“Well…” starlight glimmer said with a large extended pause to her voice, looking down in deep thought for a moment and then looking back at twinkle shine. “ it’s not that I don’t like cutey marks, I have just had a complicated history with them, so I’m just a little apprehensive.” - “ I guess that’s where I’m at, I mean I’m just trying to find purpose at this point, trying to see what sticks, I mean, I could tell you for certain I would love to get into professional kite flying at the next pony Olympics.” Starlight smiled at twinkle shine, enjoying her enthusiasm. “ well maybe you could teach me more about cutey marks.” Starlight beamed with a proudly thoughtful expression on her face, she really liked that question from twinkle shine. “ well, I kind of fell in love with Phyl one day, he was just a small little guy when I found him near my hometown, I looked him in his adorable eyes, and I just knew that we were meant to be with each other, his little floppy stems and the way he smiles at me with his leaves. it really captures my imagination and honestly, he was my only friend during some rough periods in my life. And as for kiting! Oh boy, it’s a hobby that I’ve always kind of known, and when I started to fly kites for the first time, I love how free it feels to fly some thing in the air, there are no boundaries or restrictions to what you can do when given the space, I feel like sometimes they can go so high that I could go to the moon with it. I found it to be a hobby that I’m really good at, it’s very technical and involves a lot of statistics, but after a while, it’s just muscle memory and you can do any trick you want in your mind with such a simple ease. Flying makes me feel like I’m free for my troubles, it was one of the only things I felt like I had some control of a very vulnerable point in my life..” @Skylight Scintillate

Although, I try not to be married to mine, it’s more interesting to keep my options open. She then got her place at the table and found a sweet amount of excitement seeing the food served out onto plates. “ before we eat, lyra make sure the wash your hands!” She just had to say that, an amusement swelling up her cheeks. ” Oh my god well, since you asked. I am, uh kinda are- uh, like crazy into kites. Like, last summer I spent countless nights trying to soar higher in the sky, getting my wind ratios just right so I could soar it past the clouds! I love collecting them too, I probably 75 different models of kites…” her eye twitching “ I am also super passionate about my plant, his name is Phylis!” Starlight talked with deep passion swirling in her. @Skylight Scintillate

Starlight glimmers eyebrows shot upward so hard they could’ve swore that her eyebrows left her face, she was very surprised to see twilight sparkle again, a deep amount of interest illuminating her face into a deep glow of fascination. “ oh twilight it is very good to see you again! What happened at your parents house?” She spoke as she got in line with the girls as they got onto the train one after the other, the door being shut behind them by the staff, as the train started to prepare to takeoff, A burst of steam could be here rushing through the smokestack as the wheels on the track started to spin the train forward, it felt like the whole gang was here now. starlight glimmer was escorted to her her own train car as she looked around and saw the beautiful embellishments in her door alone. “Wow.. I never saw such a beautiful door in my life lol.” She caught a glimpse of the lemon heart and smiled at her rather cheekily in humour. Starlight was rather relieved to hear that food would be provided on their trip, she was almost foaming at the mouth at the thought of eating. “ oh what a relief I am so freaking starving.” in speaking with Moondancer, starlight glimmers eyebrows, bounced up and down charismatically. “ aristocrats you say. start like glimmer beamed with such a devilish allure of confidence and outright giggles, leaning her head to engage with the conversation along with lemon heart "Oooh juicy! Details, ladies, details!" a warm and profound intimacy, grabbed hold of her, she looked back at Lyra. "Okay, I can do that, but you know... I wouldn’t mind listening heh" The joy of the moment being sort of a distraction for her anxiety about meeting Sunburst, but she was off toward the right hoof. "all right, what time did we want to meet by the train station?" She was dead set now. when the dust settled from the fried, pillows and furniture, which twisted up like pretzels on the floor, it was absolutely hilarious, not a picture was straight on the wall in the rug was completely rolled up, Minette had worked her magic, making everything spotless, and guiding us towards our intended purpose. The next day at the train station, starlight had arrived on the edge of the wooden platform, she looked to the side and saw a bunch of them gathered off near the train, she could see smoke billowing from the stack of one of the trains, that looks like the one to the crystal empire, as she approached she could smell the distance, the concession stand and other pony and fillies walking by. As Moondancer asked, it was quite straightforward, starlight arrived last and responded with a quick panted "Yes!" Like she was refilling her lungs after draining them from the strenuous walk, they started to roll on in into the interior of the train, she followed behind move dancer as we gathered into our personalized cabin, this part was going to be interesting, the train ride there. @Skylight Scintillate

