Just wing it. No need for timelines and rules and what not. Thats how the chaos flows and works. So dont ve a twilight heading in and just have fun on this world and have its moments. Tackle it how pinkie would and go with the flow.
Fair point.

Alright, then the following changes apply to my OC.
Obviously not working with Fluttershy.
Depressed and grieving because they were good friends and she was a mentor and good friend to him.
"Official job" (cover) gardener and animal caretaker in Canterlot.
(Secret job) apprentice to the local Magi Aurorae of Western Canterlot.

So just to clarify within the RP time does not go by multi-verse rules it goes by singular timeline and this dimension affecting positioning and overall flow effect of time within the one time line then?
To clarify the difference in a multi-verse aspect one travels different dimensions that all occur at the exact same time but are different realties with different outcomes of events, people, places etc.
In other words, you're never in the past or future only what seems to be such from your own perspective of the reality dimension you left behind.
So if for example you went from here to a reality where it was experiencing events similar to our WW2 you would believe you time traveled into the past when you really didn't.
So multiverse or single timeline rules here?

I'd say so, Happi to have anybody Join in tho just a head's up @Star heart 777 and @Props Valroa (If you plan joining) but the world is set after the Finally sometime but the world has had some differences made, Biggest one being of.. Well Ghost themself, As He's Angel but after a Accident involving Magik It turned him part Ghostkin, Thus a Ghostling. Creature who is still alive but has the Abilites akin to a Ghost. along with some more...
But also in this world Ghost's/Angel's owner Fluttershy... isn't with them anymore. Are we talking say within a few years after final or is it at least say 10+ years after?
I just ask so I can be aware how much I would need to alter my character's age, feelings, experience etc.
If it's a few years no big deal but if it's LONG after that would be a different story

May my OC join in?
Here is the bio information.
Race: unicorn
Mane color: brown
Eyes: pink
Sex: male
Gender : feminine divine energy
Cutie Mark: two angel ponies on clouds(yes, angel class NOT regular pegasi).
Overall ability is with spiritual communication but due to gender has an overall light ability of empathy and awareness in other areas as well.
For example, while he cannot understand animals like Fluttershy or hitch he CAN sense their mood, well being and feelings on a general sense.
Weakness is that he tends to have trouble controlling his emotional.energy and can often be teased for name and being a male with a higher connection to the divine feminine as opposed to a connection to the divine masculine that most colts his age hold.
In other words, it's a bit difficult for him to stay grounded or in the here and now.
So, anything I forgot to explain or should work on for this OC?
Occupation: healer and councilor sometimes assists Fluttershy during her more peak times,
hobbies: nature walks, dog walking, book/tea events, psychic readings, OnO fan, Feng sui, gardening (mostly herbs and flowers), NMN/horror enthusiast.
goal: Wants to join the Magi Aurorae group and has been a huge fan of them ever since he found out about them. They are a group of very high ranking mages within the royal order. Basically, what the Wonderbolts are to the pegasi the Magi Aurorae are to the unicorns though unlike the Pegasi they tend to be more secretive and private in nature.
It is very rare to meet with one much less the group as they only accept the best of the best. Officially the group does NOT exist outside of select unicorns and royalty. Thus the pegasi and earth ponies have no idea it exists it's kept secret from them.
SO far, Starkisses has not been able to pass their test to get in yet.

This fanclub is for the ruling creatures of the world of Equestria.
I say royal not just princesses because not all of the leaders of the various creatures go by that title so I wished to be more inclusive for ones like Chrysalis or Ember who hold different names for their official titles (dead or title lost does not matter as long as the character held a royal title at some point and it was official)
Now, as far as the debatable ones within G4 goes this is what I'm thinking.
And sorry no to "Princess Big Mac" since that is more of a fan title outside of the show and he was never officially made an alicorn outside of the dream world.
Sunset, I would say yes to because although debatable I would say her finished arc would have ended with her becoming a princess in Equestria after she set things right in the human world and fixed the situation for the human Sunset.
Discord yes since he DID rule Equestria at one point and is considered a lord.
Spike yes, since he was dragon lord at least long enough to give an order as Dragon Lord.
finally a quick note on Ember in that I personally will be referring to her as the proper title of Lady Ember not Lord Ember. Forgive me but I'm a bit OCD on details like that. I do not expect anyone else to do so, feel free to keep calling her as Lord Ember I'm just making all aware of that so there is no confusion.
That out of the way I look for to art and discussion of the royal creatures we are all fans of in Equestria.

If I was forced to choose between watching either of the two movies without any doubt I would choose Oppenheimer.
I'm sure if you're a 5 year old girl, the parent of one or been a huge collector of the dolls it will be a hit for you but for a general movie I can't imagine it will hold much value.
But I have not seen either one to be fair so who knows maybe either will be better or worse than I anticipate.

Not going to lie glanced at the title and was hoping for a ERB type of post or something here lol

