    wow, this vid takes me back, i remember following the cup back then .. it was an amazing year for ps

    Now you've given me a bit of motivation, I might give it another try in the near future when I have nothing else to do ^_^.

     

    it's very fun.

     

    also yay, my pen parts came in, i made pinkie pen. Somehow it spins better than any of my previous incarnations of this mod.

    My only regret is being unable to find a pink colortwin marker body.. had to go with black. that may change in the future.

    Wow... I felt really incapable when I watched the video while coincidentally holding a pen ^_^! I wish I could do something like that, but I think I don't have the time to concentrate on something like that. I actually tried doing the thumb spin a while ago, but I didn't succeed for a while so I thought that my fingers are not meant for spinning :( .

     

    But that's a great job, don't stop now while it's already impressive! You never know how good you can get! :)

     

    well i never could have imagine i'd be at this level when i was just trying to get it to go around my thumb.

     

    I can tell you right now that bolded line is BS. i've seen people with all kinds of different fingers be amazing. Cloud traveler has sausages for fingers, but he got far in the world tournament. Pudels Kern has long, spiney fingers and he is amazing as well. It's all practice. But if you don't have the time that's reasonable, because thats why most people quit in the end.

    lol I would, but I'm dead on those forums :P used them once to figure out how to do a reverse TA back in the dark ages, then got it myself anyways. Haven't gone on there for about....7 months? Nice forum though. I use their wiki quite a bit.

    • You had always wanted to meet a celebrity. You'd fantasized about chatting with a real performer. An actress, a model, a princess. It didn't matter, as long as they were famous.

    • And powerful. You loved a pony with power, but you wouldn't go sharing that with everyone, for fear of being made fun of.

    • But that was secondary, because you had just finished seeing the grandest show of your life. There was a magician in town, a girl by the name of Trixie.

    • No, sorry, the Great and Powerful Trixie. She made that very clear during her show. The magnanimous performer was so strong, her words whipped like wind through your soul.

    • She had just grace, such incredible Sang-froid.

    • You simply had to meet her. So after the show was over, you snuck out to see her, at her covered wagon where she spent her nights between shows.

    • Slowly, carefully you pulled open the curtain and, to your shock, we was spread out on her bed, eyes focused on you.

    • "Oh, good, you're here. The Great and Powerful Trixie was beginning to think you'd never come."

    • She was, expecting you?

    • "Well, come here now. On your knees."

    • You do as she says. Something in her voice, the sheer strength in her words. You're enchanted. Slowly, like a cat stretches, she extends one hoof into your lap. You stare dumbfounded, for a minute, before she speaks,

    • "Well? What are you waiting for? The Great and Powerful Trixie demands her service."

    • You wrap your fingers around her hoof, dumbstruck. You never imagined you would, no this, this is too much. You can't take your eyes off of them. Her hooves.

    • You've never given a hoof massage before, and you never realized how soft they were. Were all pony's hooves this silken, this... magnificent?

    • No, you've decided that only her's could be so lusciously smooth. So creamy and..

    • "You like?" You look back up to her. Your Queen's eyes tell all. She knew how much you loved her hooves.

    • "We knew you would." Her eyes narrow, "No one can resist The Great and Powerful Trixie. You may continue."

    • You would have even if she had said no. You couldn't believe it. You were kneeling right in front of this goddess of a mare, massaging her tender, beautiful hooves.

    • "Mm, yes." She let a little cry slip her lips, "F-fine job."

    • Your hands work deftly, pushing deep into her quivering flesh. Her hoof becomes everything for just a moment, you work your hands higher, squeezing, pushing, up to her left flank, and her moans are all that drive you back into reality.

    • "Ah! Wh-where do you think you're putting your hands? Impudence!"

    • She pulls her hoof away, and you're stunned.

    • "You don't touch anything that The Great and powerful Trixie doesn't tell you to!" Her tone is commanding. Her words bite you, and you love it.

    • "Now, make amends to The Great and Powerful Trixie. Humble yourself."

    • She extends the hoof back, near your face. You stare into her pads for a moment, before her next command,

    • "Kiss it."

