  1. I wonder if this episode is an allegory for requests and commissions, cause that's the kind of vibe I'm getting. Rarity wanting to do something for her friends is something I can believe, mostly because it's a sort of gift giving. Gifts can come in all shapes and sizes, whether it's a dress or heck, a table that they fashioned themselves from someone. (Yes I'm going that far) Though I can't help but wonder how long did it take for Rarity to make all those dress since I find it kinda hard to believe that she could make them in one day. Now I want to talk about the mane 6, mostly notably on their taste when it comes to clothing. One thing I find weird is that Fluttershy would know so much about sewing even though we've never ever ever seen her sew anything. Maybe she made a few blankets for her animal friends and learned to make more for the other? Maybe I should try to head cannon it? Also, I think the reason they didn't think much when they first saw it is because they imagined it looked good. Simply put, they thought they were pretty on paper, but in reality, they're none of that. I can imagine Suited For Success being an episode that almost no one in the fandom hates. The song is great, the animation is nice to look at, and the moral is something I imagine plenty of artists can relate when it comes to request and commissions. Nothing is exactly what you want, and that's what makes the final product enjoyable.
  2. I think most people who watch the show many times forget that
  3. Funny enough, I actually discovered the term 'pegasister' a few days ago. I didn't care much about it since I'm more familiar with thinking both genders as 'bronies'. As for which to call, I don't really care, people should call them whatever they want
  4. I don't really mind it since G5 is meant to looking be a bit more realistic. Besides, I don't they'd look right if their hooves were full-on fur
  5. Interesting, kinda give people an idea on what their personalities could possibly be like
  6. First off, true enough Second, great, something for April fools day
  7. *finished watching the episode* So Rainbow and Applejack has a rivalry with each other. Huh, some how I see it happening. Where to start? I can absolutely believe that RD and AJ would have competitions with one another, mostly since they're both strong in their own rights, one being a strong flyer and the other being strong in more general terms. Also, I got to wonder if this was how their friendship started, they first became rivals, then overtime began to get along and became friendly rivals. I think that would be an interesting way to start a friendship between the two. I think the one thing that confuses me is that there is a tradition for making the leaves fall. Don't leaves normally fall on their own? Though in some ways, it kinda makes sense since it does symbolises that Ponyville is found by earth ponies. Also, I got to wonder why there are plenty of obstacles in the path to begin with, especially when ponies racing that could potentially trip, hit, get lost, or get stuck by them, and considering that there are many of them, I'd say chances are that at least one of them is likely to get hurt like Applejack and Rainbow Dash. I've got my hangups on the tradition of the running of the leaves, like some scenes that don't seem to makes sense to me and one scene where I can't help but notice some adult humour slipped in. Still, not a bad way to introduce a rivalry between the two ponies.
  8. Kinda, I can understand why she would bully others from her backstory and the kind of parents she grew up with
  9. To everyone, what's your top running speed at? Not including any sort of vehicle or outside help
  10. Not really, I can't control how I dream, so maybe some day
  11. I actually wanted to call this 'call of the crusaders' instead of by its original name, though I think the episode would be slightly misleading in that case. Apple Bloom wanting to get her mark as soon as possible is something I can see some people IRL doing, wanting something that everyone has just so you feel can feel comfortable under a certain environment. She's basically experiencing a kind of conformity, and that's what I like about the episode. I think it's a bit like discovering your talent, it's not something you can just force out but is rather done by letting it out naturally. It's something that requires a bit of patience and practice. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were easily the ponies I can see people not liking in this episode, they're your typical bullies that pick on others because they have something that you don't or think something you do is considered to them as abnormal, lame, pathetic, etc. Not exactly ponies that are considered role models or ones you want to hang out with. Still, I'd say I'm a bit curious about the kind of bullies they are and what their standards are aside from just picking on ponies without their cutie marks. And finally, we've got a new set of characters ready, that being the CMC. I can imagine people watching this wanting to see where they'll go with them and how they'll develop over time. At the same time, I think I'd feel that way if this was my first episode.
  12. Ok, how about if someone from the wonderbolts asks you for a challenge? or is that not allowed?
  13. I think it’s good. Other than a few grammar errors, I like the story ‘cause it’s somewhat easy to imagine the scenario, as well as they’re personalities. Also, I suggest that you describe the character’s entire look early on, it’s just so readers can visualise them better than just looking through to know what a character's mane or claws are like
  14. Oddly enough, all of them have actually ticked me at least once, though most of them by Pinkie Pie and Applejack
  15. Winter Wrap Up is great, need I say more? First is the song, I think it's fair to say everyone likes to listen to this song, 'cause let's be honest, who doesn't like the song? It's catchy, fun to listen to, what more do you need? It also set the moral dilemma, which bring the second thing I like, Twilight having to break away from traditions back at home and conforming to new ones. This is something I can believe, her magic is something she relied on many times, plus the fact that it's literally her talent, but due to the traditions that were set in Ponyville, she can't do that. Plus, Canterlot is home to many unicorns, so it makes sense that she's not used to not using her magic. It's like how some people are so used to doing things based on culture that it's hard to conform to other methods. Now for my gripe of the episode, first being Spike. Every time he laughed at Twilight's expense, I just can't help but dislike him a bit, especially when he's supposed to be supportive. Sure he does at some points, but I don't feel like it's enough to make up for that. Then, there's also the mane 6. Before I go on, I'll say first that I can believe in their reasons for not asking Twilight for help, she's not used to their traditions yet, but even so, I feel like they could've encouraged or teach her about doing it without magic, but then again, we wouldn't get the argument that comes after in that case. This episode is one that I feel a lot of people in the fandom would enjoy, and there's a good reason for it. The song was great, so was the moral, and the visuals are a sight to be hold. It's a great episode and there are many reasons why.
  16. Two theories: transfiguration or a spell that let's her summon it whenever she wants
  17. How often would you say you visit MLP forums?
  18. Not yet, I still got some episodes I plan to watch sooner or later
