For me, I'd deliver situational humor based on personal experiences. Really, a lot of the comedy comes from one's delivery and demeanor on stage. Seeming relatable and acting like a "stand-up" person helps in being a stand-up comic.

People say I have a somewhat stereotypical surfer dude accent. It's true, but come on duuuuuude.
