  1. Starts out nicely, but when I would expect that special epic lift off, it just passes by...

It is a lovely theme song for the battle scene, it is a work to be complimented, but I just feel like something is missing (like a cupcake without the proper frosting :))

(also the snare is a bit too lost in the bakground sometimes, and the ending feels out of place with the clean cut-off)

Thanks for the feedback! I'll be sure to keep it in mind in the future.^^

  2. It's a pretty good listen, but I'm not getting that Celestia vs. Luna vibe. It's more like..I don't know...like a dance party between the two sisters...

"What really happened 1000 years ago.." XD

If you hover your mouse over, it will tell you. If that is what you are asking. :P

Also, it has a nice punch to it. I can appreciate how, as it progresses, it varies in complexity and picks up a backup melody. Defintely going on my playlist.

Thank you! ^^ I really appreciate the compliment.

  3. Another great track from the wonderful Prism.~ I love it. Everything about it is just.. Wow. This sounds just like a professional quality track. Doing a lot better than a lot of the "Popular Bronies". Well done!

  4.

See, with electronic music, there's hardly any room for variance, due to the fact that there are so many repeats.

I'm sorry, but.. WHAT. Just because something loops doesn't mean there's a lack of variance. In Electronic Music, it's more about the energy flow in the track. You don't just have to have 5 billion super complex melodies in one song to have variance.

So, my friend, I listened to The Chase and I rather liked it. I almost freaked out because that chiming bell-ish synth sounds almost exactly like the melody to an upcoming song of mine. I really think that it's really good. I just think that if it was mixed and mastered better, it'd sound a lot cleaner. Other than that, I really enjoyed it! Keep at it!

So don't act like I haven't experienced, felt, or ignored any of the possibilities. Please take the directed objection towards me, and point it elsewhere.  Thank you.

I never implied you haven't. I don't really appreciate the aggression. If it was taken in offense, I apologize. I never meant to spark any loose emotions or anything, I was just trying to help you understand why.~

  6. For the most part, it sounds pretty cool. The synths don't really seem to match each other though, and the track sounds really empty. I think that the mix sounds really amateur and basic. I also notice that many sounds in the song fight each other for the viewer's attention. That's a clear sign that there should be more volume control on this track. I think that if you lower the volume of the sounds and keep the drums at the same label, the kick might be more clear. Overall, it's not too bad of a track, and I think you've improved from "Shadow Of Oppresion". ;)

  7. "Oh no, Twilight! Discord has taken over Equestria again, whatever shall we do?!?!"
"Don't worry! It's me! I am Lightning Danger Bolt Dash, brother of Princess Celestia, daughter of Princess Luna, and father of Luna & Celestia's father! I am also the commander of the Royal Guards, and the leader of the rebellion against Discord. I shall save you!"

If that made no sense : Basically, a flat character with no development, personality, enjoyable backstory, and ridiculous features and "dark past" would totally ruin MLP FiM. To have such a horrible character would almost totally ruin everything that makes MLP FiM good.

  8. 7/10 Pretty cool OST.

Hell yeah! Hard Rock Sofa bringing back great Progressive House. It's nice to see that they're still sticking with their style even with this irritating wave of crappy Big Room trending AND ruining the EDM scene.~

  9. Guys, please, stop. Animation and character designs/art work is NOT the same thing. AT ALL. I can't stress this enough. You can't talk about how good or how bad the animation quality is by simply mentioning the design work. The designs can of course influence the animation, but they're not the same thing. People use this argument all the time to suggest that on-going animes have better animation then on-going cartoons, and it simply isn't true. In fact, the animation quality in anime is often worse then the animation in Western cartoons.

    My hero. <3

I don't really understand why people take design as quality of animation. Animation is made for making things seem alive, after all. I guess it's just that people really miss the point of what animation quality is when there are so many aspects to an Animated TV Show.

  10. No way.

You see, the stile of character's portrayal is the part of animation (and its quality), too.

So, forgive me, but characters in "Adventure Time" look just sloppy. Like their creators didn't even try to draw something decent. And what Lauren Faust did looks like she new exactly what she wanted and how to get it.

    Style*

Also, the design of the characters has nothing to do with the animation. That's just character design. I don't really see any facts that support your point, either. I'll just guess you're angry because I made points about your pone show. (I never stated I watched Adventure Time or Gravity Falls, but I have seen some examples of the animation, and it looks just as smooth and fluent as MLP FiM's animation quality.).

  11. I agree. I don't see any distinctive quality to the animation compared to a show like, "Adventure Time", or "Gravity Falls". To me, all of these shows have the same animation quality. There's nothing really special about MLP FiM's animation, but I do appreciate how they try to improve the animation, and the hard work they've put into it. I find that people think that the animation is the best thing out there because it's MLP FiM. It's like any other bias. For example, I love Lady Gaga. This has created a large bias of my opinion of her. I find that she is the most talented Pop artist out there, right now, and one of the best (That is fact, though.). In other words, the more you like a show/artist/song/picture/character/etc., the more likely you'll find it to be significantly better than the rest. I don't think that MLP FiM is the best thing since sliced bread, but I appreciate the effort put into it, as well as the plots, character development, and soundtracks.
