I believe that G5 will shed FIM's escapism of modern technological issues. FIM has had its own technological world for the last decade, and it can feel like it is time to let modern technology shine.

For me, the best EQG movie is Rainbow Rocks. Strong plot, amazing music, great plot development, and the Dazzlings.

For me, G5 seriously feels like a mediocre fanfiction series.

Interesting. If she is a descendent of Sombra, could she turn into a cloud of darkness? Oh help me if Izzy turns out to be related to the Shadowy Alicorn or Sombra.

I love the animation (except for the eyes) and the songs, but I hate the story-writing and some of the characterizations. Also, did they think casting celebrities as the voice actors for the main characters in the opening movie wasn't going to make things worse? That is one of the worst voice-acting decisions I have ever heard. Izzy. What did they do to Izzy, especially after the movie.

Considering G5 is the successor of G4, I think it is likely that it will continue to feel lackluster, but hopefully it will be enjoyable like G1 and My Little Pony Tales are.

For me, G5 is feeling lackluster right now but we will be able to see things we're able to before, so let's continue to see.

It is my favorite EQG special even though I hate how Wallflower blush was treated as a character.

I don't like the eyes of Starlight's human form as they don't express her character well. She is way more nervous than they might suggest, and they don't match her eyes in pony form. I like Sunset's human design more than her Pony design, and the eyes of both forms match. I think would bave been cute if they incorporate kites onto her outfit, maybe as a jacket pin. I don't like show Pinkie is treated like a total victim though she could've also learned the the lesson of flexibility and consideration like Sunset did.

I don't like she is treated like such an innocent victim when she is so far from that. Also, I don't mind the clothes, but the hair? It's way too unkempt to not attract attention.

I love Sunset Shimmer as she shows a realistic bully redemption arc. Also, she is so beautiful with a great voice, and a lovely foil to Twilight as the former pupil of Princess Celestia.
