I don't think Applejack is any more or less shippable than the other ponies. Like the other posters have been saying, she's not as popular among fans so she doesn't get as much attention. Me too! -
In a sense, FiM is already pretty serious because Lauren Faust, and other writers, take children seriously. As opposed to many show and movies, FiM is not vacuous and has genuinely good writing. Adding more serious themes and plots would change it enough to be a different show and probably make it worse. -
You're probably right. I found the site a few years ago and haven't looked at it since.

There's a counterpart to this in the His Dark Materials fandom where people try to create their own daemons. There's some info at The Daemon Page which might help some people with their pony tulpas. I might have to try this myself!

I think I'd be a bit miffed to find out she lied to me. Otherwise I'd have no problems with it because Equestrian ponies, as opposed to real life horses, are attractive and intelligent. Technically a physical relationship would be bestiality but I don't really care. -

Hey everybodypony! I heard about MLP a while ago but never gave it a chance. A couple days ago I watched the first episode and now I've seen all of them. The positiveness of the show and the awesomeness of the brony community has inspired me to become a better person. I've been "meh" for many years and I'm getting tired of it so I figure it's time to fill my heart up with sunshine. Ponies, y u so awesome!?
