    Does anypony else think that all of the alicorn information in MLP is very vague and has many mysteries? I mean, we know that alicorns are royalty, but why? Who was the very first alicorn? the only pony we have seen BECOME an alicorn was Twilight, but was Cadence also made an alicorn by Celestia or Luna? we know she wasn't born as one, since Flurryheart was such a surprise to everyone. Another thing- WHERE THE HECK ARE CELESTIA AND LUNAS PARENTS AT?? Alicorns are immortal, so why aren't ANY of the previous alicorns alive- or even MENTIONED in MLPFIM? At least in some of the comics, Royalty like Princess Sterling and Princess Mi Amore are shown/mentioned- But still. All of the info we have on Alicorns is so little. I love hearing other Pony's theories on this topic. What do you guys think about this? (Reply):dash:

      I feel like they kept it vague because they weren’t really sure what they wanted to do with alicorns. Especially once we get Twilight becoming a princess, and then Flurry Heart. Keeping it open ended allowed them to kind of just pull alicorns out of thin air if they wanted to for both plot and merchandise reasons.

      If you can become an alicorn then it may be tied to a massive mastery of a skill set. A level of godhood mastery, I’d imagine. 
      if you were born an alicorn it was probably due to the union of a very blessed union. One of profound love, which is probably a form of magic in and of itself or some form of legendary fate. I dunno. Mortal to god or demigod were always a legend type or story that fascinated me

    Hi Everypony!! My name is Raineyhooves and I am new to Mlp Forums! I love MLP and everything about it! I love drawing MLP fanart, I love learning and finding out about theories and sharing my own, and I am super excited to meet new friends and see what MLP Forums is all about! :3 (sidenote: my pfp will show me- Raineyhooves- very soon, but for now it is flutterbat bc I luv her :3)
