That new Kirby game, “Dream Buffet”, is looking cute as heck

I may not be able to take scrumptious looking food pics, but believe me when I say that I just ate the best Asian cuisine I’ve ever had in my life. It was the most perfect serving of teriyaki chicken I’ve ever had, both the taste and plating were worthy of Michelin Stars.
I also had my first ever boba tea! It was red bean flavor with coconut jelly. My gosh it tasted amazing! I wish I could drink that stuff by the carton or even gallon!

I spent so many days and nights literally crying over a fanfic I wrote (and orphaned) on AO3 because of how much I regretted writing it… only to check the stats for the first time in months to find out that it’s actually really popular.
All this time I was crying over it because I worried about doing my favorite ship a serious injustice by writing something that I thought was embarrassing and cringey, only to find out that tons of people absolutely loved it.
It’s almost like people sensed the immense passion I felt while writing it and it touched their hearts. I’ve never understood why my writing has always been so highly regarded by other people. Personally if you asked me, I’d say that I’m a mediocre writer, but the stats on all of my fanfics are fairly impressive and numbers don’t lie.

Disappointed and confused. I had to uninstall a pretty decent, fun mobile game (called “ReFantasia”) because I was experiencing weird motion sickness-like symptoms whenever I played it.
Whenever I played it, my eyes would get really swollen and watery and I’d start feeling very drowsy, like I was about to fall asleep in the middle of the game. But after turning off my tablet and spending time away from the screen, my symptoms would disappear and I’d start feeling normal again.
It’s so strange how I had no problems whatsoever with playing games like Genshin Impact and Pokémon Legends Arceus , which are very graphics-intensive. Those games didn’t bother me at all, but a simple, forgettable mobile game with 2.5d wobbly/bouncy anime girl graphics was enough to give me some type of motion sickness…

I wish The Arcana had a console release. That way I could play it forever instead of facing the possibility of losing the chance to play it after it became part of a merger with a smaller, shady company.
Speaking of video games… I wonder if/when we’ll get a remake of the Gen 5 Pokémon games? That would really make me feel weird considering that they were the last main series games in the franchise to use pixel art before permanently switching to 3D from Gen 6 onwards.

Very annoyed. Why does it always seem like my family is too busy to spend time with me whenever I’m lonely, but they all pile into the kitchen and surround the fridge whenever I just want to grab a quick snack and then be left alone? (rhetorical question)

Ok thank you! I think I'll get a build a bear hoodie and see if that fits. Thanks for your time!
You’re welcome! Glad I was able to be helpful to you!

Yesterday evening I bought a small plushie of Johngalli A from JJBA Stone Ocean. His seller is located in a nearby state, so he shouldn’t take longer than a day or two to arrive at my house once he ships.

I used to cry in secret for years, because my older sister once yelled at me for crying in front of her (she admits that she’s “not the nurturing type” even though she raised four kids)
But then, my brother recently moved back home with me and my parents due to housing costs. I’m very close to my brother, he’s the only person who I feel like I can always be completely honest with and share my genuine feelings with. I cried a lot in front of him when he first moved back home because I’d been bottling it up for so long. He was very patient with me, he understood me.
Now I’m not afraid to be honest about my feelings and I promised to tell my family whenever I’m struggling.
I completely agree with OP that crying is much better than anger because anger winds up hurting other people. I personally believe that society needs to normalize crying and asking others for help.

Hmm I would maybe try Build A Bear clothes? I used to have a 4de Rainbow Dash plushie and I vaguely remember her proportions, and it seems like Build a Bear would be a good place to start. American Girl doll clothes might also be a good thing to try.

I would consider myself a furry, albeit a casual one. It’s not a huge part of my identity or anything like that. I just think furries are neat.
I don’t really have a fursona per se, but I do have a furry OC who is quickly becoming a sort of “mascot”-type character for me. He’s part of an open hybrid species called Kittydogs, originally created by Kittydog Crystal, who is a well-known animator.
here’s a picture of my “mascot” that I quickly whipped up in IbisPaint X using a base I found on DeviantArt:-

I’m so soft my nickname might as well be “Marshmallow”. I cry easily, sleep with plushies, my bedroom is painted pink… can’t get much softer than that!

Ughh I feel like I’ve been run over by a truck
I’ve definitely got some type of sickness going on. No specific symptoms besides just feeling very tired, chills, body aches, headaches, etc. I can barely formulate thoughts on social media, thinking feels like too much effort. Maybe I should just log out of everything for the day and go watch anime or YouTube or something…

Awkward. Nothing worse (in a social situation) than telling a “hilarious” joke that nobody laughs at
Tough crowd
No wonder my family discouraged me from doing stand-up comedy

I once ate half a dozen air fried Twinkies in one sitting. I didn’t get sick but I did get a charley horse-like cramp in my stomach. Don’t try this at home, folks.

How are you feeling?
in General Discussion
Refreshed. I slept really well last night, and I’m ready for another day.
