    for the bigger curls i used a marker with a clip on the end. for the tiny ones, like celestia’s tail and lyra’s mane, i used pipe cleaners. i straighten it, then curl the hair around- not the other way. you can secure the ends by just folding it and not using a clip. for them to be super tight i have to put it in hot water- which i do anyways for any makeover, but its more important here thanks for the comment!

    guess who i used as a base? a fake twilight alicorn. i cut her wings off; not as bad as i turned out. nathara’s a snake oc, posted her reference today (referring to posted on deviantart) i cut her wings off but i didnt sand it down thats the littlr bump you see… i cut my finger with the knife so i decided dont mess with it more. it wasnt bad though. her full ref:

    thanks! i actually drew this a few hours after i saw gladiator II so that’s where the golden laurel came in. i tried to make her seem “less friendly” with the scar and frown yooo that’s really cool. also is the “hidden content” where you edited the comment and took that part away? i like it as well! plus the dark water.. as much as it’s kinda embarrassing to say, gave me chills. bravo

    posted this on deviantart as well. did this last night- not like theres anything wrong with the best pony’s design, but i thought the scar, frown and orange eyes made her look more serious. plus her new latin name “caelestis solis-dies” made her sound ancient also a random fact i’m really proud of for some reason, i gave her three cutie marks instead of one because i think it’s more reminiscent of g1. i should have gave her way more but that’s unlike g4 thoughts?

    finished this pretty quick. i love celestia- and her occasional nightmare. put static over it so it looked “softer” and the texture looked like a blanket. i take criticism

    you’re right about that. i did like the earlier seasons of fim because of how simple it was and the later ones were too much. i felt like the pillar of old equestria was just for the sake of having a deeper plot and a copy of the mane six- same applies to the young six. i also think starswirl would have been better off as a legend than an actual character because, the past is in the past yknow thanks for responding! at least they didnt get a chance to butcher her character. i feel with luna, she’s a really complex and deep character (even if celestia’s better in my opinion) and they’d completely miss the point with her. maybe it’d be best lol i mean, look at what they did to celestia; cute but what?

    one of the only reasons i forgive the reboot is how cute celestia is really sucks she was in one episode though.. as far as i know. luna was never in the show itself too

    actually true. i think a few specials would have been better and i dont see a lot of discussion on here anyways. i just wanted to write a different new post, and i figured lots of people don't go on here. thanks for responding

    i like mlp as much as you guys. i hate when shows get rebooted into a lazier, more kid friendly cheap franchise like teen titans go but honestly i dont think pony life was THAT bad. yeah bad animation and ruined the characters but i genuinely dont know. toy wise, the ponies are creepy af (eyes) and they did the same with g3.5, standing up clothes and such. horrifying below

    hard to ignore the mane when it looks so horrible but the last time i gave the mane some extra attention (straightening it) it left a very sad surprise

    hey. it’s dysfallacy. i bought a cherry berry on amazon almost a year ago. a few weeks after, her hair burnt off in a straightener incident. i chopped it off and cut other parts of her hair so it matched- a mistake probably. i have zero idea how to style it and i don’t have rerooting tools, but some hair bands and gel ect. any tips? also the piece that was burnt was the very front. it’s shorter than the rest. should i cut the back to match the length, and if i should, how?
