 Awesome! Okay so yeah ideas wise, it just needs sweetie bell in it, either part robot, or full robot. I was thinking maybe a picture of applebloom and sweetie bell sitting in desks and applebloom sort of looking over at her like she's freaked out. Or maybe sweetie bell looking in a mirror and she is a robot but only in the mirror. Either way I want you to do what YOU want to do because that always seems to be the coolest when I ask artists to do that. Shaded is again up to you. And a few days is fine. I'll probably be working on this for a couple more days and as a musician I've learned time means quality!

 

In return I can link to your deviant art page or wherever you want. I have been featured on Equestria daily a couple times so that is also hopefully a possibility.

Hey yall. I'm close to done with this song and I was wondering if maybe someone wanted to make an album cover for it?



The song is about Friendship is Witchcraft. In the song Applebloom is
suspicious of Sweetie Bell's robotic tendancies. You'll figure it out
just listen to the lyrics. What I was hoping for an album cover was
perhaps a picture of sweetie bell in robot form (or perhaps half her
robot face is exposed). Maybe it would be cool to have her and
applebloom sitting side by side and applebloom looking shocked at
sweetie. As always I prefer artists just to do what they think is best!



The name of this song is Robots Are Friendship and it would be by me ZANDER.

Yes the shortness of it was actually something I contemplated for weeks. I thought it would be better to have short and sweet rather than long and repetitive after listening to "avast fluttershy's arse". Most songs I produce are between 3 and 5 minutes. Everything including my singing/rapping is all me. This song was in the works for a bit longer than 2 months. I stagger my projects so I'm always working on multiple things. This song's timeline was something like :

Write/record instrumental: 3 weeks.

Write/record lyrics: 1 week

Vocal editing: 1 week

Mixing: 1 week

Mastering: 2 weeks

Listening in car/waiting for artwork: 2 weeks

 

I plan on doing a tutorial video on how to produce a song in a DAW step by step by time lapsing and slowing down a video of myself creating a new project I have in mind. Depends on the interest I guess.

So I joined here about a month ago and told you guys I'm a musician and that I was busy with some songs. Well I have my first three brony songs done. Here's the first. The next two need to be mixed and whatnot but will be up soon as well. I'm hoping to really step onto the brony music scene. I'm only 18 so I have awhile to catch up to people like thelivingtombstone and woodentoaster. I am busy with work (paying for college here) so when I get to things I get to things.

I really liked the guitar and the feel of the song, but as other people have been saying, the vocals were just kind of all over the place. BUT I think I can help you out.

 

I would suggest trying out melodyne. It's what I find alot of artists around the internet using today. I love it.

Ahahaha oh my god only on a mlp forum. Uh yeah I remember my older brother had an account on the Sega forums with over 6000 posts when he was 12. I personally joined Bungie.net for Halo 2 when I was 11 to look at my game stats, though I didn't really use the forum there much other than to read about map packs. The first forum I ever really talked a lot on was a Halo 3 forge website. I racked up like 3000 posts by the time I was 14. I did some things on that site that I find kind of embarassing now haha but really it was a learning experience. I feel like there are a lot of dumb things people just are automatically going to do on their first forum.

He should profess his love to Rarity! We're still kind of left in the dark about how she feels about him. She covered his mouth when he was about to tell her he loved her. Maybe there should be an episode where Rarity falls head over hooves for some colt and Spike gets jealous or something.

Hey guys! I just joined the site tonight specifically to collaborate with other musicians on here. I have my own home recording studio and will be dropping some brony beats on here very soon. I also used to animate quite a bit for newgrounds back in the day. I think this is exactly what I am looking for. I'm just a little worried about it being it's own site. Maybe being it's own forum section would be better. Like a category that says "looking for a collab partner?" kind of deal.

Ah shucks this is really something I would like to do but you guys probably aren't interested in a blank flank huh? I actually joined today specifically to collaborate with the musicians on here.

I enjoyed season 2 more because they threw out the whole "YOU HAVE TO WRITE THE PRINCESS EVERYDAY TWILIGHT" thing. This allowed other characters to take the spotlight; like Pinkie in the twins episode. I feel the creators kind of realized that Twilight was not everyone's favorite character and thought the fact that it just focused on her made the show hard to work with.

Hi (: I am looking for somepony that might be interested in creating the artwork for a song I'm going to be releasing soon. The song is about Pink Lady. She is one of the mares that works on Applejack's orchard. She is present in basically every episode that takes place around the orchard, as well as some random episodes such as the ones below. I believe she even was one of the toys of previous generations. In the song, Pink Lady feels a bit overshadowed by Applejack's fame. She hopes to someday run the orchard but it seems Applejack isn't going anywhere soon.

 

She is the pony who points out Fluttershy at 15:48 in the episode Green Isn't Your Color.

Hi I'm Alex. I'm 18 years old and my favorite pony is Pinkie Pie.

 

My journey to MLP really seems long and complex now that I think of it. It's like if any little piece was missing, I probably wouldn't be here. I guess it's part of the reason why I enjoy the show so much. If you want to read about it, that's cool. If you don't just stop here and that's fine too because I'm mainly writing this to satisfy the small touch of OCD I think I might have haha

 

Anyway.

 

When I was very little, my parents bought me a keyboard for christmas. I absolutely hated playing piano, and after several years of lessons, I just quit. By the time I reached high school, I was still able to play, but I rarely sat down at a piano more than once a month. My freshman year however, I went to my school's talent show with a couple of friends. I was blown away by a certain upperclassman who performed Ozzy Osbourne on the piano. I don't really remember how it happened but over the course of the next few years I became that guy who sits in the attic all day with a microphone and a keyboard and always seems to decide to skip dinner to make music instead. The first time I ever showed anybody my music was during my senior year of high school. I wrote a song for my AP Psychology class about Sigmund Freud as a project. My classmates liked it so much they downloaded it and played it around the school for other teachers. The choir teacher got a hold of it and the next thing I knew I was recruited to be a lead role in the upcoming school musical. That was where I learned of My Little Pony. Before every rehearsal, the drama club kids would put on brony music to "get pumped". It reminded me a lot of the music I liked to make so I asked for the artists and looked them up. When I realized what all of the songs were about, I tried watching the show. I finished one episode and just kind of brushed it off as one of those things I guess I couldn't really get into. This changed after the musical though, when I attended a cast party following the last show. At the party we watched episode after episode of My Little Pony. With every episode I laughed more and more, and when I got home I looked up episodes online to keep watching. I knew I had officially become a brony when my brother walked into the room and asked me what I was doing and I was laughing too hard to respond.

 

Haha if you read all that thanks but it really wasn't necessary. So yup. I will be releasing some brony music soon. This is why I joined.
