The together trees in g5 are kinda weird, they're connected to cutie mark magic, are able to communicate with each other (make friends with each other?), and are able to teleport ponies off to other trees or distance lands
The tree of harmony is also weird, connected to a group of ponies, being able to make a huge castle, and sending off ponies on friendship quest using their cutie marks and a map
The trees are all for friendship and the harmony that it brings, even trying to spread through quest and stuff. I honestly think, for an in universe explanation, that the tree of harmony might've become the together trees after the fall of g4 equestria
Like idk maybe the tree of harmony is still there (I haven't read any of the g5 comics yet so maybe they do talk about it there) (also I am ignoring the 'knights of harmony' thing from the g4 comics) but I just think it would be fun if the two were connected