The Sirens, specifically in the comic Fiendship is magic. They were hilarious in that.
Especially when they tried to sing in the traditional Siren style to Canterlot and they got booed off the stage.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. It’s like how some people follow Jedi or Vulcan philosophy, while obviously remembering that those things originated in fiction.
I don't know if you could call MLP:FIM "fiction" per say here. Don't get me wrong characters and such are certainly false but it's more like allegory than straight fiction. And in the case of MLP I say that it feels more direct.
So yes fictional but not 100% fictional.
Do t get the wrong star trek and star wars have some interesting philosophy but it's just not as direct about it.
-
Here are just a few things within MLP that have a deeper meaning.
Celestia=Celestial or basically of the heavens.
Luna= Lunar of the night and divine shadow. The moon itself being an aspect of the sacred night to most belief.
Twilight Sparkle= the Northern star.
but names aside there is things like Twilight's journey or more to the point the journey of the soul.
Twilight started in Canterlot under Celestia then came to Ponyvile to learn lessons and send up returning to Canterlot on the end.
So, Basically you Twilight = new soul coming from Canterlot and leaving Celestia= leaving heaven to go to live in a town of earth pony = a world of earthlings. She is study and learn there among the earth = incarnation of soul into earth.
Twilight eventually reaches an AHA moment and becomes a princess with Celestia= ascension into a higher level of understanding and understanding of wisdom of heaven.
Twilight has doubts about this and her worthiness of being a princess= the journey of the shadow self and the conflict of one's inner demons.
eventually, Twilight learns to accept herself as princess and rules over Equestria= the completed soul journey and return to heaven as a graduate of the school of earth AKA the hero's journey completed.
Now, before you argue keep in mind that I only list these examples to show that you can find quite a bit within it.
And what's interesting is I have talked with some of my friends who quite a few have never seen or probably in a few never heard of MLP about some of the things within the show just not quite as cartoonist and yeah alot of it would be seen as what one might call "higher truths."
I guess what I am referring to here is kind of what you might call archetypes and to make a long story a little shorter kind of substitutes for various meanings and philosophy of the human spirit and experiences if you will.
So, in terms of seeing something like a literal Celestia , Luna, Equestria etc existing no, that would be absurd but in terms of Celestia representing an "idea" so to speak that may have something to it.
I Dunno, thoughts?
-
I can see that happening. Sunset could have also become the first human alicorn as well it could have gone ether way with. It's a true shame the mystery of human Sunset was never solved...
-
Personally, for me this is just another little mystery to look into. I just find figuring such puzzles fun.

I hope not, worshipping a character who is entirely fictional wouldn’t be a very healthy mindset.
But maybe someone could follow Equestrian ideals as a philosophy, without believing it’s a real place.
There is a lot of religious and spiritual aspects within this particular show. Sure Equestria itself isn't real but there are a lot of things and I'm not just referring to the Greek mythology stuff but other things as well.
To me this really does seem like a fable of sorts.
Not quite as in your face as the chronicles of Narnia was about Christianity but it is there in bits and pieces.
The best way I can describe it is that it's like someone is trying to present certain ideas of spirituality but under a kind of "mask" of cute ponies and friendship.
I mean one of the more obvious ones is Twilight's journey being equivalent to that of ascension and that of apprenticeship to master level or teacher.
crystal empire=indigo /crystal children etc.
So, there is stuff there, like A LOT of stuff.
Big question though is was it planned or coincidence?

I don't think so. People have watered down the idea of religion. Just because you are a fan of something doesn't make it a religion. People don't actually believe in a super natural, metaphysical aspect of a cartoon show.
I don't understand the second sentence.
I'm not implying a big fan group Im actually asking if there religious aspects of belief.
In other words yes, an actual religion.
-
Very simple question aside from the now abandoned Princess Celestia account does anyone actually follow the belief of Celestianism?
Also, as a bit of a bonus thought was the only known religion of MLP everyone was aware of?

(My headcanon is that Izzy Moonbow is the daughter of Pinkie Pie and Princess Luna.)
Pinkie Pie? *Gasps excitedly* You mean my Mom!?
Probably more like great-great-great-great-great etc granddaughter of Pinkie as I imagine at least 2000+ years have passed since the G4's ending and G5's start.

This question is available for either Izzy or Pip or even both of you to answer if you want.
You all have found information about Twilight but have you found bits of information on any of the other legends of Equestria: Spike, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Sunset Shimmer etc or only Twilight so far?

YES, HORSES IN MYTH
. I have researched a lot of horses in myth and lore. I’ll leave a quick 2 cents that’s rather obscure: Poseidon is also god of horses
Will love to hear more. Another interesting legend is that the Sirens were originally beautiful and only became ugly and monstrous as punishment for failing to save Persephone from being claimed by Hades.

The famed charade guess of Antidisestablishmentarianism in Season 8, Episode 7 of Horseplay implies that religious movements have occurred in Equestria, that I believe are in regard to Celestia's deification status.
I imagine she originally accepted such a role as it seemed fitting for her position and as a control aid, only for her to become uncomfortable with certain aspects.
For example, her longevity has granted her much experience and wisdom on certain walks of life, but she is neither omnipresent like Zeus and omniscient like the Abrahamic faiths. Some of her subjects may come to think otherwise if this isn't clarified, but under what circumstances would they be if one of the primary goals is to prevent the questioning of one's authority? Therefore It's likely she would've eased back from the role before things got too out of hoof.
Well, it's hard to say what her thoughts are about herself as she clearly does enjoy toying with her subjects a bit you know cue all the "trollestia" evidence fans have seen but on the other hand she does seem rather laid back and doesn't really crack down on things unless it really does need her attention like when Twilight went nuts and enchanted her doll creating a big riot in Ponyvile.
So beyond essential moments where she is absolutely needed to take charge she seems to adopt a live and let live with her subjects not an authoritarian one.

I figured I would make a post for discussion of any pony related religious concepts and it legendary pony related figures to discuss here.
In simplistic terms if it is a religious belief that involves a pony in some way or some sort of legendary pony figure: Epona, the pegasus in the Greek myth etc.
And yes Celestianism, MLP characters are fair game on here as well.
Basically if it's pony related and in some way had an impact on the soul even if just a fan following it's fair game.
In the case of MLP the whole "friendship is magic" concept certainly got alot of people thinking and coming together as friends.

Okay, so long story short with some rare exception here or there only MLP conventions have requirements.
