There is no way of knowing of where it would be today. But it is for certain that there would be less haters. I think most of the haters just hated the commercials and never even saw the previous generations. Which leads them to judge the newer generation, and not even give it a chance.

I don't really hate how it is now, anyways. But I just ignore all of the haters and just watch the show.

Everypony is just impatient. We think that the show should take it's time and give out it's finale season for us.

Man, I've been there. Throughout my life I've been 'That kid'. I've always been told I was gay, or a fag, or some other shit like that (Which I'm not). It really breaks you down. Over the past 15 years of this, I've kind-of adapted to it. It doesn't effect me anymore. Just let their words fly over your head, and you'll be fine. Don't be afraid to defend yourself, and try to build a pose that supports you.

 

Me, and I'm sure the entire brony community supports you. Hang in there bro, everything passes eventually.

I don't want to be disrespectful to your parents, but they should have to be ashamed to call themselves parent. Parents are supposed to protect and love their children no matter what not make fun of them, specially with that horrible word. it's tough what ur going through, come here *hugs*

My parents treat me like a gay person, and each time they see me watching MLP they call me a faggot. It really depresses me sometimes, especially since even my own parents judge me. All my friends in real life already do that. That's kinda why I came here... To make some friends that will not judge me, and family too. I'm slowly making friends, but not any friends that I talk to alot yet.

Well the non-serious behavior is one of the things that drew me into the show, because I'm the type of person who likes to joke around at any given time. So if it was a more serious show I probably wouldn't be as big of the fan on the show as I am now. More serious enemies and awesome bossfights might give it more actions, but MLP isn't about action. I like MLP, because it's adorable and very funny. Take those elements away and I wouldn't have ever gotten into the show.

I'm truly in tears after reading this. I don't what to say, but I'm really glad that everything worked out. But I want you to know that it really warmed my heart after reading your story.
