What's that about? Reminds me of Azumanga Daioh, a slice of life comedy classic.

Perfect manga mention: Yotsuba is made by the same guy who made Azumanga Daioh.

It's basically like Azumanga Daioh, except it's focus on a little girl and the antics around her when she moved to a new town at the beginning of the series

I am new here but in other places (like Steam) you check an account of someone you used to play with and it says 'inactive for 5 years'. And that's sad...

That what happened with my first online friend since they were on Steam

All the time. I occasionally play a game called Toontown Rewritten and I have some friends on there who just up and disappeared one day. I assume they just lost interest in the game but still, seeing “Last seen: A very long time ago… :-(“  next to someone’s profile is kind of sad :(

There were a few users on here that I was kinda sad to see just disappear. For some they said why, but for most they didn’t. And I assume they just forgot about the forums, lost interest, or just got too busy with life. Who knows.

Same as this happened with 2 online friend I had, one of which was my first online friend.

There's this ASMR YouTuber I've listened that left without a trace, and their last community post said they're dealing with hardship only made me worried that I assume it's gotten so bad that they quit without even a goodbye. Celestia, I miss them, but I'll never forget them.

    *MEAT WARNING*

Some things maybe you think are weird but I don't.

    Bull's Tail with Black Wine.

Gosh you unlocked my memory of a different drink in South-East Asia

*NOT ANIMAL MEAT, BUT CAN STILL MAKE YOU QUEASY*

I remember consuming this canned drink when I was a kid called Nouc Yen. It wasn't until I was a teenager (and stopped drinking it) that I realize it's edible bird nest, aka, bird saliva. I don't know it's just contain bird saliva, or made only of bird saliva.

Worms (one games), I used to love worms but one game made me give up.

Worms (one games), what you mean by that? I tried looking the name online but no luck

Crash Boom Bang, without a shadow of a doubt.

It is so crappy, in the "It doesn't count as a video game" sort of way. At least notoriously bad games like Superman 64 or Sonic 06 feel like games, whenever it is said in a good way or not. This one just is an annoyance that never seems to end, and whose only aim is to make you angry at things for no reason :yeahno:

I'm surprised that someone outside of the Crash Bandicoot community knows this game because why would anyone besides Crash fans would pick it up (if not anyone in general)?

I've eaten alligator, didn't taste like much really.

Toasted ants. Gross, don't taste good and little legs get stuck between your teeth.

I'm wondering: what country or culture ate those?

Last year I gathered some of the many acorns around here and made flour out of them like Native Americans did for centuries. then made cookies and pancakes out of it. It was a lot of work for a little flour but the food was good.

Kind of not surprise since if almond flour exist, then acorn flour can exist as well

    Ninjabread Man.

Bought it and other shovelware titles for my Wii because I was curious about just how bad it and games like it really were. A pretty generic 3D platformer, the game itself was boring turned frustrating with the forced motion controls. Nothing can really be said about the graphics either, and the gameplay got pretty repetitive pretty quickly.

Let's not forget that the manual straight up lies on a few things. Such as hold A while swinging the Wii remote to perform a special attack, and playing the level's extra mode to unlock the other modes (you unlock all of the mode when you beat the level). Oh, and there's only three levels (or four since the manual counts the tutorial as a level)

I don't know if you know this, but the company that made that game also made three other games that is like Ninjabreadman, but with no changes beside different visuals, and level design. Annubis at least has a boss to defeat with bombs, but they didn't build the game around it since the bomb only appears in the boss.

Bought this purely off its infamous reputation and yeah, it’s as bad as everyone says. First hour or two is actually pretty funny, but by the 4th driving section the “bad game is funny” novelty drops off hard

Let's not forget that that game is very offensive, even beyond being deliberate to represent the timeline. Of course, I'm talking about what happens every time you save a woman from um...

let just leave it at that. The most ridiculous example is when you're at a barn to kill a rival member, but our protagonist decides to stop what he's doing, with common baddies surrounding him that's trying to kill him, just to have one of many infamous scenes I'm talking about.

