    Now that I think about it, the description said a 'familiar figure', not a 'familiar princess' or 'familiar pony' I know it's a small detail (possibly even a nitpick), but I think it makes sense that'd it'd be someone that's not a pony. Plus, I think it'd be interesting to see the lord of chaos return after who knows how long

    Finally! Finished the character art for my new OC. Man was it harder than I thought I figured that since Phantom Skies is a bat pony, why not draw her hanging upside down on a tree just like Flutterbat? (Which honestly was a bit more of a challenge than I thought. Both drawing the tree and her upside down) Also, I decided to have her eyes glow yellow when she's using night vision (Edit: I kinda realised that I might've accidentally made her look a little more menacing than I thought. That wasn't intentional, I swear)

    I chose unicorn. The ability to use magic just seems interesting to me, as well as the possibilities of unicorn magic in MLP Also, I kinda cheated by giving my OC the ability to spawn creatures made of magic, along with the ability to ride on them. So... I think I ended up negated flight and strength from that alone

    Edge of Dawn - Fire Emblem Three Houses (I sorta debated internally whether this works or not because in some places, it was called 'The Edge of Dawn', so I wasn't sure. If not, let me know and I'll find a song to replace it)

    Why does the title sound as if the fandom died at one point? I can't say for certain about G5 considering we only have the movie and the news about the upcoming G5 didn't feel very exciting or impactful (yet at least), but I think Hasbro will at least have something to keep the fandom intrigued

    I came up with Dusky Wings when I first got into the show and wanted to make an MLP OC. I just wrote down what I want for his character and I drew him out from those. I also had to do a bit of experimenting with the design and color to get the OC I wanted, which is how I ended up him. As for Reality Check, I wanted to make a ponysona that I can base myself IRL, mostly 'cause I thought Dusky Wings was too far off from my real self. So I did the same process, while also including some elements of my real-life self, such as the hat, black mane, and the affinity for digital art

    Reality couldn't help but cringe at Mango's jokes. Instinctively, he covered his smile with his sketchbook, hoping none of them would notice. At first, he didn't notice her jesture to him since he wasn't looking, but then he heard Dusty talk about his friends, which made him look up. After noticing that Mango was looking at him as well, he put down his sketchbook. "The only one I considered as a friend back then was Izzy. We hung out with each other a lot, we'd usually do a lot of arts and crafts with each other... Well, mostly Izzy, she tells me about her ideas for what to make and I just sketch them out." Reality explained. "Other than her however, I don't really have any other friends. Most of the time, I'm either drawing on my sketchpad or spending time in the cafe."
