  1. Yes, it should.

Also, it was, it'd be great to see another version it gets ignored a lot, and it'd be great to see used so much more.

And great nicknames actually, last two caught my eye, I'm quite the fairytail fan, and Nice actually.

And I normally name myself Talon for absolutely no reason at all, I just seem to... And it seems like a good idea, but also a bad idea, since Gardevoir isn't really exactly based off a Feminine Character, after time it was made to be one, but it really isn't, but it could work.

Also, some new news, if it hasn't been shared with you all yet.

Mega Charizard X has been revealed, I'm not sure if it's good or bad, but finally, Charizard has become a Fire/Dragon Type, what people always wanted, but the thing is, does that mean all starters get an X and Y Mega Evolution? If so, that could be a deal-breaker since they could easily screw up.

Oh my god, I love it. I mean, I liked the first Mega Charizard in the first place, but after seeing this I can't not pick Charmander(or perhaps train one ahead of time, but I'll probably still need to pick it for the stone). :yay:

As for version-exclusive evolutions, I guess it's weird yeah, and I don't know how many more Pokemon they'll do this with(I can definitely see Charizard being a special case considering its popularity), but it seems with the 2 we've seen so far they're making them unique and good, and if the trend continues X will have more physically attuned Megas and Y will have more of the special attacking ones, maybe.

  2. Sweet :D. And i like alot of pokemon, even if i've yet to have time to use each one in a team, but i do change it up and use different ones as much as I can.  As far as through the main story my team is consistent to the end basically, but if we're talking competitive, well i don't really do competitive anymore. And looks pretty cool! I need to transfer my pokemon up to gen 5 and into gen 6 when it comes out of course. Mine are still in platinum gen 4 mostly right now.

Thanks! Yeah I don't really do competitive play either, but I do try to raise my Pokémon to that standard since it's not hard for me. And yeah, I definitely usually have a consistent main story team as well, kinda weird not to lol.

  3. Oh yeah, I preordered X on Sunday, I'm so ready. :yay:

I can never stick with one team, I make multiple different teams with different playstyles. I like having a Sunny day team, or a hail themed team once in a while. I like having status effect teams, and some quirky ones.

I love all the pokemon, and I have to use them all in different ways.

Yeah I agree, I like mostly every Pokémon in their own way. I've trained so many Pokémon since I've learned to properly do so that I can't help but switch it up often. Sure, there are definitely some I like to use together more than others, but no one team is perfect so it's fun to see what works and what doesn't for me. :)

Here's a small sampling of my collection:

Can't wait to bring these guys to Gen 6. :D

  4. 'What Type of Brony are you? "I'm a..."'

    Moderate/Creative I'd say. Mostly Moderate.

'How do you contribute to the fandom? "I..."'

    Make artwork occasionally, buy/collect merchandise

'Are you in the closet, or out the closet?'

Out, it's not like it's the first thing I tell people about myself though. Still, no reason to really care who knows if I'm a brony or not though, not a big deal to me lol.

'How often do you watch the show? (on average)'

Eh, 4-6 episodes on a good week maybe, been really hungry for the new season lately though.

'On a scale, How often do you think about the fandom/show'

    9 I'd say.

'Would you like more surveys like this? (Just feedback for me)'

As long as they're not the same questions over and over, sure. :)

  5. I think I eat most things pretty fast, like snacks or less warm meals. If something's too hot or really big though, then I'll probably take my time on it, but still try to get it finished as fast as I can, probably. :P

  6. Hey there, welcome to the forums! So by text adventure it seems you mean role play I guess... not something that I'm particularly interested in but you can do that here! ;)

Well whatever it is you want to do here, I hope you enjoy it! :)

  7. Let's try and keep the discussion in this thread rational and civil, try not to take some of the negative behavior on display here much further please.

As for the news, well, I never really had any hangups about Twilicorn, but it's nice to get some reassurance I guess. :)

  8. I have some obsessive tendencies like Twilight.

My personality can shift around a bit like Rarity's.

I'm shy around newer people like Fluttershy.

    I'm pretty honest like Applejack.

I have a pretty fierce competitive spirit like Rainbow Dash.

I like making people laugh like Pinkie.

Yeah, I think we're all a bit like all of them. ;)

  9. That seems to be what the upcoming

    Power Ponies

episode is going to be, and I have to say I like the idea. The show can probably do a lot of different things that it didn't do before now since it doesn't seem there won't be many more friendship lesson style stuff, and dream episodes are already one very real possibility. :yay:

  10. Not eveery company is Sony you know. :P

But seriously, I've seen Nintendo be ripped off of a lot of times, and I think I'd say especially by Sony- mascot platformers, the Move, that one Smash Bros like game, etc- not that it's a bad thing really. Heck, Nintendo made things like control sticks and 4 face buttons standard, in that sense I guess you could say everyone's copying them in a way.

  11. I don't really like reading fanfiction honestly, I've read most of the more popular ones(Cupcakes, My Little Dashie, Fallout Equestria, etc) but not much besides that. Not a whole lot that interests me I guess, but I might find something I find worth reading occasionally at least.

Fan animations are indeed awesome though, most of them anyway. They certainly feel a bit closer to the show than reading fanfics to me, and there are certainly enough of them out there.

