    I saw an MLP fan claim magic should be reserved for the military in MLP fiction. But I disagree with that, for a variety of reasons, I will get into that in more detail in Twilight Soapbox section of the forum as it does involve politics. But it is foolish to assume that would guarantee safety of civilians, what if their military depletes their resources? you're going to leave a population unguarded with nothing to defend themselves with?
