    I don't know if I believe in there being one. But if I were to have one, I'd say I'd want it to be working towards being happy and content with as little as possible.

    Younger me used to thrive under pressure when it came to work and other things in my personal life. These days I prefer not to be put in that situation in the first place cause I get stressed out more easily, but sometimes it can't be helped and I wish I could hold my composure as easily as I could before.

    I'm fine with needles, but something about the suction of the syringe really messes with me. I can't explain it. In my head I keep thinking the vein will collapse or something else that probably doesn't make sense.

    I'm straight, but the idea of love has no boundary for me. I sometimes find other women very pretty and don't allow myself to put up barriers like jealousy when I feel that way. Or at least I try to most of the time.

    I don't think so. I'm fine with my name. But I use my name when I'm in my home country and the anglicized version of it when in English-speaking countries because it's hard for them to say.

    My own emotions... These days I feel like when I get upset at something or someone, it's my own subconsciousness adding negative labels or just not seeing the bright side of something of the thing or person and it feels like such a fundamental flaw that I didn't used to struggle with. But just knowing that helps. Trying to be a wholly positive person is so very hard but I feel like that's what the world needs of me more than anything, even if it's really hard now. There's not enough of it going around anymore.

    I do like to cook, yes. Sometimes I don't always have time for it so my husband will cook but most days I make our meals.

    English and Latvian are my native languages, and I understand Lithuanian and Russian well enough to get by. I would like to learn more Spanish and French for when I'm in North America but it's more effort than I've been willing to put into learning.

    Sometimes it feels more appropriate step away from something lovely before the memory of it has a chance to get ruined. 'Cause when people are involved, it's only a question of when, not if.

    Lots of people, fortunately and unfortunately. The area I live in has recently gotten more popular due to rising living costs in the city and the footpath outside has gotten much busier than it was before. I miss the peace I had before, but for the most part things aren't quite so bad yet so I'll be thankful for that at least.

    I was born in December. On a day that ended in 'day'. (I don't know what day it was, couldn't be bothered to work it out.)

    God took his time with bears. They can outrun, out swim and out climb people. They have the strongest sense of smell of any animal too, so they would know you're there long before you know they're there. But they're one of my favorite animals, I think most bear species are very cute and very stoic but I would definitely not want to encounter one in person. I think some of the scariest animals are the dangerous ones that are often too small to see. Parasites like ticks and mosquitos, or other small things like spiders that can be taking refuge in your shoes or clothes, protozoan parasites in natural water. Any tiny creatures that can cause you harm. No thank you.

    I remember there being way more buzz about it in the media than around me. I was just out of high school at the time, and there was a pretty thick air of skeptical apathy from myself and my friends about the whole thing. The first of January came, nothing happened, then it passed pretty quickly.

    I spend most of my time on Reddit. Very rarely I'll come here or to another forum if I'm bored enough.

    I know it was just kind of a silly topic but I actually think about it a lot. How often I might theoretically cross a moral line and not feel bad about it.

    My husband and his mates are playing some football video game and I'm in our bedroom with my laptop, bored enough to post here about it.

    One thing zombies or humanoid things like them would inspire is an idea of how monstrous we could become as a species. You take what makes a human human and then replace it with a feral, animalistic urge to destroy what it was. Things like Frankenstein's monster worked so well because it played on this kind of idea, and if it were a standalone concept, the ruination of humanity by turning everyone into mindless cannibals is really something. But I agree, it's been so overused as an easy element for dystopian settings that now anything with a zombie horde in it feels about as similar as the last thing you saw it in.
