Early Sunsets

I like to think I'm pretty good at saxophone (in school I fit into that category of "not as good as the music majors, but as good as or better than everyone else." As long as we're talking strictly symphonic and marching band music, anyway. I'm hot garbage at jazz), I can kind of play clarinet, I can play scales on most brass instruments, and I remember the keys on piano but not well enough to actually play anymore. Haven't touched a piano since elementary school (I've got crazy long fingers, so maybe I should start again). I also really want to learn guitar, but I don't have the money for one right now.

Nope, he's a very very very light shade of gray. I usually just say he's white since that's close enough anyway, and simpler to say / explain.

Tired, nervous, and surprisingly a bit excited. I have orientation for my job at FedEx this morning. I didn't sleep because I couldn't find a form I needed and was really stressed, but thankfully I got it. Now I just have to not collapse at my orientation 

Also, very extremely hungry. It's something kind of weird I've noticed. The less sleep I get, the hungrier I am the next day. Obviously having not slept, I'm starving. Need to eat breakfast.

My favorite started is Charmander, since that was my first starter.

My favorite Pokémon overall are Ninetails, Lugia, Latios, Latias, Absol, Umbreon, Sylveon, Gardevoir, and midnight Lycanroc.

Hmm, probably Steve Irwin. I'd steal all his diving gear and give it back the following day.

I wouldn't mind. I'd commission some myself, but I have other financial priorities right now.

A bit lazy the past few days. I think I'm burning out again. Really need to force myself to stick to that "no more than five hours of work per day" rule.

If it's a band I really love I usually listen to whole albums, maybe minus a song or two that I don't really like (MCR, PTV, and Princewhateverer come to mind. I like the vast majority of their songs, so I usually end up listening to whole albums). If not, then I just pick songs that I like. There are quite a few bands or artist who only have one song I like.

This song has been stuck in my head a lot lately for some reason (I guess it's technically two songs, but they're really just two parts of the same song).

It's close between vampires and werewolves, but I think I like vampires a bit more. I definitely like dragons way more than either of them, but I consider them creatures, not monsters.

The only things I can really think of that I dislike about the culture of the US are overindulgence (with food obviously, we have a lot of morbidly obese people, but also with items. If you're struggling to make ends meet, you don't need to buy that Gucci belt or iPhone XS. Use your brain), and the obsession with celebrities. Keeping up with their lives is fine, but we don't need celebrity stories plastering the front pages of nearly every news site and newspaper (if anyone still reads newspapers). Oh, and can we count education as culture? Because our education system is complete dogshit.

Everything else I dislike are more just human problems. They're problems everywhere because humans in general are inherently awful creatures, myself included. Every single person on this planet is horrible to some degree. But looking at culture differences (and other stuff, like laws and geography and such), I'm really glad I live in the US. We still have those "human problems," as every country does (many have them worse than we do), but the good is enough to outweigh the bad. For me, at least. I actually really love our culture, though I get that some people don't.

I cracked an egg into the trash once. I was probably really tired (as I am every morning).

My bari sax, I think. It's a Conn 12m made sometime in 1963-1964, soon before Conn moved their factories to Mexico (the decision that led to the company's eventual "death"). It's absolutely beat to shit, but it still plays fairly well, and I've been told I was louder on it than a lot of brass players at my high school. The thing sounds like a chainsaw at that volume thanks to the mouthpiece and oversized resonators, but I love it.

I said it once, and I'll say it a million more times: Applejack and Rainbow Dash have terrible chemistry. It just doesn't work. They work great as friends, but go past that and they start butting heads way too much. Characters (or people) who are that similar very rarely work in a serious relationship. I don't really like any mane 6 x mane 6 ship, but that's by far my least favorite.

Rainbow and Fluttershy have pretty decent chemistry imo, Twilight works at least okay with basically any character, and (season 9 finale spoilers below, I guess. Just finish watching the show already, the finale aired almost a year ago)

If we're including Starlight as a mane character, I've always been torn between Trixie and Sunburst. I feel like her chemistry with Trixie is better, but she has that whole foalhood friends thing going with Sunburst, and I'm an absolute sucker for that kind of thing.

I use Irish Spring original body wash, Head & Shoulders classic shampoo, and a somewhat coarse washcloth. I've also wanted to try exfoliating since it might solve or at least help with a few small skin issues I have, but I can't really justify spending that much money on a minor problem right now.

I think she's a pretty good character with some great songs, but what I like most is her design. Her main outfit and the outfit she wears while freaking out before the performance look really cool and would probably be awesome as cosplay.

Booker is just me (as seems to be the common theme), or rather, what I want to be. Hair style and eye color are the same, same scars, if I ever dyed my hair it'd be that shade of red, he has the piercings I want (I'm considering adding more), and I wanted to pick a neutral color for his coat since I only really wear neutral colored clothes, so I went with a very very light shade of gray. Basically white, but not exactly. Personality-wise, he's just a version of myself with milder anxiety.

I can only really sleep on my back, and it takes me forever to fall asleep. Depending on the night, it can be anywhere between one and three hours before I fall asleep, sometimes longer. Usually less than two.

The main reason I picked pegasus is because I love wings. I just think they look really cool.

I wouldn't want to move out of America (It's not perfect here, but it's better than anywhere else. Just needs a little work), but if I absolutely had to leave for some terrible reason, probably either Canada or Japan. Not going to Europe, definitely not going to South America, Africa, or mainland Asia, and Australia has too much terrifying wildlife. Canada would be the easiest move since it's right next-door, but if I put in the effort to learn a new language, I think I'd love to live in Japan much more.

I watch a lot of his videos.

Nanny McPhee Returns. I really like those movies. Too bad the third one was cancelled.

In MechWarrior 5 Mercs, basically everything. PGI sucks at this type of game. Subpar writing, terrible enemy spawn mechanics, lazy difficulty increase (they literally just make harder enemies take reduced damage, rather than increasing their accuracy, giving them higher tier weapons, or changing their loadouts, to name a few examples. Character leveling operates the same way), etc. At least they've gotten the 'Mech on 'Mech combat pretty decent, which I guess is the main point of the game anyway, and it's the only reason I bought the game.
