Well, I just found out that voice actress Philece Sampler has sadly passed away on July 1 due to a fatal heart attack. She was 67 and from her voice over roles, I recognized her as the voice of Mimi Tachikawa in the English dubs of Digimon Adventure 01, 02, Revenge of Diaboromon and the Adventure Tri. films and also as Sylvia in the English dub of the Viewtiful Joe anime.
Finding out about it here took me by surprise and did leave me feeling sad inside, but... At least she's in a better place now. R.I.P. Philece.

With how popular the manga and show are, I figured I'd at least try to bring something to the table. I'll go first. My quirk: Super speed. Besides being able to run at incredible speed and deliver rapid punches and kicks on foes, my quirk allows me to learn new things rather quickly if needed. It would also grant me a surprisingly high metabolism rate, allowing me to eat with almost no limits. My pro-hero name: Quickster -

Terminator: Resistance. I'm actually enjoying it quite a lot despite it starting to crash on me (Had three crashes in just under 24 hours when at a loading screen). It is basically to the Terminator franchise what Alien: Isolation was to the Alien franchise. -
Okay, first up, I didn't know she was that old, and second, hearing about this just now is causing me to cry on the inside. R.I.P. Philece. I'll always remember her as the voices of Mimi and Cody in the English dub of the Digimon Adventure storyline (save for Last Evolution Kizuna in which Mimi was voiced by Kate Higgins while Cody was voiced by Bryce Papenbrook). I also do remember that she voiced Sylvia in the English dub of the Viewtiful Joe anime.

I've been enjoying the heck out of Terminator: Resistance since I started playing it despite having it crashed on me three times in just under 24 hours. It's basically the Alien: Isolation of Terminator games with a light mix of Fallout elements (Lockpicking, hacking, earning XP to level up and upgrade your skills, etc.).

Peni Parker is Izzy Moonbow, Donut Lord is Hitch Trailblazer and freaking Samurai Jack is Alphabittle! THAT is a solid voice cast! -

Got a two-fer for this status update:
#1. I binged the last few episodes of Dinosaurs on Disney+, including the dark series finale, "Changing Nature". 27 years later since the show ended and the ending still hurts like a punch to the gut, emotionally speaking. Needless to say, I have now watched the entire series, and man has it aged well.
#2. With the 2021 Steam Summer Sale going on, I did buy plenty of games and DLC that I wanted to get, which includes the following:

Edit: Sent out a refund request for Ion Fury after finding out that despite the game having full controller support, the insane speed in which the camera moves when using the right stick made it unplayable for me.

The sentencing for Derek Chauvin is in. He's gonna be spending a grand total of 22.5 years in prison.
Justice has been rightfully served.

Good. I didn't really follow this whole thing too much myself, and others I know seemed way more emotionally attached to this issue than I could really grasp, but I do know one thing, and that's that this was clearly murder. I have both veterans and police officers in my family. They've told me that what he performed is a military maneuver to incapacitate or straight up kill a person. What he would've been taught in police training would be a knee on the man's back just to restrict his center of balance, and keep him in place. But he was not doing that, he was doing the military maneuver I just described. That's murder to me, and I'm pretty sure everyone including that jury agrees.
And I don't personally believe murderers should be able to walk away from that. -

After being disappointed with Windows 8/8.1, I actually saw Windows 10 as a major improvement and my go to Windows OS after Windows 7. So, yeah, I'll probably upgrade to Windows 11 since it still has support for DirectX 12.

Can you believe that it's been 25 years since the Nintendo 64 first came out in Japan? I still have mine from 1998, and that was my first ever game console.
