  1. Just felt like learning a bit about a country I knew nothing of so I watched this
  2. Ice Age for me, we had the DVD so I watched it many times as a kid
  3. I hand wash it. I actually need to do it soon > . < The next movie you watch must contain either dinosaurs or aliens. Which do you choose and why?
  4. Usagi (AKA Sailor Moon) & Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket. Ruby from RWBY. Starfire from Teen Titans (maybe Raven secretly too lol). Carl from Jimmy Neutron. Steven Universe. Also, it's not a cartoon, but Mr. Bean would have a hilarious friendship with Pinkie Pie.
  5. Feeling very, very sad today and in need of hugs
  6. Yeah, I feel you, my real parents divorced about 16 years ago. Something that is really tough about this one is I share a house with them, so I'll likely be losing the home I lived in for the past 10 years because of this.
  7. Just found out my stepdad was unfaithful to my mom with a much younger co-worker and that he wants a divorce. Not the best day
  8. It's not a fish, but that reminded me of this little dear who is adorable, the video is funny too because the scientists are just roasting him
  9. 519186 bottles of pop on the walllllll
  10. I'll be here as long as apple bloom keeps waving her silly arms (legs?) Yeah, things are more low key these days, but there are still things happening. There's a group of animators who are currently working on a complete reanimation of Magical Mystery Cure for example. They came out with a reanimation of a TYT short at the end of last year. And this is just one of many cool things happening!
  11. Feeling kind of empty. I just finished another full watch through of FIM/EQG... I was doing 1 episode a day so it lasted more than 8 months. Now it's time to take a break from the show for a while. I'll miss it, but I know I'll love it more when I come back to it refreshed from hiatus. It's always about the journey..... sigh
  12. I don't. For me, I don't really like mixing the author's intent with the ideas of other unconnected people. I already have a hard enough time when there are multiple writers pulling characters in various directions on a TV show or when an author returns to write a sequel to an old book. That is the reason I just mentally can't bring myself to be engaged by it. Still, I respect and admire the passion of those who make and read it. It's also a great tool to build up your writing skills in a safer environment than writing from scratch. It's kinda like doing a tribute song to a band you love. Gives you a well-defined box to start working in. And boxes can be good, so long as you don't let them become a cage! So, keep creating all you wonderful people!
  13. G2 really is kind of the lost generation of MLP. It just goes to show the importance of having some kind of tie-in media to make it memorable. Something like that just gives fans a lot more to sink their teeth into and talk about. It's a shame they didn't get something other than Friendship Gardens. On the other hand, I guess it makes them kinda unique since they are sort of the hidden generation. Every era has something that makes it unique!
  14. Banned for banning unbanned banned users who were banned for [Redacted].
  15. Probably the worst pony is Suri Polomare or Spoiled Rich or somepony else like that. However, my least favorite is either Flurry Heart, Pipsqueak or Trenderhoof. Flurry Heart basically isn't a character so her taking up screen time annoys me. Pipsqueak just annoys me in general for some reason (I have the same feeling towards Twist, but to a lesser degree). Trenderhoof is probably the most annoying to me of them all though. What's worse is how Rarity fawns over him, even though it's obvious he's a complete nitwit. Oof. Dishonorable shoutout to Sludge for being the worst non-pony character by far. Zephyr is a terrible pony though I also find him funny because of his lack of self-awareness, and I like his episode quite a bit. It's just a shame they regressed his character in "Sparkle's Seven" even though that scene is hilarious.
  16. Twilight Sparkle #1 Rarity #2 Applejack #3 Pinkie Pie #4 (Tie) Fluttershy #4 (Tie) Rainbow Dash #6 They're all great though
  17. "Dear Princess Celestia, I wanted to share my thoughts with you. *Ahem* I didn't learn anything! I was right all along!" This one makes me laugh every single time
  18. "Fake It 'Til You Make It" is my least favorite episode. They already had her do something like this in "Putting Your Hoof Down" where she sort of puts on a character mask and becomes a jerk to other ponies. So, it's already been done, but in season 1 at the very beginning of her character's journey. Even back then though that was a somewhat rough episode, which is made a decent for me by a hilarious character (Iron Will). Fast forward to season 8 and after all that character growth, they sort of rehash this gag but make it even worse because this time she's not just a jerk to ponies, but also to her animal friends. For me, the least likely character interaction I can think of in the entire show would be Fluttershy being cruel to animals. It would be like if Twilight started throwing books in a shredder or Applejack started preferring strawberries. I understand she's behaving that way while she's playing a character, but even so it's genuinely impossible for Fluttershy to ever do that in my opinion (outside of magic induced situations like "Return of Harmony" or "Mean 6"). What's worse is once she's broken from her characters there are no real repercussions. She doesn't seem anywhere near as devastated as she would realistically be in realizing how she treated her animal friends. She literally just says, "Sorry IF I hurt your feelings, you know I was only pretending right?" There's also the fact that the entire reason she puts on these characters in the first place is to mask her lack of knowledge about fashion. Except, in season 1, she is established as having an incredible knowledge of clothing design in "Suited for Success". Thus, even the entire premise of this episode is inherently flawed, and they put her character through all that nonsense for no good reason. There are actually several other things in this episode I could gripe about, but I've rambled on quite enough. I'll finish by saying that for me, the only thing worse an episode can do than be boring is to misrepresent a character, and in my opinion, this is the worst of them. Too bad too, because the outfits are really cute! XD
