I am a huge Tolkien fan! My teen years were basically dedicated to the Lord of the Rings. I'm not going to lie, I watched the Peter Jackson movies before reading the novels, but they are hands down my favorite movie trilogy. 

I have read all three Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and the Silmarillion. 

Can't wait for the Hobbit to come out ^.^

I'm soooo tired.

I love how some characters are omitted from this list. Where is Twilight Sparkle, or Celestia? I don't hate these characters mind you, I don't even dislike them; It's just an observation.

Alright, I've been reading this topic and I just have to get my two cents in. First off, you should be very proud of yourself; I'm serious man, you are a damn prodigy. You have already achieved so much at your age it's astounding.  

Your father however, I cannot comprehend. I simply can't imagine a person so selfish that he can look at someone as accomplished as you and be ashamed that you watch a cartoon show. I'm sorry for saying this but it needs to be said; your father is seriously the worst kind of person. 

Don't blame yourself over his condition; It is his own bleak and narrow minded view of the world that has gotten himself into this situation. It is entirely his fault, not yours. 

I just don't know how a guy like you can come from such a lowlife. 

Keep your head up man, and don't let him control you like that.

 

“Oh, um alright, Just some popcorn will be fine...” Fluttershy Replies. You go up to the counter and order a large Popcorn to share.

you get your popcorn and head into the theater, taking your seats next to Dash and Eljordo.

“Finally.” Dash whispers. “I was afraid you weren’t going to make it.”

“I’m Sorry.”

“Shh! It’s Starting!”

 

The movie begins. It is based on the fourth book in the Daring Do series, ‘Daring Do and the Golden Unicorn.’ wich tells of Daring’s adventure into a chain of uncharted islands populated by cannibal Zebras in search of a golden statue of a unicorn filly. Fluttershy is enraptured by the adventures on the screen, and clings to you tightly during some of the scarier parts. Dash, on the other hoof, seems only mildly impressed with the whole thing. quietly voicing her disapproval at several places where the film departs from the source material.

 

After the movie ends, The four of you hang out afterwards to discuss what you thought of it.

 

So, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Eljordo, (sorry if I spelled it wrong.) What did you think of the movie? I didn't read any of the books and I wasn't sure if it continued from another story before it, so I was just plain confused. Plus, when the zebras appeared, all I could think was how crazy they acted compared to Zecora. *looks over towards Fluttershy* and you seemed pretty scared thoughout the movie. Are you alright? I'd be happy to walk you home if you are scared and if that is alright with you. *sticks out his hoof*(OOC) if you have Fluttershy say yes, I have an idea as to what we could say during the walk to Fluttershy's. Maybe even Angel can make an apprentice

Jordo decided to share his opinion of the movie, since Shy asked. 

"I thought it was good fun. I'm only half way through the second book, so I don't really know how close it was to the source material, but I thought it was alright."

He did enjoy the movie, but in the end he was just there to enjoy Dash's company. 

Yeah, sorry about that, I needed a day to get caught up on what went down while I was gone, and also to give everypony a chance to re-post. the replies are coming later today. for real this time.

My bad? I didnt put words in Rainbow Dashs mouth, she didn't say a word; I think I know what you mean though. For the sake of moving things along I did make a few assumptions.

Rainbow felt the arm and blushed slightly. If it was anypony else, they would've gotten it ripped off, however, it was you. She leans against you slightly as the trailers play through, enjoying your company.

Sky X Spas-tic Shotty

It's pretty obvious for me considering I'm in the whole 'Ask a pony on a date' RP thing. For those of you who don't know, I would have to say Rainbow Dash.

What do you mean I 'Picked' a bad time? I Don't get to 'Pick' when thanksgiving happens. but if it bothers you so, I'll be sure to tell my family I won't be able to be home for Christmas because the internet needs me. (Sarcasm)

And you better, who needs something like FAMILY when you have the internet?

(Keep in mind he may not have known it was Thanksgiving for you. Some countries have thanksgiving on different dates. Up here in Canada we celebrated Thanksgiving a few months back.)
