  6. So among other stuff, a highlight of my Christmas haul: ROM The Spaceknight and Micronauts The Original Marvel Years. Both properties now owned by Hasbro were respectively owned back in the 70s by Parker Bros and Mego Toys. In contrast to licensed comics published by Marvel's Star line of comics in the 80s or licensed comics as a whole, such books would actually be incorporated into the Marvel Universe. Heck, one of their characters, Machine Man debuted in a tie in series to 2001 A Space Odyssey. For more independent story detail on ROM and a coverage on his involvement in the IDW Revolution crossover: But it being a licensed comic isn't why it or Micronauts were unavailable for years reprint wise. See using ROM as an example, anything not in Parker Bros toyline was by default Marvel owned, plus regular use of their pre-existing characters. In fact, if you got into comics when trades were becoming more commonplace and some of your interests were in X-Men, you could in time find Rogue's first appearance via reprint of Avengers Annual #10 where she was a member of The Brotherhood or her early appearances in Uncanny X-Men where she became a hero. Up until now, barring luck in finding back issues, many including myself in the 2000s would easily miss her allegiance switch in ROM The Spaceknight #31-32. And in it's 72nd issue, tied into the company wide crossover Secret Wars II as did #16 of Micronauts The New Voyages. Did luck into find both when I went for the crossover (both being omitted from the tie in reprints). So YT video and my comic rambling and boasting. And the toy that prompted the Marvel series: Needless to say, the Marvel Comics series was better received even then.
  7. Opening for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined: @Snoopy Fan I just figured she took part in some equivalent to Pokémon battling which even if she initially objects to, she still tears the competition apart.😁
  8. Well someone posted recently, so I can present more of my back issues:
  9. Detective Conan episodes 42 and 46 subbed: As the winter season is more emphasized, it should likely be up til March. Or later if the groundhog sees it's own shadow.😁