  12. Seems the story hasn't exactly been verified, so who knows it it's true or not...

Either way, that'd be a really terrible thing, he really should sue for that. I can't imagine why someone would be terrible enough to fire an employee over liking something that they don't agree with, being a brony is a very harmless thing and this is really very wrong if true.

  13. I see, sounds interesting. Psychic types are cool.  I don't either, although i dunno if mewtwo will be able to obtain before the end of the game anyways. guess we'll see. I've always used pokemon centers and done normal playthroughs ;p. I'm gonna do one one day. And yeah. Yeah, probably so, i'd be surprised if none are added frankly. I suppose, although idk if current mewtwo can learn Zen headbut, and the mega evolutions don't learn new moves as far as we know. I guess its a bit eh, but I don't think its a bad design exactly, its just nothing amazing to me. Its still a cool concept in the first place i guess. And true steel was nerfed, but on the same token is now strong to fairy type offensively, so it is somewhat buffed to.  Still an overall nerf especially for steel ghost, but still.

Well of course Mega evolutions don't learn new moves, they are only temporary after all. I'm just saying that Mewtwo has a ton of physical moves to chose from already that could be better used by its X Mega Evolution is all. ;)

It's not even out and I worship the game, every last thing it's released so far. I'm a total Pokemon fan girl that sucks up to everything the franchise dishes out but I can't help it! Everything about Pokemon just makes me giddy. This game is honestly the only thing I'm looking forward to right now.  I just want the game soo much, it needs to be here NOW. xD

Yeah I feel you, been a Pokémon fan ever since I could hold a Game Boy, can't wait for these games. :yay:

  14. Hello, and welcome to MLP Forums! Since you like Rarity, and seem to like the emotes, I think we'll get along,. ;)

Anyway, glad to hear you're enjoying yourself already, and I hope you continue to! :D

  15. Hey there, welcome to the forums! I'm SBB64 and, uh, I've been here a long time. :P

Anyway, I'm sure this forum will have plenty to offer you, the community is quite wonderful! I just know you'll enjoy it here. :yay:

  16. Interesting ;p, i never did a full 1 type team in pokemon yet really.

Heck i've never even done a nuzlocke ;p.

And I guess mega mewtwo X is just the physical version of the Mega mewtwos.

I'm sure it'll learn some nice moves i guess, it already learns a good bit of moves anyways.

Well assuming mewtwo can learn enough fighting moves to make it useful.

Psyshock is a special move i believe, and so is psystrike, except psystrike does factor in the other pokemons physical defense not special, but your special attack(If i'm remembering right.)

But yeah it is a bit awkward i guess

I think with mewtwos stats it'll be fine though.

Also on another note since nobody here mentioned it yet, for those who didn't hear a new pokemon the evolution of honedge, Doublade was revealed.

Its like honedge, except with two blades and its pink.

Its cool enough, a bit more simple, but i still think its cool.

I'm sure there will be at least some new physical Psychic type moves added in the games, or at least I hope so, otherwise I guess Zen Headbutt could do for Mega Mewtwo X(not that Psychic is really the best attacking type anyway, I could see more common sets for it utilizing just a Fighting type move and other attacks out of its huge movepool).

Also, Psyshock and Psystrike are pretty much the same move in that they're a special attacks that target a foe's defense stat, save that Psystrike is more powerful.

As for how I feel about Doublade, it's okay I guess... I sort of hoped for a cooler looking Steel/Ghost though. The nerf to Steel adds more weaknesses tto it as well... a third evo with 3 swords will probably happen though, that'd be cool.

  17. Hey there, welcome to the forums! The site shouldn't be too hard to figure out, just read the rules and post nicely and you should be fine. ;)

Anyway, hope you enjoy it here! :)

  18. I love it, I go there all the time to scour for Rarity fanart among other things(but mostly Rarity stuff lol). Plus I never have to see porn or spoilers(which are obviously both equally bad) there ever, really good tagging system. So yeah, great site. :D

  19. Name these changes. Because so far the changes pretty much consist of doing the same damn thing in a different place. "WE CHANGED THE REGION AND ADDED 100 NEW EQUALLY UNINSPIRED POKEMANS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT". I like turn based games, I liked every Pokemon game made up until this point. But the amount of changes they bring to the table is miniscule on a good day. The biggest changes happen between handheld generations, and even then they're never something worth particularly much. It simply doesn't warrant a purchase and I think lazy developers (like those who create new pokemon sequels) should not be rewarded for their inability to innovate.

Pokémon has went through many changes from generation to generation:

Gen 1 started it all so it layed the template.

Gen 2 split the special stat into special attack and special defense and added the Dark and Steel types, along with weather.

Gen 3 introduced abilities which changed battles drastically, along with double battles and 2 3D console games.

Gen 4 made it so that attacks were no longer determined if they were physical or special by their type, dramatically buffing many Pokemon.

Gen 5 introduced 2 new battle types with Triple and Rotation, and added even more new Pokemon than Gen 1 along with fine-tuning other mechanics very well(the battles are the fastest in the series in these titles).

Gen 6 will add the Fairy type, Mega Evolutions, Sky Battles, and will be the very first 3D handheld main series Pokemon title.

So yeah, while the changes made between generations may seem small on paper they really did change battles dramatically each game if you ask me, and I can't wait to see how X/Y's changes will effect the gameplay for myself. :yay:
