Can't exactly describe what I mean. Same goes for Ganondorf.

Teemo (League of Legends)- You know why if you've ever played the game, and it's especially obvious now that he's considered one of the best top laners in the game.

Lilith (Borderlands 1)- I just really don't like her action skill. Probably for the same reason speedrunners love it. It breaks the game and otherwise serves little purpose. Sure, Bloodwing is a pretty bad action skill without investment, but at least I can find a use for it.

Heavy (Team Fortress 2)- I find tanks in general to actually be a potentially enjoyable class, but the Heavy is an exception. Brain-dead, overly simplistic, and just downright boring to play. I even find Medic and Engineer (even with the fact I mained Barik in Paladins back before OB63) more enticing.

Elise (League of Legends)- A complicated jungler with a poor kit design and little lore. Exactly what I wouldn't want in my League of Legends main.

Inara (Paladins)- She's extremely boring, and honestly far overrated in the current meta. She's a pretty bad tank that does almost no damage, yet people insist she's OP. What? No shields, three poorly designed abilities, and one of the worst ults in the game. This is coming from an ex-frontline main.

The worst movie I've ever watched? I have to say the 1994 film Dune. It's so boring, the pacing is EXCEPTIONALLY BAD (Too slow at the beginning, too fast at the end), and the plot was either really simple or I didn't catch most of it because I wasn't able to pay attention to it because it's boringness made me drowsy, either way not a well-written story. Chicken Little would be probably number 2, and we all know how much of an atrocity it was.

Those are probably the only two exceptionally bad movies I ever watched.

This, but I would add Star Trek: The Final Frontier. The plot was downright stupid, it completely didn't fit in the series of movies,  and worst of all a quarter of it is wasted with Kirk, Spock, and Mccoy singing "Row Row Row Your Boat" or somebody making the stupidest remarks, or talking about who some people consider god. I feel like that was Shatner's fault, considering it's the only movie where he had any part in writing or directing. I'm glad he didn't do that again, because the sixth movie was probably the best one.

  9. I see three distinct possibilities:

    A. A future where we destroy ourselves with nuclear bombs. That future is highly likely considering how hawkish the US has been over the last forty years, and with just how many warheads we actually have. Also, you'd be surprised how EASY it would be to put the world in a nuclear apocalypse situation.According to this source of mine, it would take less than 2% of the US's nuclear stockpile... I already see a World War III scenario coming soon the way Trump seems to be trying to create an even worse relationship with North Korea, and how the world already deems the US to be the most threatening country to world peace. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this happens within the next few decades, as presidents like Trump and Obama pop up.

    B. A future where the world is ruled by corporations. This is actually already happening to the United States (if the repeal of Net Neutrality didn't make it blatantly obvious), and has been for a long time. I feel like this is the most likely scenario, as the US political climate shifts further and further to the right on all sorts of issues (source should surprise you). It's a really big problem because the right, no offense, don't really pay attention to the real threat to American prosperity. The real threat is not Islam, and it's not the fact "SJWs". Heck, it's not even the Democratic Party (though that's quite a bit more on the right track than the other two). The issue for America is the CORRUPTION. The big issue for America is the BIG CORPORATIONS who exploit capitalism for all it's worth. It's the DEFENSE CONTRACTORS WHO MAKE MONEY OFF OF WAR. The corporatocracy is what really needs to stop, and the only way to do that is to gain your own knowledge, find out for yourself how bad it is. A little independent thinking goes a long way, though society's lack of this makes me think that corporatocracy is the most likely future on this list, and honestly probably the worst one that we could have. After all, we'd have to live with it.

    C. An actually good future, forged by a society that became truly weary of their future. Actually more likely than you might think, after all, war and political revolution has a way of happening and succeeding when things get really tough for the people. I personally believe that this future would play out similar to the way it does in Star Trek. I still think this is the least likely of the three, but it still should get some mention.

  10. I will maintain that "Somepony to Watch over Me" is the best AJ-centric episode of the entire series. I have seen so mcuh hate for the episode, especially around the time it aired. It's literally never discussed anymore, and I don't understand that at all. IMO, it's the most insightful episode of the entire series, and was a very good episode for Apple Bloom's development as a character.

I agree with "Castle-Mania." Even in what became my favorite season, I'd say this episode was at least in the top seven or eight easily. The premise was interesting and it really delivered on it.

I plus one "To Where and Back Again." I've heard so much hate for the episode literally focused on the fact that Starlight, Trixie, and Discord were the main protagonists.

  11. I would remove the current "Cards Reforged" cards system from Paladins.

It's absolutely miserable. Basically to get your cards to a decent level now, you have to get 43 duplicates of them. Meaning since there are about 600 cards in the game, you'd need to collect at least 25,800 cards to get all of them on every champion. The worst part of all of it is that you CAN'T get cards unless you actually get a chest, which only gives you a maximum of 4 RANDOM cards (that's if you pay them to get the fourth slot). If you were the luckiest person alive, it would still take almost 6500 CHESTS TO GET THEM ALL.... You'll never get a tenth as many as that unless you BUY THEM. It turned the game into a complete sham, basically into a Pay 2 Win piece of trash. If you noticed, that's why it's gotten so many negative reviews recently. It's now pay to win. Of course it was to be expected because from my experiences with both Paladins and Smite, it's been made clear that Hi-Rez doesn't care about the people who play their games. They only care about their profits and the opinions of their management. Everyone who openly disagrees with them gets SILENCED on their forums. No joke.

What to replace it with? Oh I don't know... THE WAY THE CARDS SYSTEM WAS BEFORE THAT? Or perhaps the way it was BEFORE the way it was BEFORE that?
