    So, I've saved up all my pennies and I'm going to treat myself new a new TV! 

    Any suggestions what I should get? I have a budget of no more than £200, Ideally I'd like 32" and it will be used primarily for my consoles. No idea where to even begin! So I'm hoping ya'll can help!

    Well I can say I really enjoyed my first comic con experience! It was better than expected and I got to shake hands with two of my favourite actors!!

    Howdy folks! For the first time ever, I will be attending comic con this year. I'm going to Liverpool comic con on Saturday 9th March. Anyone else going then? Basically, I wanna know what to expect? I'm not what you'd call a hard core geek. I have an interest in the likes of star trek and other syfy stuff but not enough to warrant the title of hardcore fan! Any insight would be much appreciated!

    I suppose it depends on how well the show is crated. If we get a show to the same quality level as FiM (like the character development, humour and plots that appeal to most) then it has the possibility to be as good as Fim is (though I doubt it'll be better...) Regardless of the shows quality, I think a large part of this fanbase will give G5 a chance before deciding ether it's worth our time or not. However times, they are a changeling (get it! XD) and I see 2 possible outcomes: 1. The brony community thrives with a load of new members from G5. 2. The Brony fandom steadily declines until not much remains of it, though I hope this aint the case!

    Well. Just had a huge argument with my dad. I cannot wait to move out... just gotta get that pay rise!

    Like a reward for my work, life is providing me with one of those blissful moments...

     

    I'm sat at my desk, brew in hand- The temperature is perfect. I'm casually browsing the forums with the soothing voice of Willie Nelson playing quietly in the background.

    Life is good! 


    How's it going for all of you? Hope you stateside ponies aren't too cold! I hear it's getting pretty bad across the pond!

      My day went pretty well. Spent some time throwing darts after I got off work. Great way to unwind.

      It's quite chilly even in the southeast U.S.

    I could go on and on explaining in precise details why I watch the show and why I enjoy it so much. But, so ya'll don't get bored I'll keep it short and sweet. Overall there are 4 reasons why I watch the show: 1. It's an escape from the mundane reality that is life. It sounds depressing but being able to escape to a world of peace, friendship and adventure after a long day of dealing with, well, idiots XD 2. Considering the show's original target demographic; The show is Incredibly well written Characters are incredibly well developed- i love how the mane 6 are learning friendship lessons along with the audience, it makes me feel closer to them, ya know? The design is colourful and friendly to the eye The story plots are enticing, providing a blend of adventure, happiness, sadness etc 3. Episodes that stand out above not just other FiM episodes but other TV shows such as The Perfect Pear or a Slice of life 4. The fandom (Thats you guys!) The fandom to me is like a family. We're all so different yet our opinions on the show bring us together. I can say for certain I have made friends for life on here! (I said I was keeping it short... Guess I got carried away! )

    Well I'm sat here with one finger in bandages ( I got it caught in a fan belt today, lucky I've still got the finger!) whilst on the other hand, I've broken my thumb, making it very hard to type. 

    Needless to say I'm feeling very sorry for myself. But! It's friday soon and I have a nice evening of ponies ahead of me to keep my mind from the pain!

      Yikes! I hope your injuries heal quickly. Sucks when that sort of thing happens. Don't worry though! As they say, ponies are a great healer! ... Or is it time? Whatever! Both work I'm sure!

      Anyway, I'm doing pretty good, thanks! Currently have my feet near the radiator and keeping nice and warm. :-P
