Dragons are interesting creatures in mythology, they come in different shapes and sizes, Chinese dragon looks very different from European dragon, for example, has a longer serpentine-like body. How powerful dragons are depends on the stories told about them. In fiction they are often depicted sleeping on a bed of gold, their diet, carnivores usually, in Flight of Dragons they are also cannibals, as Bryargh was seen consuming eggs of another dragon.

  Yup, different kinds of dragons were discussed in a TV series episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog as well, water dragons for example, they don't breathe fire, but they are still very strong. It has been fairly common knowledge that not all dragons in fiction breathe fire for a while now. Even in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, they can also make smog as seen in Dragonshy, which was similar to the episode of Samurai Jack - Jack and the Dragon, theoretically the smog is still dangerous, as it can block sunlight and pollute a nearby village.