    • No, no you... You have to. Her voice has you spellbound. You take it in your hands, lifting it just slightly, and plant your mouth on it. Only quickly. Then again. Slowly, You lavish her hoof over and over with your lips.

    • Your mistress quivers, "Oh yes, yes! This is what we have waited for! You are simply, mmm."

    • She leans back further, and you need to scoot backwards to accommodate. You lean in again to kiss her hoof, but she draws it back, and places her other in your lap.

    • You look into her eyes, burning with sensual feeling. Then, you lean back and kiss her glorious hoof. Then again. And then your hands begin to work her. Pressing, rolling her soft, supple hoof.

    • You lose yourself in the work. Soon you hear her breathing become regular. Her moans cease. Your princess has fallen asleep. You carefully lay down beside her hooves, not brave enough to lay on level with her.

    • She rolls over. You can't tell if it's voluntary, but her waist rolls right into your arms. You curl around it holding her body close to your face.

    • And before you drift of to sleep, you feel the lightest kiss upon your head. And her voice,

    • "The Great and, I mean, I might need to keep you around. I need someone like you...."

    here's another video from the current world cup that's going on. I truly consider this man to be the most skilled pen spinner on earth, even though he was knocked out of the tournament 2011 in the semi-finals. He will have his day...

    I'm not sure if you guys will see this video the same way i do.. i can see the individual tricks as they're being done and imagine the monumental amounts of skill it would take to link them together like that. It's easy to tell he went all out because he only used one hand whereas he normally uses two, but by pushing the combo to his limit there was no place for hand switching (and the fact that this round was technical and hand switching is very unimpressive to the official judges, all being penspinners themselves...) I could seldom dream of having such perfect control, execution, and dare I say confidence. Just compare that reverse handaround he does at 0:14 with the ones I was doing, or even his spreads.

    pure atheist. nothing exists if i can't perceive it. religion to me is taking a fairy tale too seriously. Now I may be a hypocrite as at night my mind wanders to a mystical world filled with ponies, and I could swear they were real in some alternate universe, I want to believe that, but I can't rationally accept anything as fact without scientific proof. It's not a choice for me, it's the way my brain categorizes information. "True" "False"

    I was thinking about something, what is the two thingy you do with your fingers every time you're done?

     

    peace sign, it's traditional for penspinners. look up some combos and sessions by any other spinners, they usually end with peace sign. it signifies any number of things, a closure of the video because just ending with a trick catch is rather strange looking, or to just to show respect to an opponent or even to express the victory of performing an extremely powerful combo successfully after dropping it countless times (in the world tournament, for example, the best people in the hobby push their limits and it can take several days to a week for successfully performing a 20 second combo. by comparison, they can make a less impressive freestyle on the first try.). Still, people do different things, like people from hong kong like to finish with the fist in the palm.

    ALL MY PARTICIPATION.

     

    I used to be super into this stuff until I ran out of time....best trick is a Twisted Sonic Bust, most common is definitely TA harmonic, and I commonly do Wiper T1-->Pass T1-12-->Charge 12 (One rotation)-->Pass T1 Repeat.

     

    No one has any idea how excited I am to see this thread :3 :wub:

     

    i perform TA harmonics constantly with my pencil while writing, i'm quite surprised to see someone else here who is familiar with the lingo like you, seeing as it is primarily a foreign [read: non english speakers] hobby and they have seldom heard of ponies.

    I didn't like babycakes either. The fact that the baby pegasus flew better than fluttershy when it shouldn't even be possible to fly yet and the unicorn was performing spells that would have impressed twi (unicorns can fly?!) I really felt quite annoyed by it.

     

    Pinkie Pig was the only good part, for me. that and the change of heart at the end.

    That's a lot of shooting D: must have been a lot of editing as well :/

     

    yeah. i dropped it a lot recording that video because i was doing a lot of aerial tricks and advanced linkages like switch spreads, power passes, reverse hand-arounds, palmspins, etc.... if i stick to basic/easy tricks like fundamentals, wipers, swivels, basic arounds, i can get as much as a 40 second-minute long freestyle going for the first try of recording. of course it's much less interesting to watch..