Starlight Glimmer was really enamored with how sassy and tricky Lyra was being, A rosy coloured deepening within her cheeks and a Smirk as big as her face will allow. This sort of calculation inspired her, She loved the challenge but she started to admire Lyra on a personal level For how clever she was, Picking up on the fact that she was Picking up on her movements. "Oh a little cocky now are we~ I like that alot!" Starlight buzzed with a playfulness that she's hardly ever had a chance to display, Starlight teleported around her with a few quick flashes of magic, Getting a few quick glimpses of positions that lyra was in, And then teleporting behind her and tapping her shoulder, but she knew that Lyra was on to her quickly. "Well, Where would be the fun in that?" She said obviously joking, a cheeky smirk come across her face like she was Proud of that comment. Starlight was rather charmed by Lyra’s use of the word “Bruh” she was not used to search creative lingo where she came from. She let out the shrug, part of being a goodwill and also going with the flow. Feather started to float up into the air, whizzing down into a flutter and seemingly floating in different directions, seemingly with whatever gust, the wind that carries edge, the sound of pillows clapping together, and creating a flurry of feathers was rather endearing, starlight had no frame of reference for this, all she could think of is pure joy. “ oh my God, Lyra, why are you so freaking agile?! “ starlight sputtered out as she was trying to keep up with Lyras agility, She could see the glow of Yellow magic, much of which reflected in starlight glimmer eyes. “ oh I could go all night Miss head and shoulder, knees and HANDS!” Starlight experiences an odd déjà vu at the suggestion, she blinked her eyes a few times and straightened up as a wobbly smile appeared on her face. “oddly this gives me some crazy déjà vu vibes, weird. Hahaha.”- “but, yeah, in all seriousness, I do grasp a concept that you are bringing to me, actions have consequences and they can reverberate across time, think maybe an act revenge done upon somebody in time travel alters more than just the pony that you are angry with, but it completely puts the whole world in Jeopardy. Like imagine if one pony’s friendship was the bedrock of stability of a the entire kingdom?! Makes me think that, that kingdom was never really stable to begin with and maybe there is a reason in the fragility of time and space.” “Welllll.. I just thought that somehow me not being accepted there too made me lesser, and I don’t know why I thought like that, maybe I wasn’t confident in myself, but now that you mention it, we did have a lot in common, sunburst and I, and maybe we still do..” she said with an era of beaming Hope. “OK, I promise you Lyra I’m going to do my best to change, I want to change and I desire to have real friendships, in my heart I do genuinely love.” Starlight put her hoof to her chin to think “ well, our town is sustainable on its own, I know the hard-working folks can sustain their own community, and I still care for them, I can arrange that a new leadership is headed by some pony else, so that way I can be here in canter lot more often, but still be able to visit the village. I still have love for my village.” ” as for sunburst, I’m not sure what to do next, I think I might need some advice on how to handle that, I do want to see him. Yeah, you do make a fair point with that and I do have an urge to continue with our plot point, but I do think that it makes sense to wait for props because he is a contributing factor to our RP, I am not sure how long he will be, but I am optimistic about it. @Skylight Scintillate

Hey there @Skylight Scintillate, @Props Valroa Has mentioned to me that he is going to be taking a break from the forums, so I think that we should put the role play on hold until he comes back if that is okay with you. I have been really enjoying the storylines going on so far, It is interesting seeing the parallels between Starlight glimmer and Moon dancer, And then having that extend to moon dancers friends is a very fresh take on the original Story I feel. If you have any comments or things that you would like to see In the role play feel free to let me know.

The first question stirring something complex and overwhelming in starlight, the gravity of which could be seen in the stiffness in her facial expressions. she was not used to people questioning her motives, nor showing much empathy to her actions, but some thing about the situation made starlight drop a few ounces of weight on her facial expression even though it was quite difficult answering, suddenly, it turned quite emotional as something within her broke through, a sense of humanity. “-Honestly, I feel worthless with a cutey mark, It did not matter much when it came to keeping me and Sunburst together, all my cutey mark did was highlight the difference that I had with other ponies.” Her voice, dredged with passion and pain. “ How I want to feel, is understood by some pony, I don’t quite care if ponies don’t understand why I do the things that I do, but they don’t quite understand that I do it out of love. The love that I want to feel that I’ve never got, I understand that I’ve done wrong things… but nobody has ever took the damn time to notice that I was suffering as they were changing, I took it in my own hands to control my life again.” A complicated flurry of emotions spun through her mind, sinking a heavy upset in her throat, feeling that choked her up. Tears spilling out from either side of her eyes. “ I want to ask both of you, what would you do.. if you lost someone, To make the pain go away, where would that take you?” Starlight shifted to pace as she paced, a pause in her speech as a smirk bounced to break some of the seriousness etched on her face. “I used to be idealistic once too, I used to think that as if we if we believed in the greater good, that somehow love could conquer all- but how good is it when it can be easily taken away from you?“ she was slowly removing a mask, she tilted her head to a new angle, to the side, shadows, casting across the right side of her cheek. “There are no good ponies any more, just villains of various degrees” that was the best she could come to directly answering the question, more of trying to justify her feelings, to get them to understand where she was, On a tall jagged cliff of emotions. “There is very little balance in this world anymore“ she then faced back at the two ponies slowly as her face cast more shadows. “If you insist trotting through life, hooves laden with hope, you will only meet one devastating heartache after another-.” shifting back a little,noticing how impassioned she had gotten. “I am sorry, I do not mean to impose on you two.” @Props Valroa @Skylight Scintillate

Something about magnolia rubbed starlight glimmer the wrong way, she raised an eyebrow at her, knowing that she was judging her as much as she was judging magnolia, she decided to keep her eye on her. Something about her presence made her feel a bit defensive, of course starlight was not a saint herself, starlight felt self conscious and insecure about her own wrongdoings. “Okay twilight, I understand and I will see you on the train to the crystal empire” She spoke affirmatively, she felt a little bad that she has not spoken in depth with twilight but she had a little bit of hope that she did not think bad of her, as much as she probably deserves it, thought starlight. She would have more to say to twilight once she saw her again. Starlight was incredibly charmed by moon dancer and minutes hospitality and friendliness, something she had not felt genuinely in a very long time, something that made her nervous and twitch, because she was used to controlling things. Although emotion pulled her to stare at both there eyes. “Honestly, I would love nothing more to be your friends- I haven’t felt loved like this in years- I just- I - um.. yeah let’s hang out and talk?” She looked like she was about to cry, but it was a good one. “I am sorry- I am not used to ponies being nice to me- I just want you guys to like me” she also gave thought to what they mentioned about sunburst. @Skylight Scintillate @Props Valroa