There are other types than black? Though I don't know what type I had because I always got the candies without the box. The candies were dark in color though.

I've look it up: turns out the red licorice I'm thinking doesn't actually contain licorice despite it's name. In fact, I don't know anything about licorice roots that is used in black licorice until now.

Some candies with licorice. I know it's not that weird, but what's weird about it is that I really like them, but pretty much everyone I know absolutely hates them almost to the point of puking. The only reason I got to eat those candies is because people would sometimes bring them from abroad as a prank ("hey, I got something from country X, do you want to try it?"). Everyone's surprised that I like them and usually think that I'm just pretending.

In general, I am a picky eater, so I won't try some weird food (or even non-weird food).

I actually like licorice as well, in fact, I even like black licorice; the weird sting in the mouth is enjoyable to me. Plus, since people don't like black licorice, any event/gathering that includes black licorice mean there's more for me

  11. It's a 3-sided tie between Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage, Mega Man X7, and Superman 64 since all of them are bad in different ways.

Crash Purple is a total letdown that's beyond disappointment, it's supposed to be a crossover between Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. The main problem is the game is a mini-game collection instead of a platformer/collect-a-thon like the 2 respective series. Even beside that: the mini-games, and story are terrible.

Mega Man X7 is semi-playable, but it's still annoying thanks to the way the camera is shown along with poor control and game design. However, I don't consider it the game that killed Mega Man like people say it is, just a game that failed to put it back together.

Superman 64 is super buggy, and of course: there's the infamous rings level. I don't consider the ring level to be as bad as people said, all I really need to do is accelerate, de-accelerate, and turn at the right moment. It doesn't make the ring level any better, but it's playable. The actual action levels are the worst part of the game because of the horrible controls and complex. but poor level designs. Worse yet: the superpowers Superman is known for, are power-ups instead of regular moves, missing the point of Superman

I tried playing Spinball a couple of times and it put me to sleep. :nom:

I also never liked the pinball levels in any of the other Sonic games either.

I'm assuming you don't like pinball in general either

  12. So what weird food you pony have tried in your life, and did you enjoy it? Is it something you ate often afterwards or only once (whether or not you liked it)?

Again, ANY EXAMPLE(S) THAT INVOLVES ANIMALS [MEAT] SHOULD BE PUT WITH A WARNING BEFOREHAND. So that anyone lurking here won't be queasy from hearing weird animal food.

Also, please be considerate with the culture that eats them, there's western food that other culture considered weird as well.

For me: I understand that people considers durian weird because of it's smell, however I don't see it. I never smell anything from durian, even if I tried to smell something from it. I actually eat them every once in while since I'm Vietnamese (even if I currently live in the USA), so it's considered normal in my culture.

  13. Say 2 things and someone else make it related to each other. It doesn't matter how insane the logic is, just make it related to each other.

    For example:

    China/N64

China -> China's former policy on banning home game console -> Nintendo made a plug and play N64 controller console as loophole on the law -> N64

    Angry Birds/Azumanga Daioh

Angry Birds -> The Blues are the 3 childish members of the flock -> Chiyo is the child member of the main Azumanga Daioh cast -> Azumanga Daioh

NOTE: don't try to weasels it out with broad stuff like "(thing 1) use this letter -> (thing 2) uses that letter". Try to put effort or do some insane logic to get there

    Starter packs:

    Crash Bandicoot/Total Drama

    Tuvalu/Blockbuster (the video rental store)

Plants vs. Zombies/Grand Theft Auto (either the crime or the game works)

  14. We all have that food you have as a little kid, but grew to like (or at least tolerate) them when you're a teenager/adult.

But when I was reminiscing of food I ate when I was a little kid, and one of them was those tiny shrimps that I often find in soups. I hated them, and still hate them today; not helping matter is that I'm Vietnamese, and most of the soup-based food contains those tiny shrimps.

So what food is like that to you?
