The Unknown Soldiers memorial feels like a hostage situation when you visit because the guards there have to be intimating, straight-backed, and always watching. Also you are not allowed to talk or else you will be thrown out. The guards are really good at their job and it looks and sounds really tough because the only time you can leave your post is if a literally tornado is directly heading for you Also you have to be a certain height, weight, haircut, and do everything perfectly without stopping for water until you switch out every half hour
