@North StarFR I really think this would be a great concept. How it can work is that the CopyCat can spread terror just like Cozy Glow did in G4 and when the Main 5 face off against it, it will be in the form of Cozy Glow, To G4 fans, they will be like, "Oh Cozy Glow is back!" (Although not really) and the new G5 fans would be like "Who is this that just showed up near the end?" -
What if in G5 they introduced a new villain called "The CopyCat." It's technically not living. It's an artificial creature that has the ability to copy the actions of anyone, even changing into said someone's form. The CopyCat had been created sometime before G4 started but has been sealed away underground because it was deemed too dangerous. During the final battle of G4, the CopyCat had been freed and had witnessed the crimes of Cozy Glow so now it becomes bent on copying the evil filly. Things it will also do: 1. Try to steal all the magic just like Cozy Glow did back in G4 2. Corrupt a bunch of benevolent creatures to turn them into hostile beings 3. Brainwash a pony to become Its follower.
