I am extremely reluctant to talk to anyone here, or post anything or comment on a post. After my horrible and bitter experience with the brony fandom (Facebook, Fimfiction and Equestria Daily), I’m not sure if I can trust anyone here. (Celestia and Luna wouldn’t even want me talking to bronies). This will be my last attempt to reconcile with the fandom and see if they’ve changed at all. If it doesn’t work out, I will be done with the fandom completely and humanity altogether. So we’ll see how it works out.
Forgive me if I withhold my enthusiasm - Princess Luna.

Firstly, I’d like to say that I’m sorry you had a bitter experience. Reminds me of why I left to Skype and lurked mostly on MLPF. I was disgusted by some things I was told by certain… bronies lol
eventually I ended up meeting very meaningful people thanks to this fandom. So, in a way, it’s a 50/50 thing. We can’t allow bitter experiences to color our world.
mlpf has a lot of history and beautiful experiences. People have found love, their best friends. Etc. Likewise, people have found fake people pretending to be hurt just to find an excuse to hurt others (we instantly ban those since we do not condone false kindness here).
I can personally testify that the people here are generally kind and supportive. But they won’t carry 100% of the friendship. It would have to go both ways.
