Oh, you know, sometimes these plants can also be confused for red chokeberries. I just looked this up today - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aronia_arbutifolia Luckily, these are also edible. But just be careful! That's why I don't just eat things I randomly pick unless I know 100% sure what it is.

Wow, cool, so I had no idea someone planted a rowan tree right next to the sidewalk close-ish to me. I was able to recognize the tree immediately when I saw it! You can tell it's rowan by the distinct shape of the berries that mostly come in bunches, and the three leaflets that come in pairs of three! Though... I think the leaves a little... yellow, showing that it's a bit sunburnt, and I'm not sure if they are even completely ripe. But I'll probably just end up using them as a little art reference rather than just freezing 'em, boiling 'em and eating 'em. Yeah, I read the whole process to get them edible and tasty. Not sure if I wanna try it myself.
