A Love Letter To My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic

A very very long time ago,
 there was a little boy. That boy loved so much girl things it was absurd to everyone around him. The only to friends he had ditched him to find better friends. He hadn't been able to move on. After all who would like a kid like him? One day that kid was bored. He had no friends to play with and he had found no joy by himself. But he had turned on the TV and suddenly a burst of color filled the room. It was a book on the TV? It was about two ponies who had a massive battle as one would not lower the moon so the other could raise the sun. To most children he knew, even girls, would find this absurd. But no not him he had loved it. He kept watching it 1 season went by but there was nothing left and he grew bored again. One day he had walked into the store with his parents when something caught his eye. It was the pink pony from that show he liked. And so that day he brought home Pinkie Pie. This was his one and only friend. One day he was sitting in his room playing with Pinkie and then on TV came a episode. The first episode of Season 2 was airing. He was excited! He had never seen anything like it he watched it and became obsessed with this new episode. It was entertainment he had not seen in such a long time. He eventually began collecting more and more toys making more and more friends. But even he knew this was sad. Season 4 had just ended and he had watched the Equestria Girls move but he still felt empty. He had Cadance, Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Celestia, and Starlight Glimmer but he still was missing something. He had failed to learn the one spell, the most powerful spell, that was taught in this show, which was how the magic of friendship grows. He watched more and more episodes the seasons seemed to blend together but eventually it was there, the first episode of the final season, even though he had seen no confirmation he knew, it was the beginning of the end.

 One by one the days came and went until finally the End of the End part 2 was out. The boy watched it but was not ready for the show to end. One more episode he prayed. This was all he had for so long. But one day "The Last Problem" was out. And this episode meant so much more then a silly little goodbye. He had not bothered trying to make friends he was closed off. He had only cared about his toys and favorite shows (this is specifically about mlp because it's my love letter to the series.) The boy tried to solve his last problem and learn how the magic of friendship grows. He showed nothing but kindness to everyone afterwards, he had finally open up a little. His only real friend soon after left, but he realized a true friend would never abandon you. And soon he started making friends that he could be himself around, soon he became a she. The grown girl looked back at the path she walked. Her life had been changed by 6 ponies. She learned friendship was something important. She learned how to make friends and they still help her to this day. And learned the greatest spell there is, is what the magic of friendship gives.

Sorry for so many 'The Magic of Friendship Grows" references, and I know this may sound corny, but that song turned my life around. I would still be that scared kid without this show. And I hope you see it the same way. A safe place to go to learn
